Kymani McPherson, a Media Composer, 18, living in London.

Whilst currently studying Music Production, work completed is a mixture of assignment -based projects and self-directed projects, as a step toward becoming a professional film composer. With little classical music training, I dedicate my time building my theory and composing knowledge, putting it into practice by composing music, coming up with musical concepts and themes to use in my work alongside studying.

I work and create out of my bedroom studio, with my Macbook Pro (2021) and Mac . I make use of bought equipment, such as a Condenser Microphone for recording and sampling live sounds, making use of samplers in my DAW to create new samples.

I work between my 84 key Electric piano (Gear4Music DP-6) and Kontakt Midi Keyboard (KOMPLETE KONTROL M32), for inputting to my DAW - Logic Pro X (Latest version) and practicing my instrument - Piano.

Over the past couple of years, I have invested in a few key libraries that I use across my work as well as many free VSTs.
