The Kentucky Convergence Conference Planning Committee is made up of dedicated educators, instructional designers, and innovators who bring a wealth of experience and perspective to the conference each year. Representing both the Kentucky Community and Technical College System and four-year institutions from across the Commonwealth of Kentucky, these committee members collaborate to shape a conference that reflects the evolving landscape of education and technology. Their collective expertise and commitment help ensure that Convergence continues to serve as a premier space for sharing ideas, fostering connections, and advancing innovation in teaching and learning.
Brandon has several years of experience in higher education, with a background spanning information technology, teaching, and academic program leadership. He has supported and implemented a variety of instructional and administrative technologies while working closely with faculty, staff, and students. In his current role at Jefferson Community and Technical College, he serves as Academic Program Coordinator and Assistant Professor in Computer Information Technologies, where he focuses on program development, student success, and integrating emerging technologies into the classroom.
Jolena has dedicated her career to creating authentic, engaging learning experiences for learners of all ages and stages of life. Her expertise is informed by years of service across K-12 classrooms, adult education centers, and corporate training environments, ensuring that pedagogical strategy meets the needs of every student. She leverages this breadth of experience in her current role as an instructional designer at Eastern Kentucky University, where she partners with faculty to design inclusive, high-impact digital environments that bridge the gap between complex theory and practical, technical execution.
Kyle has worked in higher education for over 25 years. He has evaluated, deployed, and supported a wide variety of classroom and educational technologies. He currently administers and supports the Learning Management System for the University of Kentucky.
