While Antarctica is facing various challenges due to climate change and global warming, SAEF would like to deliver the protection message and improve the young generation's awareness of protecting Antarctica’s environment. Therefore, this project is to design an
in-office exhibition to be placed in the lobby of their office targeting primary school children, and the general community. The exhibition will mainly that exhibition will be able to become a pop-up exhibition at schools in the future.
The project began with site visits, and meetings with the client to determine the preference and main concept that the client would like to bring out in the exhibition. Then, research and inspiration were occupied for the stage of concept development.
Keep Ice Alive - Real Moss Display
Two teams were working on this project including interior design and multimedia design. I was working as an interior designer who would focus on spatial design by modeling 2D, and 3D layouts of existing offices, brainstorming, sketching, and designing the new construction. Additionally, I also modelled the 3D holographic and animations for the multimedia team. Besides those tasks, I also had to follow up on the working progress of other multimedia team members for weekly meetings with the project managers and the client.
The project was successfully submitted before the deadline and received satisfactory feedback from SAEF. The exhibition is scheduled for construction at the end of 2024.
