Fabio Pelorossi was born in Alatri, Italy, in 1985. He received the Bachelor degree in Electronic Engineering from the University of Rome, La Sapienza in 2008 and the Master degree from the same Department in 2011 (summa cum laude), with a thesis on "Advanced Satellite Payloads based on Imaging RF-Front-End Systems". In 2011 he was a Trainee at the European Space Research and Technology Center (ESTEC) of the European Space Agency (ESA), in Noordwijk, The Netherlands. He joined, at the end of the same year, the Doctoral School in Electromagnetics at the Department of Information Engineering, Electronics and Telecommunications (DIET). He is currently preparing his dissertation for the PhD graduation. Within his Doctoral curriculum, his main areas of study can be identified as: ground based and spaceborn antennas, deep penetrating antennas, leaky wave antennas, electromagnetic compatibility and interference problems, beam wave guide antennas, large aperture reflectors antennas, imaging antennas, spacecraft tracking systems, deep space antennas arraying. He is permanently working since December 2011 at the European Space Operation Center (ESOC) of the European Space Agency (ESA), in Darmstadt, Germany, as RF antenna engineer.
