Paper is formatted in LaTeX using any suitable .tex file editor. For those who are new to LaTeX, we suggest using the free online editor Overleaf.
When preparing your paper, you should use the provided .tex template.
The paper must be written without spelling and stylistic errors and without errors in terminology. The content must be structured and the results of the author(s)' research should be clearly presented.
Length: 4 to 10 pages (appendices and abstract in another language do not count towards the paper's length, see template).
If you notice any errors or inaccuracies while working with the template, please write to us at kau.scientific.conference@gmail.com with a description of the problems that have arisen.
We will promptly correct the templates and upload their updated versions to the conference website.
01.04.2025 - 14:05 Kyiv time - Updated UKR and ENG templates, fixed a bug with displaying email addresses.
The main requirement for participating as a speaker is to submit an article which is formatted according to the template, which clearly states the content of the author(s)' research and presents their own results.
The following will not be accepted:
Works of an abstract-review nature, without presenting the author's result.
Works most likely generated by AI, without original thoughts and research from the authors themselves.
The mandatory requirements for consideration of the paper are:
Providing the results of the anti-plagiarism check (see the "Registration" tab).
Donation of an amount of 100 UAH or more for a fundraise for the Armed Forces of Ukraine, supported by the administration of Kyiv Academic University (see the "Registration" tab).
The decision whether to accept the article for the conference will be determined by the result of anonymous review. Authors will be notified of the results of the review and will be sent feedback and corrections from the reviewers (see the "Important Dates" tab).
Participation will be counted only if the speaker delivers an oral online presentation according to the conference schedule (it will be announced a week before the conference, see "Important Dates" tab).
Speech duration is 10 min, additional 5 min are allotted for the audience questions.
We respect yours and our time, so during the conference schedule will be followed strictly. In case of exceeding the time limit the section host will have to stop the speech.
Based on the results of the conference, a collection of papers will be published in electronic format.
Negotiations on assigning DOI for each paper from the collection are underway.
