This short story was also sent in to the 2023 Mt. St. Joseph Writing Contest for sophomores in high school.
The version available on the L.A.B. Productions Website is the second revision of the story known as the "CONTEST" version. It fixes some grammar mistakes and makes a lot of the stanzas a lot easier to understand.
On August 20th, 2024, Mr. Cahill delivered to Logan Bauer the certificates and other goodies from the competition that he had just been accidentally holding on to in the over-a-year-long span since the competition concluded.
