*Two Year Time-Skip From New Girl Story-Line* September

Kyamyi:17

Gaara:18

Gaara's POV

    I knew she probably wouldn't take me back, but that's not the worst case scenario, that would be if she had already settled down with another man. It's true I didn't want her to wait for me, but I cant help but hope that if there is nobody else then I'll have a bigger chance of getting her back.

    So now, I'm walking with Naruto to reunite myself with with the girl I'm in love with, not knowing if she still shares the same love with me. Naruto was the best choice to bring along, we had a whole plan set out based on what she has done with her life. If she was single and happy, or if she had moved on with someone else then Naruto would tell her I had died; on the other hand if she was single and depressed about me leaving, then Naruto was to present me to her. We were almost there and I couldn't help but get a little nervous. Naru and I went over the plan once more before we entered the village gates. When we were done I took one step into the village wanted to turn back, but I didn't, I had to know.

    I hid on the side of her house by a window, luckily it was open so I could hear what they would be saying. Naruto knocked on the door, a few seconds later and there was a squeal of glee. They hugged and Kyamyi invited him inside. They started a conversation and then I heard someone else come into the room. The blood ran out of my face when the person spoke... the voice sounded male. then I heard Naru speak.

"Kyamyi I have to tell you something about Gaara..." I stopped listening I knew what else he would say. Tears clouded my vision as I fell to the ground, that's it, I'm dead to her now, she can move on with her life. I listened to them inside the house once again, Kyamyi was full out sobbing and the other male was comforting her, I listened to his voice  to make sure he wasn't anybody I knew -I wouldn't feel to good if it was Kiba- I was surprised when I recognized his voice but I couldn't put my finger on it, I thought back.

"He was.... too young.. Bin... too.... young." Kyamyi got out between her sobs.

    My eyes widened, she said Bin as in Binsu, her brother Binsu. I ran around the house and through the door, as soon as I was in the house I spotted Naru and hit him over the head. "That's her brother, baka!"

    Everything was silent, even Naruto. Binsu glared at me and Kyamyi's face was twisted in an odd, confused and surprised look.

"What kind of sick game are you playing, Gaara?" Binsu broke the silence.

"If you'll just let me explain." I looked at Kyamyi, her face was still the same, she didn't seen like she was looking at me, she was looking at something past me and her mouth stayed open Jeike, the all white cat I got her for her birthday which seemed like so many years ago, was sitting on her shoulder, sniffing her face. "Kyamyi are you okay?" I moved towards her, but Jeike hissed at me and Binsu blocked me and went to her aid first.

    He picked her up gently and cradled her in his arms, her face still unchanging. "Stay here, we've got to talk." He told me, then he took Kyamyi upstairs, Jeike followed behind on foot. Naruto decided to step outside before he returned so I was left all alone. He came back empty handed and he sat in a chair. "Sit." He ordered me and pointed to the chair directly across from him, I did what he told me, not wanting to start anymore trouble. "You might want to start explaining yourself now."

"Naruto and I had a plan, if Kyamyi had found someone else... if she had moved on then I would detach myself from her." I gritted my teeth.

"By saying you died? That wouldn't have worked even if she had found someone and was deeply in love with them, she would never forget about you."

"I shouldn’t have come back." I looked down at my hands.

"No. You shouldn’t have left."

"It's not my fault, really, I had to go, there was no other choice." I insisted.

"You could've left on better terms." He clenched his jaw. "Lets stop talking about what you could've and should have done, lets talk about what you did do." I swallowed. "You left my sister in pieces and it took forever to help her put herself back together again. She still wasn't fully healed today, and now I think you broke her all over again."

"I-I didn't know it was that bad." I whispered.

"That bad? Gaara, for two weeks after you left about all she did was cry and sleep, she couldn't keep any solid foods down and she didn't come out of her room."

"If you're trying to make me feel bad no need, I'm already sick with myself."

"I'm not trying to make you feel bad, I'm just telling you what you missed."

    Soft footsteps sounded from the stairs, at first I thought it might be Kyamyi, but it was her mother.

"Hi Gaara-San, Kyamyi would like to see you."

    I stood. "Is she feeling better?"

"Go see for yourself." She said in a soft voice, her eyes showed me sympathy.

    I nodded and walked past her up the stairs. Kyamyi's room, the first door on the left, was slightly ajar. I grabbed the doorknob and pushed the door open; she was there, sitting on the bed, knees to her chest, holding herself together, Jeike sat beside her. She didn't look at me when I came in, I shut the door behind me and stood, waiting for her to say something, Jeike kept cautious eyes on me, his fur prickling. I got a good look at her, she was still beautiful, the same Kyamyi, except now her hair was past her shoulders. When she did say something I was surprised at how broken she sounded. "How would you feel if I had found someone else?" She smoothed her cats’ fur.

"You heard our conversation?" She nodded. "I'd feel horrible and depressed."

"Then why come back?"

"I had to know... I had to see if you were happy."

"And?"

"You don't seem happy."

"You can leave now." Her eyes clenched shut and her voice broke, she was going to cry.

"Kyamyi..." My first instinct was to go comfort her but she stopped me.

"I want to be left alone now."

"But-"

"Please, Gaara!" I flinched at how sharp her voice was, but I did what I was told and I left her alone. When I stepped out in the hall and closed her door I was startled by her older sister Kotoni. She smirked at me.

"Hi Gaara-Sama." She purred and fluttered her eyelashes

"Hello." I  grimaced at her tone, it was too flirty.

"Oh, I haven't seen you in so long, you've grown so much." Her hand reached up to touch my arm but I moved; she pouted. "What are you doing hanging out with Debbie Downer?"

"None of your business."

"Fair enough." She sighed. "Well, I just came to tell you my mom invited you to dinner."

"I can't-"

"Your blonde friend already agreed to stay, you can't just leave him here all alone. And you can keep me company too." She giggled and skipped off to her bedroom. I sighed and turned to trudge down the stairs. I walked to the kitchen and was greeted by Naruto and the eldest female in the house.

