Perspective: This game is a 2D top down perspective where the player will view the game world from above. This means the assets will be flat and designed without depth perception(z-axis). The camera will follow the player as the player traverses the world, ensuring the gameplay area always feels centered and there are no dramatic changes in viewpoint.

Story Summary: In a world where danger lurks at every leaf and twig, a small insect is born amidst the chaos of a sprawling ecosystem. This creature must navigate through a large world of predators and dangerous terrain. Fueled by a primal urge to survive and evolve, it embarks on a quest to scavenge food. As the creature grows, so does its determination to ascend the food chain and reign supreme as the ultimate apex predator. Every encounter is a test of endurance and resilience. The odds are stacked against you, can you defy nature and rise to power in a brutal world? Are you ready to embrace the challenge and seize your destiny?
Gameplay Summary: Explore a vast, procedurally generated world, where every encounter is a test of survival. Dash across treacherous terrain, devour waste of insects and consume smaller insects as a food source while outmaneuvering larger foes in order to claim your place at the top of the food chain. As you gather food, you gain currency: DNA. This resource can be used to upgrade your core stats: speed, health, stamina and dash OR use it to evolve into a bigger insect. Upgrade wisely to become a fearsome predator, obliterating everything in your path.

Players navigate this environment while avoid environmental hazards and predatory creatures. Players can consume creatures and their waste to collect DNA, with DNA amounts varying based on type of creature consumed and volume. The DNA is a resource that players can spend to upgrade core stats(speed, health, stamina) or evolve into a bigger form of insect, offering a risk/reward based on what upgrades the player chooses.
