Every Saturday the Downtown Phoenix Farmers Market is open on 5th Street and McKinley. Thousands of individuals make their way to this location on Saturdays to purchase products from small business owners from all over the Phoenix area. While photographing the farmers market, I was able to see first hand the community the farmers market creates.  Everyone was so cheerful and excited to be there and enjoying every aspect of the experience.  Illustrating the experience a individual would experience when attending this event was the main goal within my slideshow. Showcasing the friendly faces and community the vendors created carried over to customers that lined the streets all morning.  My hope is that people may see these images and understand the importance of events like the farmers market in Phoenix, because it brings together a community from all over the state that normally would not come together without a event like this. 

Phoenix is a beautiful location with many great amenities and places to go. Many downtown locations get a bad reputation for being dirty or a place families would not go, however, Downtown Phoenix is not one of these places. Everywhere you look, there is another beautiful site, another thing to do, or an event occurring. Within this photo sequence, I shot different type of shots to illustrate my understanding of different angles and editing techniques to create  a well taken photo shoot of Downtown Phoenix. Within this photo sequence, you will see pictures from the Arizona Center, murals, and scenery of Phoenix as a whole. Beneath each photo is also an individual description of each photo to tie the photo sequence all together.
