• Information Technology and Log-ins:  Information Technology  Refer to Login and Email document which will be sent in a seperate email. 

• Viewpoint Screening:  Platform to upload your immunizations and complete your background check    Student Health

• Degree Confirmation Transcript

• Secure Housing:  Housing

• Secure Financial Aid:  Financial Aid

  • Submit FAFSA

  • Submit your Student Information Sheet to Admissions so Financial Aid can process your financial package. 

• Login Information: Information Technology 

You should have received your UPike email information in the onboard email.    Once you receive it please begin checking it on a regular basis.  If you have any trouble logging on please wait 24 hours and try again.  After 24 hours if you still can't log on please send an email to helpdesk@upike.edu.

• UPIKE Email: Information Technology 

You will have access to your UPIKE email address first and access to the Learning Management Systems later. Log into your UPIKE email using the address http://mail.office365.com and it will direct you to your UPIKE email.  Your UPIKE email address will be the email address used in the med2029 email list serve and your UPIKE email is where ALL correspondence will take place. PLEASE log on to your UPIKE email and begin checking it regularly to get in a good habit now. I would also appreciate an email sent to me verifying your use of the UPIKE email address. • Immunizations: Student Health 

Immunizations are a vital part of the matriculation process.  Attached in the Student Health Section is a document that contains a chart of the KYCOM requirements along with a schedule of the shots, titers (if needed), and explanation of each immunization.  We encourage you to begin this process as soon as possible due to the possibility of having to redo some immunizations because of lack of immunity like Hep B.  Please begin gathering your immunization documents and have a Hep B titer drawn.   Please refer to the Student Health tab and the instructions to log into Viewpoint Screening to upload all immunizations, physical and request a background check. 

• Physical and Health Insurance: Student Health 

You are required to have a physical examination.  Attached in the Student Health section is a blank UPike physical exam document for your healthcare provider.  Please upload this onto Viewpoint Screening. 

You also must have personal health insurance.  

• Background Check: Student Health 

Viewpoint Screening is the company we use to conduct and maintain your background check information.   Refer to the Student Health tab. 

Once you have your immunization documents along with Hep B titer and your physical form you will need to upload it to Viewpoint Screening.   

***The deadline to have this entire process complete is  July 1, 2025.

This is where you should introduce yourself with an opening message and get to know your fellow classmates. You may even find a roommate here. Everyone in the group is part of KYCOM. I will also post housing opportunities on the site as they come to me.

• Final Transcripts/Prerequisites

As soon as you receive your 'Degree Confirmation Transcript' please email it to Jennifer Lockhart at jenniferlockhart@upike.edu  

If you sent your Degree Confirmation Transcript with your application you DO NOT have to send it again.  This is only for students who are graduating this spring or soon after they have applied.  

It is your responsibility to ensure you have completed all of your prerequisites prior to the first day of class.
