I am an artist, educator, and researcher specializing in the typology of non-maze labyrinths based on their underlying mathematical patterns. In 2015, I completed a Master of Fine Arts in Intermedia focusing on land art and liminal aesthetics, especially the design and use of labyrinths.
While building labyrinths, facilitating walks, and leading workshops, I continued to explore mathematical concepts such as permutations, open meanders, symmetry groups, and recursive algorithms, and convened an international research group to discuss labyrinth typology.
In 2024, I was accepted into the PhD in Interdisciplinary Studies program at the University of Maine and my research proposal for a domain-specific spatial ontology for the classification of non-maze labyrinths was approved.
