Towns without representational district maps may have multiple districts for the purpose of polling locations, but if all members of the local government are elected at-large, then these districts are logistical and not representational. Some towns have representational districts for their primary government (such as Town Council) and others have representational districts for their secondary government (such as Representative Town Meeting).
