Experience Hispanic culture

¡Hola, and welcome to my page! My name is Carlie (but you can call me Carlita).

I am an Idaho country girl who has a deep love for and understanding of the Hispanic culture. I grew up on a farm with cows, horses, alfalfa and homegrown values. After graduating from high school, I spent a year and a half in the Washington D.C. Area living among Hispanic people and learning Spanish.

Since learning Spanish, not a day has gone by that I don’t use my Spanish at least once. It really is SO useful! Learning Spanish has allowed me to connect with so many people that I might otherwise never have met. This brings me to the purpose of this page.

I created this page on the belief that it is NEVER too late to learn about about another culture. My objectives are to:

1) help people learn Spanish in a fun and new way,

2) familiarize people with the Hispanic culture, and

3) detract from negative world opinions by fostering positivity.

I truly believe that the #1 reason we judge others is because we don’t have enough knowledge about them. After realizing that a ton of people wish they knew more about the Hispanic culture, the idea for La Guera Vaquera (The Blonde Gringa Cowgirl) was born!