"Hey Gaara, she said we can stay for dinner." His eyes brightened.

"I know." I frowned. "And that's why I'm here to decline."

"But I haven't had a home-cooked meal in forever!"

"Not my problem. Our business here is done, we can leave."

"Oh please Gaara-San, stay for dinner; you're too skinny, how do you think will you grow up to be a nice strong man and be able to protect my Kyamyi?" Her tone and expression was innocent.

    I couldn't bring myself to argue with Kyamyi's mother. "What time is dinner?" I sighed.

"Hmm lets see, six people... I estimate about an hour." She grinned.

"Fine." I turned and walked out the front door to go sit outside.

A|N: Sooo how did you like the first chapter? It took me a long time to think this up but I did it :3

So what do you think of Gaara's plan? Will Kyamyi Take him back before Kotoni sinks her claws in him? What's for dinner? Lol, you might find the answer to most of the questions in the next chapter.

Touch Him, I Dare You

Gaara's POV

"Gaara-Sama? Are you out here?" Kotoni came out of the house and looked around in the dark. When she spotted me she grinned. "There you are! Dinner is ready." She walked over to me grabbed my hand, pulled me into the house, dragged me into the large dining room, and sat me down right next to her. Everyone else was already seated. Mrs. Kessho and Binsu were at both ends of the table, Kyamyi was directly across from me with Naruto next to her in front of Kotoni. They all started eating when we sat down. I picked up my chopsticks and pushed my food around the plate, nibbling at a piece here and there. I glanced across the table at Kyamyi, she ate like it was a burden.

    Kotoni caught me looking at her sister and there was a glint in her eyes as her hand went to my thigh. I flinched at her touch but her hand remained. "So Gaara, when did you get back?"

"About a month ago." I picked up her hand and placed it on her own leg, that didn't help, she just held onto my hand.

"And you're just now coming to visit me?" She  pouted.

"I didn't come for you." I muttered. I glanced at Kyamyi again, she wasn't paying any attention to our conversation.

"Well I guess I can forgive you since you had good reason." She sighed and thankfully let go of my hand. I looked at her questioningly. She looked into my eyes and smirked. "I heard you were appointed Kazekage."

    I did a double take, and Naruto spit out what ever was in his mouth, he quickly apologized to Kotoni who looked annoyed when a few droplets landed on her arm. "How did you know that?" The blonde ninja asked. I shared his surprise, it was supposed to be a secret until next month, the fact that she knew, meant one of the ninja in Suna was not that trustworthy, I'd have to fix that later.

"Oh, you know, I heard it around." She flipped her thick black hair back and smiled.

"Is this true, Gaara-San?" Mrs. Kessho asked.

"Yes, Ma'am." I nodded.

"Well congratulations!"

"Although, it's not publicly official until next month, so you'll have to keep it a secret."

"Of course." She seemed delighted with the idea of knowing something so important.

"Congratulations, Gaara." Binsu said and Kyamyi just nodded at me.

    The rest of the meal was eaten in silence. Naruto had asked for seconds before I was halfway done with my first plate. When we were all done with the food and the desert that I didn't eat, Mrs. Kessho took our plates into the kitchen, Kyamyi found her way up to her bedroom and I was just about to say my goodbyes when Mrs. Kessho emerged from the kitchen and interrupted me.

"I will not allow you two to travel this late."

"It's fine, really." I wanted to get out of there as soon as I could.

 "I wont hear it. We have three guest rooms and when will we ever have another chance to get any use out of them?"

"Somebody will come along one day." I smiled.

"Yes, but thats one day this is now."She argued.

    Once again I couldn't say no to her. I closed my eyes, took a deep breath, and when I opened them I looked at Naruto, his eyes were pleading with me. "We leave in the morning." I told him.

"Alright!" He exclaimed.

    Kotoni grabbed my hand and pulled me towards the stairs. "You can have the room across from mine!" She giggled.

    It turns out the guest room across from Kotoni's bedroom is the same room right next to Kyamyi's room. Her door was open when we passed she looked at us then got up to close the door. I frowned and thanked Kotoni for escorting me to the room before she skipped off to her own room. I sighed and closed my door. I went to go sit on the bed, I thought about all the events that had happened today, my response to everything was that I shouldn't have come. Binsu said Kyamyi was recovering, maybe if I had stayed away, maybe she could have found another love.

    Kyamyi’s words from two years ago echoed in my head, they gave me a headache so I decided to rest my eyes, I turned off the lights, maybe I could even get some sleep.

“Don’t come back."

Kyamyi's POV

    I wouldn't tell Kotoni that he's my spirit mate. I wouldn't tell Gaara that because he's my spirit mate, and that we were linked, I could never find another.  I'd only have to fight it for one more night, then he will leave, and maybe I could be at peace. I thought of my Aunt Mora, her husband died and she never was the same. My own mother lost her husband, and I still find her sometimes at the spot he died, sobbing heavily. I sighed and rolled over in my bed, I stared up at the ceiling. What could I do? Gaara wasn't making any real effort to be with me and my sister was playing every card she had to get into his pants, of course the thought of them together bothered me to no end but I tried not to care. I had to let go of him the way he did to me. I was thinking of a life without Gaara when tears clouded my vision and spilled over my cheeks. I rolled over again and put my face in a pillow, and let the quiet sobs rock me to sleep, Jeike curled up at my side.

    When I woke up the sun wasn't even out but I got up to go use the bathroom, Jeike following me. On my way I noticed Gaara's room was open. I pushed myself to keep walking, but I had to see him. I remembered he didn't sleep; if that hadn't changed and he saw me, I would just tell him my mom sent me to check on him. I peeked my head in the tiniest bit and my eyes widened at the sight of my sister slowly creeping up to his bedside, he was in fact, asleep. I threw the door open and my sister jumped and turned to me surprised, Gaara didn't wake up.

"What the hell do you you think you're doing?" We hissed at each other. "Mom sent me to check on him." We both said together again.

    I straightened up and narrowed my eyes. "So one of us is lying and I wanna say its you." I bluffed.

