We are pleased to announce a call for post-conference and pre-conference manuscripts. We would like to publish a thematic collection of papers in the issue of Avant journal. The deadline for submissions is November 15, 2020. However, it is worth considering that early submitted manuscripts are reviewed and published faster, in Online First mode. It is beneficial for authors, as well as will allow more flexibility in the editorial and publishing process. Regardless, all these articles will also be published in the mentioned collection.

Papers are restricted to a maximum of 9,000 words, including all elements (title page, abstract, main text, notes, references, etc). They should be prepared in accordance with the APA guidelines. The manuscripts will be refereed through a peer-review process. Only manuscripts of sufficient quality, accepted (or revised and accepted) by peer-reviewers and editors, will be published. Avant is an interdisciplinary open access journal devoted mostly to cognitive and cultural anthropology, cognitive sciences, and studies on art, indexed in Scopus, Web of Science ESCI, EBSCO Publishing, The Directory of Open Access Journals, and other peer-reviewed journal databases. The standard licence is CC BY-NC-ND 3.0. Non-commercial use and distribution in any medium is permitted, provided the author and the journal are properly credited.
