Guidelines for handing out treats:

  • Please sign-up here if you plan to hand out treats. This allows us to put you on our map we'll post, and enters you into our drawings to win prizes.

  • If you are only handing out candy, you have the option to leave your trick or treat station unattended on the “Honor System.” DO NOT LEAVE ALCOHOL UNATTENDED.

  • If you would like, we will provide you with two stakes you can pound into the ground and flagging tape. You can use these as well as your table to as a way to control where people go on your site and make a "counter" with you on one side and the folks sampling on the other side.

  • Please sanitize your hands prior to filling cups. Please don't refill cups. You are responsible for providing your own cups and a garbage can for their disposal.

  • Please maintain a 6 foot distance between you and the folks sampling. Masks are encouraged but not required.

  • Please make sure you check folks drinking alcohol that they are over 21. You are responsible for making sure that you are not serving minors.

Thank you!

Guidelines for going out to trick-or-treat:

  • Check our Activities & Updates Website for a map of sites handing out treats.

  • The choice of when and how to participate in activities is a personal one. Only you know what's right for your family.

  • We encourage trick-or-treaters to wear masks that cover nose and mouth- these are recommended but not required. We also recommend you bring hand sanitizer and clean your hands frequently while trick-or-treating.

  • Please, as a courtesy to others, maintain social distancing from other groups that are trick-or-treating. Stay 6 feet away from others outside of your group, and wait your turn at a distance for treats.

  • Please maintain a 6 foot distance between you and the folks handing out treats.

  • Please respect all flagging tape and stay outside of designated areas.

  • If you plan to partake in any alcohol, please carry your ID. Anyone under 21 is not allowed to consume alcohol on premises.

Guidelines for Site Decorating:

  • We will not be giving away a special prize for Haunted Walks this year. We are hoping to resume that category next year.

  • We will be giving away prizes for next decorated sites, as can be seen from the roadway. Our judges will not be entering Haunted Walks, and all sites will be judged solely on the view they present from the road.

  • We don’t recommend that customers build Haunted Walks, due to the difficulty of crowd control. If you do choose to build a Haunted Walk, please follow these guidelines:

    • If your Haunted Walk is covered with a ceiling (such as a canopy), please make sure there are no walls surrounding the canopy so there is proper ventilation.

    • If your Haunted Walk has walls (such as a maze), please make sure there is no roof so there is proper ventilation.

    • Haunted Walks cannot go through tents or trailers that do not follow the above conditions

    • Please only allow one family through at a time

    • Please limit face-to-face interaction and do not get closer than 6 feet to anyone outside of your group.

    • If you are a seasonal at Lakeside Campground, please sign-up here to let us know when you are decorating so we can come and judge. If you are decorating a site at Lake Arrowhead Campground, there's no need to sign-up.