"You caught me." She smirked. "I just couldn't resist him."

"Leave him alone Kotoni, why do you bother? You know he doesn't want you."

"Really? Are you sure you're not just saying that because you know he doesn't want you?"

    I grimaced as she got even closer to him."You can't have him."

"And just why can't I?"

"Because he's mine."

    She laughed. "Didn't we just go over this? He doesn't want you."

"Kotoni, we're linked, he's my spirit mate."

    Her laugh stopped short. "Bullshit."

    I shook my head. "It's the truth."

"Prove it." she paused, waiting for me to do something, I didn't move. "Exactly, you can't... I mean you'd surely kill me if I touched him... that is, if he really is your spirit mate." She leaned in closer to him, her lips were dangerously close to his. I held my breath and froze.

    The next seconds that passed were a blur to me, Gaara was awoken and as he attempted to sit up, he banged his forehead against Kotoni's and their lips touched for a millisecond before Gaara shoved himself away from her, and with my vision going red I launched myself at her.

    She hissed curses and overtook me almost immediately, pinning me to the floor. "Come on little sis if he really is your spirit mate then you should be stronger than this. You weren't lying to me, were you?" She grinned.

    I growled and threw her off of me, her back hit the wall and I heard it as the air was knocked from her lungs. I grabbed her by the neck loose enough to breath but tight enough to hurt, she griped my arm in attempt to make me let go, but it was no use, I was too strong.

    My mom entered the room and turned on the light, she saw us and gasped, asking Gaara what had happened, he didn't answer, she left the room and came back with my brother. I ignored them all and stared into the eyes of my enemy. She was scared.

"If you ever touch him again, I will break every bone in both your hands. If you talk to him I will dislocate your jaw.  And if you so much as look at him wrong I will personally gouge your eyes out. I wont, however, kill you only because you are my blood." I dropped her then, she coughed and rubbed her neck. I went over to Gaara and grabbed his hand He looked curious as I pulled him along with me past my brother and mom, to my room. I shut the door behind us, turned on the light and sat down on my bed. He hesitantly sat next to me as I closed my eyes and took deep breaths to calm myself down.

"Gaara remember when we talked about spirit mates? It was a long time ago, back in the leaf village with Risa and Anha." I didn't open my eyes.

"Yes, you told me that if a person is a spirit mate then the gene that connects your families' spirit to an animals' spirit will be passed on to the children."

    I nodded. "I didn't tell you about linking then, did I?"

"No."

    I opened my eyes and turned my head to look into his eyes, they were soft and showed a lot of emotions including confusion. "Well spirit mates have the gene, yes, but it is sleeping until linking occurs." I paused thinking of how to phrase the next parts of his lesson. "Linking is kind of like marriage, it happens when the people both put a mark on each other."

"What kind of mark?"

"A physical mark; long ago they used to use knives and they had a whole ceremony for it, nowadays its not such a big deal because they realized love-bites worked just as well."

"So we are..."

"Yes,"

"I don’t understand, why did you attack Kotoni like that?"

"I was getting to this part." I looked down at our feet, his touched the ground while mine dangled in the air about more than halfway to the floor. "Theres some things that other females; especially females in my family, such as my sister can't get away with since we are linked. If she does things like kiss you... then that sets off a trigger inside me and I attack her, I get stronger in order to overtake her."

"And if a boy from your family has been linked with someone?"

"Same thing." I sighed it was time to wrap things up. "Gaara you must know there are some side effects to the link, but don't worry they only apply to me."

    He tilted his head. "What are they?"

    I turned my head away from him. "Since we are linked I would automatically try to protect you if you were in danger. I have a sense of where you are and how you are feeling. And I can never be with anyone else." I muttered the last part and tears welled in my eyes.

    I half expected him to give me a 'well that's to bad for you' and then walk out the door but he didn't, he curled a finger under my chin and brought my face to his then he pressed his lips to mine gently. Tears started to roll down my cheeks so he stopped the kiss to embrace me, he pulled me onto his lap and I sobbed into his chest, he didn't push me away when my tears soaked through his shirt, he didn't cover his ears when one cry became too loud, he didn't get tired of holding me. He patted my back, kissed the top of my head, and held me close.

A|N: Awww! Gaara is the bestest :3 This chapter was fun to write. I hope you liked it, Sweethearts, And if you did please:

Kyamyi's POV

We arrived at the place late at night, Gaara held my hand as we walked up to the house. He opened the door but before I could take a step inside he lifted me up and walked me pass the threshold. I looked up at him and blushed when I saw that he was gazing at me.

"So, who informed you on tradition?" My voice was quiet.

"I read about it."

He shut the door with his foot and kept me in his arms as he walked to another room. The room was a considerable size, it contained a bed, all decked out with a red canopy, it had white blankets and a slick brown head board. There were two bed-side tables, and there was a small dresser. There were two more doors on either side of the room, I guessed for a bathroom and a closet.

He set me down gently on the bed. "Are you tired?"

"Are you?" I gave a small smile

"No." He looked at the floor. "You know we don't have to if you don't want to uhm.... We can just relax."

I looked at him, I saw the worry on his face. "It's been a long day, I need to let it all sink in." I smiled. He nodded and went to go sit on the bed, back propped up on the headboard. I scooted over to join him, I rested my head on his chest and his arm wrapped around me. I heard his heart beat, it was surprisingly slow and his breathing was calm. I on the other hand was not doing to good. My heart was beating fast and my breath was short and choppy. I didn't exactly know why I was feeling uneasy, but I hoped that Gaara couldn't sense it.

After a while of silence a laugh bubbled from Gaara's lips. I looked up at him, questioning his mirth.

"It's nothing really, I just thought about all those times where we came so close but stopped because we wanted to wait until we were married; and now we're married and neither of us can make the first move."

"What if we just kiss? We can see where it goes from there." I felt the blood rush to my cheeks.

