Greetings coaches!
On behalf of the Kokomo Church Softball League, we'd like to welcome you and thank you for participating in the 45th Labor Day Church Softball Classic, being held at Northwest Park in Kokomo on Sept. 3,4 & 5. The pool play schedule for Saturday will be attached, and we've tried to accommodate all special requests. After pool play is completed Saturday afternoon, teams will be bracketed into one double elimination tournament, to begin on Sunday at 11am. The tournament will conclude on Monday. Those brackets will be emailed to the coaches and posted on the tournament Facebook page and website at:

Like may other places, we have struggled to find umpires, and this tournament is no different. We will be using both sanctioned and non-sanctioned umpires. We expect everyone to treat them with respect, coaches you are responsible for the actions of your players. Any issues should be addressed to Larry Miller.
The tournament is ASA-sanctioned. Balls will be provided as part of your entry fee, we will be using 52/300 softballs. Coaches please sign your team in before your first game on Saturday, we will be located under the shelter next to the basketball courts. We will not be using scorekeepers on Saturday but will on Sunday and Monday, please have your lineups turned into them in a timely manner. We do not have a uniform rule, but if players can wear shirts with numbers it will help our scorekeepers.
No metal cleats, 1 hour time limit (pool play only), coin toss to determine home team, home team leads the prayer, begin with 1-1 count (no courtesy foul), HR limit is 3 for both pool play and the tournament, after that, all HRs will be outs. Run rule is 20 runs after 3 innings, 15 after 4 and 10 after 5. Complete rules can be found at the above website.
We will do all we can to keep the tournament running on schedule, and we ask for your assistance as well. There is no gate fee and there is a concession stand at the park.

Pool play to determine seeding for Upper and Lower Division Double Elimination Tournament (Subject to change depending upon the number of teams entered). 5 game guarantee. $300.00 per team (balls are provided) due to Larry Miller by August 20th 2022.
