The HIPSE code provides a modelisation of heavy-ion reactions from 10MeV/A to 150 MeV/A. It describe all steps of the reaction from the approaching phase, the pre-equilibrium formation of light particles and heavy-fragments as well as the secondary in-flight decay of excited fragments. This code is now used to describe reaction like multifragmentation, but also to estimate pre-equilibrium effects or to describe reaction with 12C to describe hadro-therapy.
You can find the associated publication here, a short documentation on how to use it here, as well as the last version of the HIPSE package here.
Note that, starting from HIPSE, another code of nucleon-Ion collisions (nIPSE) has been also constructed. It is also available upon demand. See here for its description.
