About

Throughout the season we work on designing, building, and programming a robot to compete in the FTC competition. Our goal this year is to compete in the decode challenge at the Adventist Robotics league in Florida. We've been creating prototypes and testing programs to get our robot ready, as well as driving last years robot. We're so excited for competition and can't wait to go to Florida!

For over 14 years, our school, Livingstone Adventist Adademy has supported a robotics team. Our science teacher, Mr. Wheeling, started a robotics team back in 2011, and has coached/mentored ever since. Over the years, our team name has changed. We originally started as Adamantium, but more recently changed to the Wingnuts! Throughout the years, team 5198 has been inspiring individuals to learn, develop new skills, and have fun.