Gaara's hand went up to brush against my cheek. Like the first ever time he kissed me he searched my eyes and when he found what he was looking for his lips pressed against mine. Unlike the first time, fireworks didn't go off, a bomb blew up and destroyed every other kiss, no kiss we ever shared could compare; I could tell he put every ounce of his love into this one. After a few minutes he pulled away. We caught our breath and then started again, I entwined my fingers in his hair and he rolled on top of me. I nipped at his bottom lip, wanting entrance. He moaned then opened his mouth for my tongue to dance with his.

His lips broke away from mine again but then found their way to my collar bone. I shivered when he hitched my leg onto his hip. I pulled him closer to me, pressing my chest against his, he wrapped his arms around me. I bit my lip when his lips brushed against my jaw. He sucked and nibbled at my neck. I whimpered, he definitely left a mark. I pulled his face back up to kiss me and while he did that I helped him take off his button-up shirt. He threw it to the side and his arms went back to wrap around me. His hand found the zipper on my dress and instantly tried pulling it down but I stopped him.

He tilted his head as I scooted to the end of the bed. I kept eye contact with him as I unzipped the dress. I slipped it off my shoulders showing the straps of the red lace bra that had matching panties. I turned my back towards him as I pushed the dress down slowly and shook my hips back and forth to match a rhythm in my head. When the dress was on the floor I stepped out of it and turned back around. Gaara swallowed and his eyes were wide.

I got back onto the bed and crawled slowly over to him. I straddled his hips, while his hands went to my waist. I leaned in closer to him and I left a trail of kisses from his jugular to his lips. My hands were busy trying to unbuckle his belt, after awhile of my fumbling he reached down and took it off himself. I lifted up off of him so he could remove his pants. He was left in a pair of black boxer shorts. After he did that his hands cautiously trailed up my back to finger the lace of my bra, they were steady as he unfastened it. He slid it off my arms and tossed it to the side. I couldn't help but blush and he looked in my eyes, as if asking 'Are you okay? Can I go on?' I gave him a brief nod and his hand went to massage my right breast. I took a sharp inhale when his mouth covered my left nipple, my fingers entwined in his hair as I pulled his face closer.

He flipped over so now he was on top once again. His other hand pushed my legs apart as he situated himself between my thighs. My eyes widened as I could feel him pulsating beneath his boxers.

I blushed and closed my eyes. "G-Gaara." At the sound of my voice he moaned and pressed closer to me. I bit my lip as I felt my panties become wet, but I wouldn't have to deal with that to long because Gaara removed them with a quick and easy motion and then his hand went back to my chest. I gasped when he started grinding against me. I threw my head back and moaned. Just one item of clothing, one pair of shorts separating us from being together fully. I pulled his head up to look at me, his eyes told me he was thinking the same thing. I kissed him deeply then pulled away reluctantly, I but I knew now was the best time for this.

"Gaara," I whispered his name. His jaw clenched and his eyes shut. I felt him grow harder. I shuddered and bit my lip. I slipped my fingers beneath the waistline of his shorts, his skin was warm. I tugged at the fabric until I pulled it all the way off, I let them fall off the side of the bed.

"Kyamyi," His voice was low. "Are you absolutely sure you're ready?"

I wasn't completely paying attention to him as my eyes were trained on something else, but I broke away my stare to look into his eyes. "Gaara, I-I want you." I kissed him with deep passion, he kissed me uneasily at first, but then returned the same amount of passion. He placed the tip of his member at my entrance. I shivered and pulled him by his shoulders closer to me.

I couldn't help but gasp when he pushed the tip in gently, we both tensed, "Ky, I'm inside of you." He whispered to me, full of wonder and pleasure, this made me shiver out of realization. He gradually pushed more of himself inside of me. At about the halfway mark I couldn't hold in my cry of pleasure mixed with a bit of pain, my eyes clenched shut I nuzzled into Gaara's neck. He stopped pushing for a moment so I could adjust to the size, Then he picked up a little speed, he pulled out, and when he pushed back in he filled me a little more, I whimpered along with the motion.

He would give one last push and his length would be completely inside me filling me and then some. I realized I was holding my breath when pulled out then thrusted with great force. "Ah!" The air left my lungs quickly as he kept this up, tears threatened to spill. Each time he thrusted in, my gasp was answered with a grunt from him. He picked up speed and hitched up my right leg to rest on his hip. I picked up the rhythm after the pain died down. Now we were moving together, I was fully adjusted to his size so the only thing I felt was pleasure.

We were kissing when he flipped over so now I was on top, in a cow-girl position. I blushed but kept the rhythm going, I leaned back for a better angle, my hands griped the sheets behind me. I opened my eyes wide enough to look at Gaara's face, His eyes were clenched tight and his jaw was slack. My eyes closed again and I leaned forward so my chest was pressed against his. His arms wrapped around me. My fingers entwined in his hair and I pulled his face closer to mine to I could kiss him, our tongues shared the same rhythm as the rest of our body.

"Gaara..." I whispered.

"Ky... Kyamyi, I love you."

"Ah... I love you." I was able to get out before both of our bodies went ridged and he released inside of me. I couldn't stop the convulsions that came with my climax, and he stayed inside until I stopped twitching. He pulled out of me but I was to tired to roll off of him, so I snuggled closer to him, sighed and closed my eyes. He pulled a sheet around us - it was to hot for a full blanket - and we drifted off to sleep.

Gaara's POV

I woke up in the morning, sunlight bathed the room and I yawned. I turned on my side and searched for Kyamyi, when my hands found nothing but empty sheets my eyes fully opened and I sat up in the bed.

"Kyamyi?" I called.

Just then the bathroom door opened and my wife peeked out, I relaxed and smiled as she walked over to me wearing only my shirt and her panties.

"Morning, Gaara." She grinned and sat on the bed beside me

"Good morning." I curled my index finger under her chin and kissed her lips gently.

"I drew us a bath." She said softly when I pulled away.

"That sounds good."

"See you there." She giggled, it was a musical sound that stayed in my ears even as she left the room.

