In the image attached you can see the 3 brushes that are not working right. On the right hand side is the mouse version. 80 Rough is really bad, I have to press really hard to even get that stroke, mostly it's just ghost strokes I can barely see.

In the picture below you can see this ghosting is still happening. When the line is most clear I am pressing down really hard with the Wacom pen. If I just use it as I do with my other brushes I get this weird ghosting effect, sometimes bits showing through other times just trasnparent. I really don't know what to do and I need these brushes to continue my illustration work.

As far as coloring goes, I do most of my coloring in Photoshop(so I use the standard hard/round PS brush for everything as well as paint bucket), but I do use a brush in CSP- texture effect(rough) to create a splotchy/grainy like texture in a lot of my background-less panels and pics; I bump up the shade enough to create a nice texture that subtlely stands out. If I do use other brushes outside of that, they mainly are "effects" brushes.

During videos, the boys use the regular hard brush with opacity control on. I use the pencil with opacity control off and size pressure on.For final pieces, I use a bunch of Kyle brushes. Mostly the Chisel Shift and Ultimate Oil Lush.

A brush that has strong anti-aliasing will have smooth and softer edge. But a brush of weak or no anti-aliasing will have a harder edge or more pixelated when zoomed in. This means that anti-aliasing will simply increase the smoothness of your brush.

-Now make a brand-new brush by clicking the box that is next to the sub tool panel and click on add from default then choose the G-pen under pen. Next, name your brush and change the brush Icon to pencil.

Thanks for sharing! I only use a few self made brushes myself. Most are based around the default hardround. I made them to either simulate paper grain or just general all around texture. Otherwise things get too smooth or digital looking.

One of my favorite uses of Phhhoto is sharing what I'm working on. Whether I'm sitting down to draw or paint I like to take a few minutes and capture the small movements of my brush or pencil. The key here is only capturing the movement in one direction, slowly, so when it loops and repeats itself the movement looks more fluid and natural.

A .TPL brush importer would be amazing at some point. I bought some of Kyle's mega brushpacks and would love if I could import them all to affinity for when I eventually cancel my adobe subscription...

+paolo.limoncelli I must try your brushes out! :) I like to work over my pencil sketches with digital pencil brushes that match the drawing well, so I can be too fussy for my own good :3 Do your pencil brushes scale well for broad strokes, whilst keeping a fine texture? Or is the texture separate with DAUB? Sorry, I'm not that knowledgeable on the affinity format yet!

Gunna try out your pencils and see how it goes, thanks :) One think that bothered me about the non tool preset brushes in photoshop was the resolution of textures and worrying about large print formats, etc.

It would be hard to understate the value of the new Brush Studio. The Brush Studio is so robust it takes up an entire screen, includes 100 new settings, a seamless texture creator, the ability to combine brushes, plus you can preview and test your brushes in the full-screen window instead of jumping in and out of the editor.

This brush pack contains three charcoal pencil-styled brushes. You can use this set to create digital sketches using the subtle grainy effect, the smooth grain, or the option with a pressure curve. These brushes closely mimic real pencils, making them perfect for creating a paper-drawn effect on your canvas.

These brushes are made with hard but organic edges in mind. The brush pack includes a liner brush with different sizes and pressure options, which is perfect for drawing shapes or when freehand drawing.

This brush has been designed specifically for making leafy foliage in a watercolor style. The brush is small and produces a pencil-like effect. Use this brush in combination with other watercolor and pencil brushes to create stunning results. The brush is based on a brush from another designer called Pesi, who designed the next brush pack below.

There are four watercolor brushes with different hardness levels, including blurry, soft, medium, and hard. There are also five sketch brushes, including a fine G-pen, a rough G-pen, a transparent rough pen, a marker tip, and a pencil-like tip. This brush set is perfect for adding to your collection, especially when creating a comic and anime-styled artwork. e24fc04721
