We are the Lachlan Valley branch of the National Parks Association N.S.W.
The NPA is committed to protecting, conserving and restoring the integrity and diversity of nature in NSW, its biodiversity, geodiversity, supporting ecological processes and associated cultural values.
The Lachlan Valley Branch conducts regular guided walks in local National Parks, Nature Reserves and Forests in the local areas surrounding Parkes and Forbes in Central West NSW.
Bimonthly meetings are usually held on the third Wednesday of the respective month at a members home. An annual Christmas party is held (depending on weather) at Bumberry Dam, approximately 30 kilometres east of Parkes in December.