I got up from the bed and stretched and ignoring the fact that I was stark-naked, I walked into the bathroom and shut the door. Steam filled the room and I was almost sweating as I walked to the tub and lowered myself in, the water felt good and it almost reached my chest. Kyamyi found her way over to me and sat with her back to my chest between my legs. I wrapped my arms around her waist and kissed her neck as her fingers reached back and twined in my hair.

My hand trailed down to reach the spot between her hips and she shuddered, my other hand went to massage her breast. Her liquids were a different consistency than the water and I could tell she was already turned on.

"Mhm, Gaara." I began to harden. She turned around and wrapped her legs around my waist, I moaned as her hand began to stroke me. My head rested in the crook of her neck.

She grinded against my member, I clenched my jaw at her close contact. I was tired of her teasing. I lifted her up by her thighs and placed her over me; setting her down gently, I could still feel her shudder as I filled her. She was so warm, a different kind of warm than the water around us.

"Kyamyi, you're so tight." I looked at her face and saw she was blushing.

She wrapped her arms around my neck and kissed me passionately as she started to move up and down on me. I ran my tongue on her lip to ask for entrance which she didn't grant. I let a growl rumble in my chest as I bit her bottom lip. She moaned and finally opened her mouth and let her tongue dance with mine.

She started bouncing faster and sloppier, we both were close to our peak. "Gaara," she breathed. "You're so big." She moaned. I felt her tighten around me as she climaxed, I came right after her. She rested her cheek on my shoulder and I pulled out of her. She breathed heavily, as did I. After a few moments she sat up and kissed me softly. "How about breakfast?" She asked when she pulled away and I nodded. We stood up and got out of the tub, drying ourselves off. She put back on my shirt and her panties and walked out of the bathroom, I followed her with a towel around my waist. She walked to the kitchen and I walked to the bedroom and put on some boxers.

I walked to the kitchen and found Kyamyi dancing around, preparing food. I sat at the table and watched the show, she hadn't buttoned up my shirt so every now and then I caught a glimpse at her nipple. Every time she had to bend down she was sure to keep her ass in the air for me to get a good look, and she kept dropping things so she had to bend down a lot. When she was done she set a plate in front of me leaning over so I saw every inch of her chest, then she sat down across from me and started to eat. I smirked and did the same.

When we were done I picked her up and threw her over my shoulder, she squealed in glee. "So you like to tease people eh?" I slapped her ass and started to walk to the bedroom. She giggled. "Let's see how you like it." I threw her on the bed playfully. She looked at me seductively, I gave her a similar look back. I pressed my thumb against her clit with her panties still on and started rubbing small circles. She whimpered. She was already getting wet. I replaced my thumb with my tongue, doing the same small circles. I pulled her panties off and flicked my tongue against her clit. I looked up at her and found she was biting her lip.

"You're so sweet and warm Ky," I said huskily. She shivered.

I started licking up and down her folds, I grazed her clit with my teeth and she screamed a little. My tongue went inside her and she pushed my face closer, I quickly grabbed her arms and held her away. "No touching." I smirked as she furrowed her eyebrows, she was hot and bothered now. I took both of her hands and held them in one of mine, against her stomach. I used a finger from my other hand and pushed it inside of her slowly.

"G-Gaaraaa.." She moaned.

I made a slow 'come here' motion with my finger. and she tried to free her hands from my grasp, she gritted her teeth.

"More.. more." She moaned.

"Beg for it." I whispered.

"Please, Gaara, please give me more!." This time I clenched my jaw and gritted my teeth, her begging was so sexy.

I complied and gave her more, adding another finger. She started moving her hips with the rhythm and I stopped. "Don't move." I commanded, and when she was still I started moving my fingers again.

"Gaara! More, I want more, faster, please Gaara." She moaned and I couldn't take it any more, I pulled my fingers out and pulled my boxers down, she was only empty for a few seconds before I thrust in her and started a fast rhythm. "Yes! Gaara! Oh yes!" She screamed. "Right there, right there!" She moaned. "Harder, harder."

I growled and thrust harder, and her hips moved against mine I felt myself getting close. "K-Kyamyi, I'm about to come." She answered me with a moan. My thrusts got sloppier and Kyamyi started to to shake, she screamed as she came and I grunted and came right after her. I fell on her weakly and held her close pulling out of her, the last thing I did before drifting to sleep was kiss her.

Kyamyi's POV

"Are you ready Ky?" Gaara asked me.

"Almost." I said as I folded the last piece of clothing and fit it in the suit case. I closed it and started to pick it up but Gaara grabbed it before me.

"Are you sure you still want to go?" He questioned.

"Of course! I'll get to see all my old friends we'll hang out it'll be fun!" I grinned excitedly.

"Yes but I'll be in meetings most of the time and I will not allow you to do any excessive moving."

"You really think you can stop me Gaara-Kun?" I put my hands on my hips.

"Well I guess not if I can't even get you to stop calling me that." He started walking to the door I followed him.

"Exactly." He held the door open for me and I walked out. My eyes widened. "Whats this?!"

"It's a horse."

"Why do we need a horse?"

"You need a horse to ride on it; so you don't have to walk."

"But I like walking!"

"Yes, I know." He said this in his Kazekage voice, I looked him in his eyes and I saw that there was no arguing with him. I sighed as he held out his hand to help me up on the animal.

"Wow he actually did it." Temari said as she came around the corner with Kankuro and a number of other Ninja; our escorts.

"How did you get a stubborn girl like Ky to get on the horse Gaara?" Kankuro asked. "Teach me your ways, Sensai." Temari and I let out a laugh and Gaara smiled.

"I bet you told her you wouldn't buy her anymore Ramen if she didn't get on the horse." Temari teased.

"Hey! Don't give him any ideas!" I giggled.

"Yes we all know that Kyamyi is stubborn-"

"Damn straight." I said.

"But we have to get going." Gaara nodded to all the Ninja the signal for the formation, Gaara told me two days before how all this would be set up.

    Two ninja in the front, to clear the path for us; two in the back so there are no surprises from behind; two  in the trees; and of course, Kankuro and Temari would be traveling with us on the ground. Such strong forces would only be used for the Kazekage; and his wife.

