The Constitution of the
Kyushu University Alumni Association of the Philippines (Kyōdaikai)
The name of the organization shall be the Kyushu University Alumni Association of the Philippines (Kyōdaikai) hereinafter referred to as "the Association".
The Association of Kyushu University Alumni of the Philippines seeks to unite the alumni of Kyushu University in the Philippines irrespective of their backgrounds and fields. Members of the Kyushu University Alumni Association of the Philippines serve as ambassadors for the development of the long-term connections between universities, institutes, research centers, companies, and other public and private entities in the Philippines where they are employed and Kyushu University, Japan. To this end, the association facilitates the development of a network of relationships that will serve as a platform for personal and professional growth and expand opportunities for scientific, academic, social, and cultural cooperation between Kyushu University and the educational, research, and other public and private institutions in which the members are employed. In addition, the association functions as an information hub for young Filipino researchers, scholars, professionals, and other graduates of Kyushu University in the Philippines for educational, research, and professional opportunities available at other institutions as well as provides guidance to scholars and students studying or about to study in Kyushu University.

Kyushu University Alumni Association of the Philippines (Kyōdaikai) fosters camaraderie based on our common educational heritage as Kyushu University alumni, harmony, bayanihan, mutual respect, and ikigai for its members.
Vision:
The Kyushu University Alumni Association of the Philippines (Kyōdaikai) fosters a lifelong, harmonious community of active alumni in the Philippines who establish continuous and effective relations between themselves and their respective institutions and Kyushu University to strengthen scientific, academic, social, and cultural cooperation between the Philippines and Japan.
Mission:
The Association of Kyushu University Alumni of the Philippines connects alumni with each other, with their respective educational, research, and other public and private institutions in the Philippines, and with Kyushu University, Japan through impactful and meaningful programs and academic, social, cultural, research, and scientific activities, including networking opportunities and events; involvement in voluntary and philanthropic engagements to support causes that reflect Kyōdaikai values; provide mutual support and exchange of knowledge between the members; celebrate the accomplishments of its alumni; and enhance the impact of Kyushu University values, achievements, and continued excellence.
Objectives:
1. Develop and maintain a strong relationship between Kyushu University and alumni in the Philippines and between Filipino and foreign alumni of Kyushu University in the Philippines reflective of the university’s values, achievements, and excellence;
2. Establish a harmonious community of engaged alumni of Kyushu University in the Philippines with a sense of belongingness achieved through mutual contribution and cooperation with each other and with Kyushu University;
3. Provide Kyōdaikai members with the opportunity to educate and promote mutual scientific, legal, social, and other fields of research between Kyushu University researchers in Japan and Kyushu University alumni researchers in the Philippines and provide an environment of increased scientific and social interaction between them;
4. Organize community service; cultural, social, and entrepreneurial events that benefit members’ interests; regular meetings; seminars, trainings, and other activities that promote exchange of expertise; and continuing educational, scientific, social, artistic, legal, and academic education, and such other events and activities that encourage the development of Kyushu University alumni talents and support professional and personal development;
5. Offer voluntary opportunities, where necessary or upon request, to assist alumni in their issues, concerns, aspirations, and challenges relevant to the vision and mission of Kyōdaikai;
6. Promote Kyushu University and the scholarships available in the university for qualified Filipinos and provide potential students and scholars with the requisite information for accommodation, transportation, and other data, alumni connection, practical tips, and available resources to apply, study, and transition to student life in Kyushu university;
7. Maintain a continuously updated and reliable database of all Kyushu University alumni in the Philippines;
8. Contribute to improve mutual understanding between the Philippines and Japan; and
9. Develop collaborative relationships and friendships with other alumni association of Kyushu University in other countries;
Admissions Requirements
Undergraduate, postgraduate, and doctoral students who graduated from Kyushu University who are based in the Philippines or based abroad but have Filipino citizenship.
