La Causerie Française, 

A Kansas City Language and Cultural Organization

La Causerie Française is a language and cultural organization that has had a rich history in Kansas City for over 110 years. We offer foreign language classes and cultural opportunities. Through Spanish, Italian and French classes and events we hope to build a sense of community and connection, and we hope that this experience extends outward to the benefit of others. 

When?

Classes start in early September usually right after Labor Day and run through mid May.  

Where?

We hold in person classes on Friday mornings at Second Presbyterian Church, 55th and Brookside Boulevard, Kansas City MO.  There are online classes via Zoom on a variety of days and times.

Parking is sometimes tight, but please do not park in the Crestwood Shops spaces, they need those for customers.  In person classes are scheduled for Friday mornings and run for 32 weeks, from September to May. They take place in the Second Presbyterian Church at 318 East 55th Street, Kansas City, MO 64113.

How to enroll:

Enrollment: Online enrollment for the 2024-2025 school year will open summer 2024.

Use the Register button along the top of the main page to access the On-line Registration site or CLICK HERE.   If you have any trouble registering you may email or call us.

Payment: All payments are made via credit or debit card at the time of registration.

Drop/Refund Policy: A refund, minus a processing fee of $75, will be granted if requested in writing prior to the last day of September each year. The written request must be submitted and RECEIVED by La Causerie prior to the deadline. The request for refund may be e-mailed to lacauseriefrancaise@gmail.com. Please put 'dropping a class' in the subject line.  The request must include your name, address,  the class or classes that you wish to drop, and the amount you paid.  It is also very useful for us if you can let us know your reason for dropping the class.  All refunds are sent out by check and will be mailed by the end of October.  

If you need to drop a class after the refund period please still notify the school so that we can let the instructor know and update the class roster.