"I'm bored, can I walk for a while?" I looked down at Gaara he pondered what I asked. It had been about an hour since we started. "Please Gaara?" I asked sweetly.

"Fine." Gaara said reluctantly and Kankuro snickered he stopped when Gaara and I glared at him.

"Geez Kyamyi, you're picking up some of Gaara's worst traits." I glared harder at him. "Gomen, gomen." He apologized quickly.

    Gaara stopped the horse and helped me down. I stretched and sighed in relief. "Oh how I missed you, ground."

"Well maybe you and the ground should get a room." Gaara scoffed and smirked.

"Well maybe we will. C'mon, ground." I started walking and they laughed, I turned and smiled, they started walking and caught up with me. I started humming tunelessly. My happy mood didn't last long because Gaara started getting anxious.

"Don't you feel tired?" He asked me. "Give your feet a rest." He looked at me and I saw his eyes were twinkling, he was really worried about me. I sighed and gave in to his pleads to get me on the horse.

    To pass time I remembered. When Gaara said he loved me for the first time. I remembered when we went back to my home village and I cried because I had been away for so long. When Gaara left me and more importantly when he returned and Naruto told me he had died I started sobbing, and then Gaara walked in the door and hit Naruto over the head and explained  for me later. When Gaara be came Kazekage and said when everything died down he would marry me. My wedding, were I swore to be with the man I loved for the rest of my life. My honeymoon, and the warm nights that followed, where the baby that was sitting in my stomach was made. I loved my baby so much already and I could tell Gaara did too.

    I also remembered the hard times. How Gaara didn't know how to express his love and I had to be very patient with him. When my sister flirted with Gaara and tried to take him away from me. The lonely nights without knowing if Gaara was alive or not, If he was going to come home safe and sound. I remembered all the people that still hated Gaara even if he was the Kazekage, and some even tried to murder him. All of this pretty much made up my life, and I wouldn't change one thing about it. Well I'd like my sister to be less of a bitch but I mean You get what you get.

"Kyamyi, are you hungry?" Gaara asked and snapped me out of my reverie. I realized we had stopped and Kankuro and Temari were resting.

"Yes."  Gaara helped me off the horse and then reached into a bag on the side of the animal and pulled out a bento box and handed it to me. "Thank you." I stared to sit on the ground but he stopped me; out of another bag on the horse he pulled out a small thin quilt and laid it on the ground. I sighed and sat on it. "Thanks Gaara-Kun." He groaned but sat next to me as I ate.

    When I was done he gathered up the box and quilt, and we were off again. I sighed. Maybe it was a bad idea coming along on this business trip with Gaara if he was just going to nag me. I looked down at him and noticed every few minutes his eyes would trail over to look at me, he was worried about me. Then I realized, he has probably never met a pregnant woman before- that he actually cared about- and he probably doesn't know how overprotective he's being. I'll talk to him about that later.

    I smiled as I looked down at my belly. The bump only just started to stand out at four months, but I don't care about getting fat, because I know that my husband will always be there for me, he will always love me no matter what. I smiled wider when I remembered the look on Gaara's face the first time I had morning sickness.

[Flessbek]

"Kyamyi!" He called after me as I ran to the bathroom, barely making it. "A-are you okay?"

    I couldn't answer for my stomach heaved and I was spitting more bile into the toilet. Gaara came in silently and knelt by my side, he lifted my hair that I let grow out over the years off of my neck and rubbed my back. I was going to say thanks but then my stomach heaved again. I sheepishly turned my head to look at him he was worried but he knew what was happening somehow.

"Water, please." I asked and he obeyed, still silent. He disappeared out of the room and came back with a cup and filled it with water. I rinsed my mouth out then I drank all of what was left in the cup and sighed, it was good and cold and soothed my flaming throat. He pulled me to him and I fell asleep, sitting there, laying on his chest.

[eand uf flessbek]

    I had asked him later that day how he had known what to do and he said he read about it, that he had only been surprised in the beginning because I caught him off guard. Gaara was not always around, he still was the Kazekage, and that job took up most of his time. There were times when he was gone from six o' clock in the morning, until six the next day; he came home exhausted but still had time to apologize to me before he passed out.

    I hate to say it but I liked when he passed out, because then he would have no nightmares. I've woken him up out of some pretty bad ones, and it pains me to see him toss and turn in the night. But I guess when you don't sleep for ten years all of the nightmares add up, I'll be happy when they all run out.

    When Gaara is away he usually leaves Temari with me 'to bond' he says. We've already bonded so much I can call her 'sister' with no problem. On days when Temari can't stay with me, Gaara's second choice would be Kankuro of course. Kankuro would try to make the day fun, even if we were stuck inside the house; almost everything that came out of his mouth was a joke. But we did talk about serious things too, he loves to tell the story of how I helped change Gaara, I like that story too.

"Do you want to walk some more, Ky?" Gaara looked up at me.

    I was surprised at his question but I didn't refuse when he helped me off the horse. I grinned at him and he gave me a warm smile back. I slipped my hand into his as we walked, and he squeezed it. Our silent love for each other was just as strong as our love expressed vocally, and that's what I loved about our relationship, it was strong, no matter what form it appeared in.

    My eyes trailed over to look at the horse. From it's long white mane, to it's stone-speckled coat, to the long tail. It's muscles rippled as it walked.

"What's his name?" I asked Gaara.

    He turned his head towards me, then smiled when he saw what I was talking about. "I thought you might like to know. It's Shiroi-hono or, White-flame."

I smiled. "Fitting; I like it."

[Two weeks later]

"I'm bored."  I complained to Gaara who was sitting next to me on the couch in our apartment that we were using while here in the leaf village. We had been in the leaf village for about two weeks and I've been kept up in the house for most of that time.

"Well then I have good news for you." He smiled at me. "There is a party tomorrow that I just might let you attend."

"But you wont be going?" I frowned.

