1. Introduction and Acceptance

These Terms of Use (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the L-Go App (“App”). The App is operated by a private individual (“we,” “us,” or “our”). By downloading or using the App, you agree to be legally bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, you must stop using the App.

The L-Go App provides language learning tools, including lessons, vocabulary practice, and listening activities.

Minors:
The L-Go App is intended for users who are at least 13 years old. By accessing or using the App, you represent and warrant that you are 13 years of age or older. If you are between the ages of 13 and 17, you confirm that you have obtained permission from a parent or legal guardian to use the App and that such parent or guardian has reviewed and agreed to these Terms on your behalf. Users under the age of 13 are not permitted to use the App or create an account.

2. Our Services

L-Go App is a mobile application that helps users learn languages through lessons, vocabulary practice, and audio exercises. Users can study at their own pace.

We do not guarantee specific learning results or the availability of any particular language course. The content within the App may be updated, modified, or removed at any time to improve functionality or user experience.

The App is currently offered free of charge, with no paid features or purchases. We reserve the right to introduce optional paid content, subscriptions, or advertisements in the future, with prior notice to users.

3. Eligibility & User Obligations

The L-Go App is available to users worldwide, except where its use is restricted or unsupported.

• Age Requirement:
  The L-Go App is intended for users who are at least 13 years old. By accessing or using the App, you represent and warrant that you are 13 years of age or older. If you are between the ages of 13 and 17, you confirm that you have obtained permission from a parent or legal guardian to use the App and that such parent or guardian has reviewed and agreed to these Terms on your behalf.
  Users under the age of 13 are not permitted to use the App or create an account.

• Regional Availability:
  The App may not be available or supported in all countries or regions. Access to the App is provided at the discretion of the App owner and may be restricted, suspended, or discontinued in certain locations at any time.

• User Responsibilities:
  You agree to use the App only for lawful purposes and not to violate any applicable laws, regulations, or third-party rights while using the App. You are responsible for ensuring that your use of the App is legal in your country of residence.

4. User Accounts & Registration

L-Go App may allow users to create an optional account using an email address and password. Account registration is not required, and users may continue using the App as guests with limited features.

If you choose to create an account, you agree to:

• Provide accurate and truthful information.

• Keep your login credentials confidential.

• Be responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.

You may delete your account at any time through the App’s account settings. We reserve the right to suspend or remove any account that violates these Terms or is found to be fraudulent or abusive.

We are not responsible for any loss resulting from unauthorized access caused by your failure to protect your login credentials.

5. Intellectual Property

All content available in the L-Go App, including lessons, vocabulary lists, audio files, exercises, software code, databases, user interface design, text, graphics, and any other educational materials (“Content”), is owned or licensed by us and is protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws.

You may use the App and its Content only for your personal, non-commercial learning. While you are free to use the language or skills you learn through the App in your daily life, you may not:

• Copy, reproduce, distribute, or publish any Content from the App;

• Use any part of the App, its Content, code, or databases for commercial purposes;

• Use the App or its materials to develop, train, or support a competing product, application, or service.

All rights not expressly granted to you are reserved.

User Feedback and Submissions:
If you choose to send us any suggestions, feedback, or ideas (“Submissions”), you agree that:

• We may use such Submissions for any lawful purpose without compensation;

• You confirm that your Submission does not infringe any third-party rights;

• You remain responsible for any content you send to us.

Any violation of this section may result in suspension or termination of your access to the App.

6. Mobile App License

L-Go App is licensed to you, not sold. You are granted a limited, personal, non-transferable, and revocable license to download and use the App on a single personal device.

If future updates introduce account-based access or synchronization, you may be allowed to use the App on multiple personal devices under the same account. Such changes, if implemented, will be communicated within the App or through the applicable app store.

You agree not to:

• Copy, modify, or reproduce any part of the App;

• Reverse engineer, decompile, or extract the App’s code or databases;

• Rent, sell, sublicense, or make the App available to others;

• Violate any terms of the Apple App Store or Google Play Store.

This license remains valid as long as you comply with these Terms and use the App for personal learning purposes only. It may be suspended or revoked in cases of misuse or unauthorized access.

7. Prohibited Activities

You agree to use the L-Go App only in ways that are lawful and consistent with these Terms.
You must not use the App or its content in any manner that could harm us, other users, or the operation of the App.

You specifically agree not to:

• Use the App or its Content for any commercial or promotional purpose without prior written permission.

• Copy, reproduce, modify, or distribute any part of the App or its Content except for your personal use.

• Attempt to reverse engineer, decompile, disassemble, or otherwise access the source code or databases of the App.

• Circumvent or interfere with any security features of the App.

• Use automated tools, bots, or scripts to interact with the App or its data.

• Upload, transmit, or distribute viruses, malware, or harmful code.

• Use the App to harass, defame, or harm any person or group.

