Hi, I’m Ky! I’m an MEP Engineer, and multimedia designer with a background in building services engineering & environmental management. My journey in the design industry has been driven by a passion for creating spaces that not only delight the senses but also prioritize user experience and practicality. With a repertoire of soft skills including the ability to thrive under pressure, effective time management, creativity, collaboration, and clear communication, I bring a holistic approach to every project I undertake.
During my two years working in Melbourne as an exhibition designer, I honed my exhibition design skills, creating impactful spaces like the World War II Exhibition Hall, Built-in and Pop-up Exhibition for SAEF, and the Bush Fire Emergency Shelter in Victoria. These experiences instilled in me a keen understanding of spatial dynamics and the importance of environmental considerations in design. Before diving into spatial design, I spent three years as an MEP drafter and fire engineer. This experience, working across continents on projects like the Hong Kong International Airport, Lusail Plaza Tower in Qatar, and the Lego Group Manufacturing facility in Vietnam.
Working alongside diverse teams and clients from Australia, China, Hong Kong, Qatar, the U.K., and Vietnam has enriched my collaborative skills and global perspective. Additionally, my construction background gives me a strong ability to apply critical thinking to swiftly resolve challenges that arise during the design process. I am continuously enhancing my design skills to push the boundaries of innovation and create iconic designs with a lasting impression.
My journey reflects a deep commitment to excellence, sustainability, and innovative design. I'm eager to keep growing and contributing meaningfully to the evolution of spatial and construction design and shaping environments that inspire and endure.
