Step into the Technology and Livelihood Education (TLE) Room, and you’ll immediately catch the aroma of something exciting—creativity mixed with the scent of freshly baked bread or sizzling dishes on the grill.
The TLE Room is where our 7th and 8th graders learn the basics of culinary arts. This is where recipes turn into reality, ideas are cooked up (literally), and every student gets a taste of what it means to prepare a meal from scratch. From baking pastries to grilling barbecue, the TLE Room offers an environment that blends fun and learning.
We’ve equipped the space with essential tools to help students master the basics of cooking. More than just teaching techniques, the TLE Room fosters teamwork, discipline, and a sense of accomplishment—skills that go beyond the kitchen. For students at CMULHS, the TLE Room is more than just a facility; it’s a place to discover passions, develop practical skills, and create memories. After all, what better way to learn than by doing—and maybe tasting along the way?
