Terms
We ask for a 50% down payment on acceptance of your booking and the remaining 50% on arrival. If your plans change and you need to cancel, we will provide a full refund if you let us know at least 45 days in advance. After 45 days there will be no refund. We strongly suggest that you take out insurance to cover the cost in case you do need to cancel.
The maximum number of guests is six. We are not set up to comfortably accept more than this.
We do not accept pets, and we don’t think it’s a good idea to bring them here. The surrounding land is covered in dense vegetation and it would be very easy to lose a dog. Plus, there are wolves and wild boars in the woods.
Housekeeping notes
When using the pool please make sure you remove all sun lotions, tanning oils, and other skin products as they can react with the chlorine. They will turn the pool water cloudy, and the chemicals produced by the reaction can damage your skin.
Wifi. Upstairs we have Digital Globe wifi. The password is johnana1. Downstairs we use DLink, and the password is oldrupina.
When you leave the windows open, please put the catches on as the windows can be damaged in sudden winds.
Recycling and rubbish. There is a box for recycling in the kitchen, in the cabinet under the fridge. The municipal bins for rubbish and recycling (glass, metal, and plastic) are up on the road, to the left as you leave the property. Paper recycling is at the bottom of the hill, beside the train station. We would be very grateful if you could ensure that all rubbish and recycling items are removed from the property when you leave.
Plastic bags for the rubbish are in the cabinet under the fridge.
Outdoor cushions and hammock. The covered area outside is not waterproof, so please take the cushions and hammock inside if it looks like rain.
Washing machine. Please let us know if you want to use the washing machine and we will tell you how to use it. It is located in the utility room.
Herbs by the terrace and swimming pool have been planted for guests to use. We would be grateful if you could water them once a day so that they will continue to grow. We’re happy to water them ourselves, if you prefer, but we don’t want to intrude on your privacy. Just let us know.
Check in is from 4.00pm to midnight. At the end of your stay please ensure you are ready to check out at 10:00am.
