This Privacy Policy explains how the L-Go App, operated by a private individual, collects, uses, and protects personal information.
The purpose of this Policy is to help users understand what data is collected, why it is collected, and how it is handled.

By using the L-Go App, you agree to the practices described in this Policy.
This Privacy Policy applies only to the mobile application and does not cover any external websites or services that may be linked within the App.

We currently collect only limited information necessary to provide and improve the L-Go App, including:

Email Address – used for account access, identification, and communication.
Password – used solely for user authentication and account security. Passwords are handled within the App environment and are not publicly visible. We do not store passwords in public-facing databases.
Learning Progress and App Activity – such as completed lessons or personal preferences, stored to enhance your learning experience.

L-Go App may request permission to track user activity only for analytics and app improvement purposes, such as optimizing lessons and measuring learning engagement. We do not share tracking data with advertisers or third parties, and tracking is not used for marketing. 

As the App develops, we may introduce additional features that require collecting other types of data. If this occurs, we will clearly inform users and update this Privacy Policy before any new data is collected.

We do not collect sensitive personal information such as financial details, national identity numbers, government-issued identification, or biometric data.

We do not sell, rent, or trade personal data under any circumstances.

3. How We Use Your Data

We use the information we collect to operate and improve the L-Go App. This includes:

4. Legal Basis for Processing

We process personal data based on your explicit consent.
By creating an account or actively accepting the Terms of Use and this Privacy Policy within the App, you agree to the collection and use of your information as described.

You may withdraw your consent at any time by deleting your account or discontinuing the use of the App. However, certain features may not function without basic data such as your email address.

5. Data Storage & Security

The L-Go App uses Firebase services to store and manage certain user data. Email addresses and learning progress are stored in secure cloud infrastructure provided by Firebase, which includes industry-standard security measures and encryption during data transmission and storage.

User passwords are used exclusively for authentication purposes and are handled within the App’s internal system variables for login validation. Passwords are not publicly visible and are not accessible to other users. We apply reasonable technical and administrative measures to protect all stored information.

While we take appropriate steps to safeguard user data, no digital system can guarantee absolute security. Users are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of their login credentials and for protecting access to their own devices.

If any security concerns arise, users may delete their account directly through the App at any time.

6. Data Sharing & Third Parties

We do not sell, trade, or rent personal data to any third parties.

User data is stored and processed through Firebase services, which act as a secure technical provider. Firebase may process data on our behalf solely for authentication and storage purposes, under strict data protection standards.

In the future, the App may include advertising or external services. If advertising is introduced, it will not involve the sale or disclosure of personal data. Any advertisements will be delivered by third parties under their own content policies, and users will be clearly informed within the App.

We may share aggregated or anonymous usage statistics for analytical or improvement purposes, but such data cannot identify individual users.

7. Data Retention

We retain personal data only for as long as your account remains active.
Your email address and learning progress are stored to maintain your access and personalized learning experience.

If you choose to delete your account using the in-app option, your personal data will be permanently removed from our systems within a reasonable time.

We do not automatically delete accounts due to inactivity. If you stop using the App without deleting your account, your data will remain stored until you decide to remove it.

8. User Rights

You have control over your personal data stored within the App.
You may delete your account at any time using the in-app deletion option, which will permanently remove your email and learning progress from our systems.

At this time, we do not provide separate data export or download requests. By managing your account within the App, you retain direct control over the removal of your information.

If you choose to stop using the App without deleting your account, your data will remain stored until you decide to remove it.

9. Children’s Privacy

he L-Go App is not intended for children under the age of 13.
We do not knowingly collect, use, or store personal data from children under 13. If we become aware that personal data has been collected from a child under 13, we will take steps to delete such information promptly.
If you are a parent or legal guardian and believe that a child under 13 has provided personal data through the App, please contact us at l-go.app@outlook.com so we can take appropriate action.

10. International Data Transfers

The L-Go App may store and process data on servers located outside your country of residence. This is due to the use of Firebase services, which operate through secure data centers in various international regions.

By creating an account or using the App, you acknowledge and agree that your data may be transferred and maintained on servers located in other countries, which may have different data protection laws than your own.
Regardless of location, we rely on trusted service providers and apply reasonable safeguards to protect your information.

If required by applicable law, we will take additional steps to ensure appropriate protection during any international data transfers.

11. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect new features, legal requirements, or changes in how we handle data. When updates occur, we will notify users through an in-app notice and, when appropriate, by email.

The updated version will take effect as soon as it is published in the App. Continued use of the App after any changes means that you accept the revised Policy.