• Use the App in any way that violates applicable laws or third-party rights.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate access to the App for anyone who violates these rules or engages in activities that could damage, disrupt, or misuse the App.

8. Modification & Termination

We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the L-Go App at any time, with or without notice. This includes updates, feature changes, maintenance, or removal of content.

We may also suspend or terminate a user’s access to the App if we believe they have violated these Terms, engaged in harmful behavior, or interfered with the proper functioning of the App.

You may stop using the App at any time. Deleting the App from your device will end your use of the service. If you have created an account, you can delete it at any time by tapping the ‘Delete account’ button in your profile, accessible from the three-line menu in the upper-left corner of the main page. 

We are not responsible for any loss, interruption, or inconvenience resulting from changes to the App or suspension of access.

9. Third-Party Links & Content

The L-Go App may include links to external websites or access to third-party content, such as audio files or resources hosted outside the App.

We do not own or control third-party websites or services and are not responsible for:

• The availability, accuracy, or security of external links or content;

• Any changes made by third-party providers;

• Any loss or damage resulting from your access to or use of third-party content.

When you access third-party content through the App, you do so at your own risk and are responsible for reviewing the terms and policies of those third-party providers.

We do not endorse or guarantee any content, services, or materials provided by third parties.

10. Disclaimer

L-Go App is provided as a digital learning tool, and we make every effort to ensure a positive and secure experience. However, like any online service, performance may depend on your device, internet connection, and external providers.

We encourage users to use their own judgment when accessing links or third-party content, as we do not create or control materials outside this App. External services, including hosting or advertisements (if added in the future), may operate under their own terms and content standards.

While we aim for accuracy and reliability, no digital service can guarantee uninterrupted access or absolute freedom from technical issues, security risks, or outdated information. If you encounter any errors, unexpected behavior, or concerns, you are free to discontinue use or contact us for assistance.

L-Go App is provided on an “as-is” and “as-available” basis. By using the App, you acknowledge that your use is at your own risk. To the fullest extent permitted by law, all warranties, whether express or implied, including any implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement, are disclaimed.

We make no representations about the accuracy or completeness of the content within the App. We are not liable for:

1. any errors or inaccuracies in content or materials;

2. any personal injury or property damage resulting from your use of the App;

3. any unauthorized access to or use of App or personal information;

4. any interruption or termination of transmission;

5. any viruses or malicious code transmitted by third parties;

6. any errors or omissions in content, or any loss or damage incurred from the use of content made available through the App.

We do not endorse or guarantee any third-party product, service, or advertising presented through the App, linked websites, or displayed within the App. Any interactions or transactions with third-party providers are solely between you and those providers.

11. Limitation of Liability

L-Go App is developed and provided by a private individual for educational purposes. By using the App, you agree to use it responsibly and understand that all learning progress depends on your personal effort and commitment.

We do not provide financial, professional, or legal guarantees. The App is not designed to cause harm, and it is not responsible for any indirect effects such as data loss, device issues, missed opportunities, or unmet expectations.

If you choose to rely on any content, features, or third-party links accessed through the App, you do so at your own discretion. Users are encouraged to maintain their own device security and internet safety.

In all cases, the use of the App should remain reasonable and voluntary, and users may discontinue use at any time.

12. Pricing & Future Monetization

L-Go App is currently offered free of charge. No purchases, subscriptions, or paid features are required to access the app at this time.

In the future, we may introduce optional paid features, subscriptions, or advertising. Any such changes will be clearly communicated in advance within the App or through the applicable app store platform.

Users will always have the choice to continue using the App for free (if a free version remains available) or discontinue use if they do not agree with future pricing.

No charges will ever be applied without the user's awareness and confirmation through the app store purchase process.

13. User Data & Privacy

We may collect limited personal information, such as your email address and password to support access, communication, and functionality within the L-Go App. This data is securely stored using services such as Firebase.

We do not sell, trade, or share personal data with third parties for marketing purposes.

By using the App, you agree to the handling of your information in accordance with our separate Privacy Policy, which explains in detail how data is collected, stored, protected, and how you can request deletion of your data or account.

14. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution

These Terms are intended to be applied fairly and in alignment with general legal principles and consumer protection standards.
If any concern or dispute arises, you agree to first contact us to seek an informal resolution.

If a mutual resolution cannot be reached, the matter will be handled in a reasonable and lawful manner, taking into account the applicable consumer protections without imposing any specific jurisdiction or court, unless required by mandatory law.

Nothing in this section restricts your basic legal rights as a user.

15. Electronic Communications

By using the L-Go App or contacting us, you agree to receive communications electronically. This may include emails, in-app messages, notifications, or updates related to the App.

All notices, information, and communications that we provide electronically will be considered legally valid, as long as they are sent to the email address you provided or displayed within the App.