    He shook his head. "I have a meeting at that time." I sighed and snuggled closer to him.There was no way he was going to be able to get out of going to this meeting; it had been like this since the day we arrived here. Some meetings were scheduled while others he could be called to at anytime. I sighed again and he wrapped his arms around me. "Have you thought of any names yet?"

    I immediately knew what he was talking about and I was a little embarrassed at my answer. "Not yet." I looked up at him. "Do you have any suggestions?"

    His eyes widened. "You really want to know what I suggest?"

"Why not? It's your baby too." I was surprised that he had even thought of any names and I hadn't, I was glad to see at least one of us were brainstorming.

"Well I like the name 'Jeison' if it's a boy." He said unsure, he took his eyes away from mine awaiting my answer.

    I thought about it for a while then I rubbed his arm to get his attention. "I like it too." I smiled at him.

"Really?"

"I couldn't have thought of a better name."

    He smiled and kissed my forehead. "Now you have to think of a name for a girl."

    I shook my head. "I like the Idea of having a boy." I looked in his eyes. "I want him to have your eyes... and your hair... you know what, I just want him to look exactly like you."

"So you want him to look like a sadistic jerk?" He teased.

"No, I want him to look handsome, just like his father."

"Well if we do have a girl, I'd be happy if she looked like you.” He smirked.

"I should let you know, I always get what I want, I'm spoiled that way."

"You don't get everything you want."

"I got you didn't I?" I countered.

"No you got me because I wanted you."

"Teen girls are a hand full, I should know, I once was one." I warned.

"Teen boys aren't anything to mess with."

"We'll be able to raise him right." I stroked his cheek.

"I'm sure she wont be too much trouble." He leaned down to put his forehead to mine.

"You're the one who thought of a boy's name."

"I didn't know you were going to like it so much."

"Whatever, he'll be perfect." And I pressed my lips against his so he couldn't say anything else. I let my hands roam his body, from his back to his muscular arms to his defined stomach. One of his hands stayed on my belly, while the other wrapped around my waist. I let my tongue trace his lips, asking for entrance, when he granted it I whimpered and swirled my tongue with his. I moved my body so now I was on his lap straddling him, and he groaned. His hand went up to stroke my hair, our lips didn't part once.

"Really?" A very familiar voice came from behind us; we stopped doing what we were doing and Gaara looked over my shoulder and his face turned red, I turned my head and I felt myself blush, I shuffled of of his lap nervously. There was Temari shaking her head and shading her eyes, and behind her was Kankuro with an amused look on his face. "I hope you two weren't really going to do it." She looked at us.

"We were just kissing." I reasoned.

"Please, if Gaara is my little brother - and he is - that was going to go further." Kankuro smirked.

    I sighed at the truth in his words. "Why are you even here?"

"Well we were coming to see if you wanted to take a walk, since Gaara was keeping you locked up, but you looked pretty occupied, so we'll just leave now." Temari said as she started to turn around and walk out.

"Take me with you!" I scurried to stop them.

"Don't you want to kiss some more?" Kankuro asked.

"No, I want to take a walk."

Gaara pouted. "I want to kiss some more."

"Too bad." I told him.

    He got up from the couch and came to stand in front of me. "At least let me have a goodbye-kiss." He pulled me close to him and pressed his lips against mine, his hands cupped my cheeks.  After awhile he broke away from the kiss and pressed his forehead against mine. I smiled then gave him one last peck on the lips before I pulled away from him completely.

"Bye, Gaara-Kun." I smirked and walked out the door, but not before I heard a growl rumble in his chest. Temari and Kankuro laughed and followed me, Kankuro closed the door behind him.

"Why do you do that to him, Ky?" Temari said still laughing.

"He deserves it." I started walking and they followed.

"What did he do?" Kankuro asked.

"Seriously?" I asked him, gesturing to my stomach. "The bastard knocked me up, that's what he did!" I smiled.

"Kyamyi has a point. Us girls have to carry the baby, then push it out-"

"Hey, hey no need to get graphic!" Kankuro's eyes widened.

"Kankuro, that's not even near how graphic childbirth really is." I shook my head at him.

"OK can we just get off that topic, please." He grimaced.

"So have you thought of any names yet?" Temari asked me.

"It's funny you ask that, because that's the same discussion Gaara and I were having before we started kissing." I smiled.

"In what way does thinking of a name for a child lead to kissing?" She raised an eyebrow.

"Well you see," I started.

"I shouldn't have asked." Temari groaned.

"Gaara thought of the perfect boys' name, then he was all like 'Now you have to pick out a girls name' then I said no, because I want to have a boy, and I always get what I want, then he said he wanted a girl and then we started arguing about it, and the only way I could shut him up was to kiss him." I finished and took a deep breath.

"That's unfair." Kankuro said.

"How so?" I raised an eyebrow.

"Girls use sex every time they want to get out of an argument and it works, but if a guy tried then it wouldn't work, thats an unfair advantage."

"First of all, I wasn't planning on having sex with him, we were just going to kiss... heatedly... For a long time." I bit my lip then shook my head to clear it. "Second of all, If Gaara tried to get out of an argument with me, using sex, he would surely succeed." I turned to Temari. "What about you and Shikamaru?  "

"Well it depends on what we're arguing about." She blushed. "But sometimes I let him get away with it."

"Then how come it never works for me?" Kankuro frowned.

"Cause' you're messy." Temari stated.

"You're not sexy." I said

"You've got no class."

"You're a monkey's ass." I said then giggled, Temari joined me.

"Well thanks for hurting my feelings." He scoffed.

"You're welcome." We said in unison.

"But seriously clean up your life style, and the ladies will grovel at your feet; Well I can't promise actual groveling but you might get a few girls to kneel, if you know what I mean." I winked at him and nudged him.

"And what would you know about kneeling? Huh, Ky?" Kankuro smirked.

"Not a damn thing." I smiled. "What about you, Tem? Have you done any kneeling lately?"

"Nope, wouldn't think of it."

"You know what I just realized?" Kankuro said.

"What?"

"We are very perverted people."

"Wow you're just now realizing that?" I laughed.

