A creature called the Unfound lives in the woods, completely lost. A search party tries to find it, but has no luck. The creature is able to conform itself to its surroundings and constantly does so, losing who it is. When the group finds it, they don't recognize it; the Unfound remains lost.

Trivia
The title of the work came from an email sent to Mrs. Heile on March 7th, 2025 with the same subject line. She thought the subject line was the title of a new work, when it was not.
"!!!! I thought this was the title of a new work!"
The poem clearly makes reference to the paradox of the Ship of Theseus.
The work was reprinted in Volume 32, Issue 6 of The Blueprint and in Volume 60 of Expressions, both on May 23rd, 2025.
