Carlie, "La Guera Vaquera", was born and raised on a small farm in Idaho. After high school, she lived in the Washington, D.C. Area for a year and half where she lived among Hispanic people and learned to speak Spanish. This experience has heavily influenced her life since returning to Idaho for school. She loves everything about the Hispanic culture, and she enjoys doing anything that has to do with it - from cooking and eating Hispanic food, to participating in Salsa dancing competitions.
She is currently attending BYU-Idaho and studying communication, public relations, and, you guessed it - SPANISH. Upon graduating with her bachelor's degree in December, she will working as an Event Marketing Specialist for Techtronic Industries. She hopes to someday have her dream job working for a nonprofit organization that works with Hispanic refugees!
She LOVES learning and knows that it is a vital part of getting the most out of life. She values the importance of education and wants to help others learn as much as she can!
A few things that bring her joy are eating Hispanic food from various countries, Salsa dancing, traveling, and singing karaoke at the top of her lungs. While she loves getting dressed up and donning her favorite pair of high heels, she also finds deep satisfaction in doing anything in the outdoors while sporting her cowboy boots.
Message me to learn about the Hispanic culture today!
