Step-by-step:
You can either downgrade your Chromebook to v91, v101, or v87 Learn more
Open Crosh | Ctrl + Alt + T
Run the command set_cellular_ppp \';bash;exit;\' - You will now have a ChronOS shell!
Run bash <(curl https://coolelectronics.me/unroll)
Wait for script to finish then powerwash your computer.
Go into Dev Mode | ESC + REFRESH + POWER | CTRL + D | ENTER | POWER |
Go into Crosh
Type in shell
Then type sudo vpd -i RW_VPD -s check_enrollment=1
Powerwash once more
Run sh <(curl https://yeo.glitch.me/root/91.sh)
NOTE: After a few moments you will be given a root shell, be very careful with this as you can easily brick your Chromebook doing the wrong thing, when you are in this shell make sure to use only one of these commands:
Use vpd -i RW_VPD -s check_enrollment=0 to unenroll your Chromebook
Use vpd -i RW_VPD -s check_enrollment=1 to reenroll your Chromebook
NOTE: These commands are safe to run and will not damage the vpd nor alert your school's admin
After you run these commands you just need to powerwash (method 3) your Chromebook.
You will need to already be in developer mode. To go into dev mode:
Press Esc + Refresh ↻ + Power ⏻ (This will take you to Recovery Mode)
In Recovery Mode press Ctrl + D two times
Now wait a few seconds and it should begin the transfer into dev mode (This process will take about 7 minutes)
Once in dev mode, all local data will be erased. Make sure to backup anything valuable beforehand in google drive or on a flash drive.
The original startup screen will be shown as if you have just bought the device, what you want to do now is NOT CLICK THE ENROLLMENT BUTTON, but instead press Ctrl + Alt + Forward ➜ (right arrow on the top row of your keyboard) this will bring up the dev console when it asks for a username type in root this will give you a root shell, now to reenroll use the enrollment command:
vpd -i RW_VPD -s check_enrollment=1
Once you use the command, leave the developer shell using Ctrl + Alt + Back ⬅. Then simply shut off your Chromebook then turn it back on. Once the "OS Verification is off" screen pops up, press the spacebar. You are now re-enrolled.
Run bash <(curl https://coolelectronics.me/unroll)
Wait for script to finish then powerwash your computer.
Go into Dev Mode | ESC + REFRESH + POWER | CTRL + D | ENTER | POWER |
Go into Crosh
Type in shell
Then type sudo vpd -i RW_VPD -s check_enrollment=1
Powerwash once more
