Vincenzo Pascale was born in Rome, Italy, in 1982. He received a Master degree in Telecomunication Engineering with specialization in Electromagnetic Technologies from the University of Rome, La Sapienza in 2010. He defends a thesis on "Analysis and Design of radiofrequency front-end, based on new generation low profile antenna, for terminal equipment for a secure satellite radio link in civil missions for unmanned Aerial Vehicles", in association with Thales Alenia Space. In 2011 he was a Trainee at Thales Alenia Space Italia as RF and Antenna Engineer. He joined, at the end of the same year, Doctoral School in Electromagnetics and Mathematical Models For Engineering at the Department of Information Engineering, Electronics and Telecommunications (DIET). He worked as Antenna and RF Engineer on R&D activities and space programs collaborating with ESA, Thales Alenia Space, MBDA, Eutelsat, Telespazio, Airbus Defence and Space, CGS. He works as RF and Microwave Engineer. He is currently preparing his dissertation for the PhD graduation. His main areas of interest are: Active satellite antennas, antenna nulling, satellite interference mitigation, deep penetrating antennas, leaky wave antennas, underwater antennas, satellite RF filters and microwave components.
