I am a senior at Texas Woman's University graduating with a Bachelors of Science in Health Studies in May of 2019. I am currently working as a Health Education Intern at Denton County Public Health conducting quantitative and qualitative research into health literacy and the advancement of health equity. My previous experience includes working as the Advocacy Intern at United Way Denton County, conducting state-level legislative advocacy for mental and behavioral health, homelessness, Veterans, and education and workforce development. I am aspiring to work in health education/promotion and public health policy in the future!
