INTRODUCTION

LaceLedger ("we," "our," or "us") is committed to protecting your privacy.

This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and safeguard your

information when you use the LaceLedger iOS application ("the App").

By using LaceLedger, you agree to the collection and use of information

described in this policy.

INFORMATION WE COLLECT

2a. Account Information

When you sign in with Apple, we receive:

A unique Apple User ID (an anonymous identifier Apple assigns to you)
Your display name (only if you choose to share it with Apple's permission prompt) We do not receive your email address unless you explicitly provide one.

2b. Sneaker Collection Data

Information you voluntarily enter into the App, including:

Sneaker nicknames, brands, models, colorways, sizes, and notes
Custom tags you apply to your collection
Retirement reasons and dates
Whether a pair is marked as open to sell or trade

2c. Photos

Photos you take or import from your photo library to document your sneakers.

These are stored locally on your device and, if you use social features,

may be associated with your CloudKit account.

2d. Location Data

If you enable the Nearby Feed feature, we collect your approximate (coarse)

location one time per app launch to show you sneakerheads in your area.

We do not continuously track your location. Precise location is never collected.

2e. Social Activity

If you use social features, we collect:

Friend connections you create
Activity you post (e.g., adding or retiring a pair)
Messages you send to other users
Users you block (the block list is stored locally on your device and is never uploaded to our servers)
Content or users you report (report records are stored in iCloud solely to facilitate review and moderation; reporters remain anonymous to the reported user)

2f. Usage & Technical Data

We do not use third-party analytics. We do not collect crash reports through

any third-party service. Standard Apple diagnostics may be collected per

your iOS device settings.

HOW WE USE YOUR INFORMATION

We use your information solely to operate and improve LaceLedger:

To display and organize your sneaker collection
To enable social features (friends, feed, messaging)
To show nearby sneakerheads when you use the location feature
To process subscription purchases through Apple's StoreKit
To send push notifications for sell/trade activity from your connections
To restore your data when you reinstall the app
To review reports of content or users that may violate our Terms of Service

We do not sell your data. We do not use your data for advertising.

We do not share your data with third parties outside of the services

described in Section 4.

DATA STORAGE & THIRD-PARTY SERVICES

4a. iCloud / CloudKit (Apple)

Social data — your profile, friends list, activity feed, messages, and any

moderation reports you submit — is stored in Apple's CloudKit infrastructure.

This data is governed by Apple's Privacy Policy

(https://www.apple.com/legal/privacy/).

Your sneaker collection data is stored locally on your device using

SwiftData and is not synced to CloudKit.

4b. Apple StoreKit

Subscription purchases are processed entirely by Apple. We do not store

or have access to your payment information. Subscription status is

managed by Apple and verified locally on your device.

4c. Apple Sign In

Authentication is handled entirely by Apple. We store only the anonymous

Apple User ID Apple provides us — we never see your Apple ID email address

unless you choose to share it.

We do not use any other third-party services, SDKs, or analytics platforms.

DATA RETENTION

Your sneaker collection data lives on your device and is deleted when

you delete the App.

Your CloudKit social data (profile, friends, activity, messages, and any

submitted reports) is retained in iCloud until you request deletion

(see Section 7).

CHILDREN'S PRIVACY

LaceLedger is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not

knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you

believe a child under 13 has provided us personal information, please

YOUR RIGHTS & DATA DELETION

You may delete your account and all associated CloudKit data at any time

directly within the App by navigating to Profile → Settings → Delete Account.

This will permanently remove your profile, friends, activity, messages, and

any other CloudKit data associated with your account.

Alternatively, you may contact us at LedgerEngineApps@gmail.com with the

subject line "Data Deletion Request" and we will delete your data within

30 days of receiving your request.

Your local sneaker collection data can be deleted at any time simply

by deleting the App from your device.

PUSH NOTIFICATIONS

We send push notifications only to alert you when a friend in your

network posts a pair that is open to sell or trade. You can disable

push notifications at any time in your iOS Settings → Notifications →

LaceLedger.

LOCATION PERMISSIONS

Location access is optional. If you grant location permission, your

approximate location is used only to show nearby users in the Feed tab.

You can revoke location access at any time in iOS Settings → Privacy &

Security → Location Services → LaceLedger.

CAMERA & PHOTO LIBRARY

Camera and photo library access is used solely to let you photograph

and document your sneakers within the App. Photos are stored on your

device and are never uploaded to our servers. If you use social features,

photos may be associated with your CloudKit account per Section 4a.

You can revoke these permissions at any time in iOS Settings → Privacy

& Security.

SECURITY

We rely on Apple's infrastructure (iCloud, CloudKit, Sign in with Apple,

and StoreKit) for all data storage and transactions. Apple employs

industry-standard encryption in transit and at rest. We do not operate

our own servers.

CONTENT MODERATION

LaceLedger allows users to report other users or content that violates

our Terms of Service. Submitted reports are stored in CloudKit and

reviewed by us. We reserve the right to remove content or suspend

accounts that violate our Terms of Service. Reporters remain anonymous

to the reported user.

Users may block other users at any time. Blocked users will not appear

in your feed or be able to interact with your content. Block lists are

stored locally on your device.

CHANGES TO THIS POLICY

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you

of significant changes by updating the "Last updated" date at the top of

this page. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance

of the updated policy.
