Emiliano Sassolini

Emiliano Sassolini was born in Rome in 1980. He got master degree in Physics from Roma Tre University, Rome in 2009. At present he is attending the beginning of third year of Phd Course in Electromagnetism at Sapienza University of Rome. The metamaterial absorbers in the microwave band are the topic of his research. Particularly his studies are focused about the improving of the performance of these devices, especially about enhancement of the angular absorption. Starting from a metamaterial device absorber already known in the scientific literature, he gradually changed the geometric parameters until to achieve a new shape of metamaterial device that improves the angular absorption.
