How To Break School Management!

Method 1 - Certificates

Description: For this method, we have to turn off the safety of the extension so that Google will prevent any pop-up page not safe from popping off. It does come at a price though of not being able to access websites such as I-Ready or Clever and many more websites. After doing this you will not be able to go back that easily. You might have to REMOVE YOUR ACCOUNT FROM THE DEVICE and add it back on.

Method 2 - Bookmarklets

Description: Just turn off the extension. No strings attached other than the return of ads. After doing this you will be able to go back easier than before. GoGuardian is not able to see you, and it isn't there to stop you. There are multiple ways to do this. NOTE: AFTER TURNING THE COMPUTER OFF IT WILL TURN BACK ON.

Method 3 - Powerwashing

Description: This is a serious one that might get you in trouble. Be warned, There is no going back after this. Factory resetting a Chromebook and turning verification off is something only an idiot would do! Yes, it gets rid of everything including managed Chromebook settings, but it'll alert any admin and that won't be good. It'll be like a brand-new Chromebook! This is for Chromebooks only!

Method 4 - Un-Enroll Chromebook ⚠

Description: This one is special. This one will allow you to do anything a normal Chromebook could do. This can free you from school management. WARNING IF YOU DO THIS INCORRECTLY IT CAN BRICK YOUR ENTIRE COMPUTER MAKING IT NO BETTER THAN A BRICK! If Crosh is blocked on your computer by extensions then follow Method 5 before continuing.

Method 5 - Puzzle Pieces

Description: So you are going to want to downgrade to anything under v100 of Chrome for this to work. Basically, it temporarily disables spyware extensions meaning you can do anything spyware would block. If you want it to last, try not to leave it unattended for too long as it will resume downloading in the background. When I say you need to be Super tentative about it I mean logging in once a day and keeping Chrome busy.

Method 6 - Permanently Remove Extensions

Description: This exploit details another way to permanently delete extensions. Once done, you can update or restart your Chromebook and the extensions will stay gone until you Method 3.

Method 7 - Bypass User Policies!!!

Description: This method should be done AT HOME! This will allow you to get rid of school set policies meaning anything schools block. For this you will need to access your WiFi router settings... At Home.
