Call for Proposals
Call for Proposals
In-person Conference | November 5-6, 2026
Virtual Pre-Session | November 4, 2026
The Kentucky Convergence Conference invites educators, instructional designers, and innovators to submit proposals for our upcoming conference. For 25 years, Convergence has been the Commonwealth’s premier crossroads for innovation. As we celebrate our silver anniversary, we aren't just looking at the tech, we’re celebrating the people who make the magic happen. Join us as we bridge the gap between digital interfaces and human connection, reflecting on years of innovation while designing the next chapter of education.
Every homecoming starts with reconnection. This track explores how we foster deep, authentic relationships in online and hybrid spaces. We invite proposals that share practical strategies for building community, humanizing course design, and maintaining the "human" at the center of the digital experience.
While we honor our history, we are always building the future. This track showcases the tools and methodologies pushing the boundaries of what is possible. We are looking for "how-to" sessions on AI integration, interactive LTIs, and creative course architecture, the building blocks of our next 25 years.
Everyone has a seat at the table when it comes to learning. This track addresses strategies for supporting diverse learners and ensuring digital equity. We invite proposals on accessibility, UDL, and information literacy that ensure learners of all backgrounds feel they truly belong in our digital spaces.
From the high-level view, we see how far we’ve come and where we need to go. This track focuses on navigating the shifting tides of educational policy and institutional change. We seek proposals that offer frameworks for leadership, advocacy, and managing the complexities of modern education.
A 25-year milestone is built on the dedication of people. This track is dedicated to the educators and professionals who have shown up year after year. Sessions focus on professional development, mentorship, and the reflective practices that prevent burnout and sustain a lasting career in education.
Kick off our Homecoming celebration with our exclusive virtual track on Wednesday, November 4. We welcome any proposals that help distance learning educators and administrators move our community forward.
Educating a student truly takes a village, and we are eager to hear from every corner of that community. We invite proposals from across the educational landscape, including Instructional Designers and Educational Technologists, Information Technology and LMS Administrators, and Academic or School Librarians. We also highly encourage submissions from K-12 and Higher Education Faculty, as well as the Student Support Professionals and Administrative Staff who keep our institutions running.
To submit, please complete the proposal form, and our program committee will reach out to with any questions or next steps.
