The Kentucky Convergence Conference Planning Committee is made up of dedicated educators, instructional designers, and innovators who bring a wealth of experience and perspective to the conference each year. Representing both the Kentucky Community and Technical College System and four-year institutions from across the Commonwealth of Kentucky, these committee members collaborate to shape a conference that reflects the evolving landscape of education and technology. Their collective expertise and commitment help ensure that Convergence continues to serve as a premier space for sharing ideas, fostering connections, and advancing innovation in teaching and learning.
At the heart of Brooke’s career is a genuine love for people and a mission to help them grow. With a background in sport management and nonprofit leadership, she arrived at instructional design through the lens of human connection rather than the traditional academic path. This perspective defines her approach to learning and technology.
In her role as an Instructional Designer at Eastern Kentucky University, Brooke helps faculty connect their expertise with thoughtful design and the tools necessary to create engaging learning experiences. Her goal is to make pedagogy and technology feel like second nature, empowering educators to focus on their meaningful work without the overwhelm. She is honored to serve on the conference committee and looks forward to creating a space where every attendee feels welcomed, equipped, and inspired.
Deloris Foxworth is an instructional designer for the Martin-Gatton College of Agriculture, Food and Environment and a part-time instructor at the University of Kentucky. She started her career at UK as a full-time lecturer in the School of Information Science and then became an academic advisor in the College of Communication and Information before taking on her current role. Prior to UK, Deloris spent two years as a technology trainer for a public library and three years as a full-time communication instructor at Kentucky State University.
Brandon has several years of experience in higher education, with a background spanning information technology, teaching, and academic program leadership. He has supported and implemented a variety of instructional and administrative technologies while working closely with faculty, staff, and students. In his current role at Jefferson Community and Technical College, he serves as Academic Program Coordinator and Assistant Professor in Computer Information Technologies, where he focuses on program development, student success, and integrating emerging technologies into the classroom.
Jolena has dedicated her career to creating authentic, engaging learning experiences for learners of all ages and stages of life. Her expertise is informed by years of service across K-12 classrooms, adult education centers, and corporate training environments, ensuring that pedagogical strategy meets the needs of every student. She leverages this breadth of experience in her current role as an instructional designer at Eastern Kentucky University, where she partners with faculty to design inclusive, high-impact digital environments that bridge the gap between complex theory and practical, technical execution.
Kyle has worked in higher education for over 25 years. He has evaluated, deployed, and supported a wide variety of classroom and educational technologies. He currently administers and supports the Learning Management System for the University of Kentucky.