"Well I wasn't always perverted, you guys rubbed it off on me." Temari pouted.

I started laughing.

"What's so funny?" Kankuro asked.

"Rubbed it off on her." I said then started laughing again, Kankuro realized what i said then he started laughing.

"See what I mean?" She sighed. "Kyamyi, I think it's time we started heading back."

"But we just started walking." I pouted.

"Gaara would piss his pants if we kept you on your feet for more than twenty minutes."

"Okay, I don't have to be on my feet."

"We are not going to carry you if that's what you're thinking."

"No, no that's not what I meant at all, I was thinking maybe we could stop someplace, maybe, say a restaurant." I grinned.

"Fine, and I know exactly which one you have in mind."

A|N- Sorry I've been gone long, but headaches and heart pains arent anything to mess with. Here is an extra long chappie just for you, Sweethearts, love you.

Please Comment what you think <3

Get Some Sleep!

"Thanks for the food." I said as I opened the door to the apartment.

"Yeah, and thank you two for the big-ass hole in my wallet." Kankuro grumbled.

I laughed and waved them goodbye and fully stepped in the house. I turned around and there was my Gaara. I ran up to him and mauled him.

"Hi there." He laughed and held me, not budging an inch despite the fact I threw all my weight at him.

"Hi Gaara." I nuzzled into his chest.

"Did you have a nice time?"

I nodded and looked up at him. "I beat my old ramen-eating record." I said as we walked to the bedroom and sat on the bed.

He grinned. "Well, you're eating for two now."

"Thats true, but I ate sixteen bowls, thats almost twice as much as I usually eat, this baby definitely has my appetite." I smiled.

We stayed quiet for a couple of minutes smiling at each other then he frowned and spoke. "Kyamyi, do... Do you think I will be a good father?"

My eyes widened in shock. "You'll be the best dad ever. Don't ask questions like that."

"I'm sorry." He whispered. "I only ask because I didn't have a good father. He used me and abused my power..." He trailed off.

"Gaara," I grabbed his hand. "You are nothing like your father, you are better than him." I hugged him close to me.

"Tell me about your dad?" He asked.

"Well, I don't really remember him very good, just bits and pieces. I remember walking along the beach with him, just me and him, we rarely got time to ourselves, when we did we would always go somewhere peaceful." I remembered. "When he died I didn't fully understand it, I was so young. My brother was hit the hardest since he was the oldest."

"Kyamyi." He rubbed my arm to comfort me.

"No it's okay, really."

He stared into my eyes then he gripped my hand. "I will always protect you and our children, I will never abandon you, I know I did before, and it almost killed me, It would be impossible for me to leave you now." He vowed.

I couldn't stop the tears that wanted to spill over at his declaration. "Gaara." Was the only thing I could whisper to him, I was speechless. I wrapped my arms around his neck and pressed my lips to his softly. He wrapped his arms around my waist. I lied on my back so he was on top of me, one of his arms was wrapped around my back and the other was supporting him off of my stomach.

"I love you so much." He whispered into my ear.

"I love you more." I smiled but my smile was broken when I yawned.

"Nap time for the expecting mother?" Gaara smirked and rolled off of me to lay on his side next to me.

I yawned again. "I guess it is." But I didn't relax.

"I'll be here when you wake up." He promised. At that I sighed and seemed to melt into the bed sheets.

Gaara's POV

I lay on my back beside Kyamyi. My gaze was on the ceiling then I turned my head to her for a while. Kyamyi looked so angelic while sleeping. So relaxed. I smiled at how her hair tickled her nose which made it twitch like a rabbits'. Her hair. It was getting pretty long now; all the way down her back, I hope she doesn't cut it, but she's so unpredictable she just might get up one day and decide to shave it all off. If we have a daughter I want her to have Kyamyi's hair. But maybe we would get a boy since she was so eager to have one. My worry is that I won't be much of a help raising any gender. But I know I'll love them no matter what.

She sighed in her sleep and turned on her back. I looked at her stomach. You wouldn't really notice the bump if you didn't know she was pregnant. But I notice it, and I think it's the most beautiful sight in the world. I couldn't help myself; I turned on my side, without shaking the bed too much, and I softly put my hand over the bump. She didn't wake at my touch, gladly. I thought back to when I was a boy, when I first met her. Did I know then that I would marry this beautiful girl? No probably not. I knew the first time she said she loved me, yes, that had to be the precise moment I knew I would live the rest of my life with her, that no other girl could make me feel the way she does.

I focused on her breathing and my eyes started to get heavy. I tried to stay awake but every time I blinked my eyes stayed closed a little bit longer till they didn't open again.

I was standing in my bedroom in my home in Suna. From the window I could see it was daylight but it was freezing; I could see my breath in front of my face. I rubbed my arms. I felt someone behind me so I turned around. I sighed in relief when I saw it was Kyamyi.

"Ky, do you know why it's so cold?"

She didn't answer. She walked past me to the edge of the bed. I followed her. There was a suitcase on the bed and she grabbed it.

"You going somewhere?" I asked her and smirked.

"I'm leaving you Gaara." She said frankly, a blank expression on her face as she walked past me and out the door. I followed after her, every bone in my body wanted to shatter with her words. She stopped. "Don't follow me."

"Can you at least tell me why before you go?"

She turned to look at me, and laughed. "I don't love you any more."

My jaw dropped. I wrapped my arms around me to hold myself together. I swallowed. "K-Kyamyi?" I wouldn't believe that it was her who said those words, I just wouldn't.

"I'm not sorry, it's the truth." She wasn't fazed by my falling apart.

Tears came down from my eyes, they froze before they hit the ground. "B-before you leave, can I-I kiss you one last time?"

"Fine." She rolled her eyes.

I walked towards her and put my lips to hers, she was so warm. Kissing her made my hands tingle and my left hand became warm, maybe she would feel my warmth and decide to stay. But as I kissed her, her lips became ice cold and she became limp in my arms. I pulled away and the sight was appalling. Kyamyi, in my arms cold and pale. And in her baby-bloated stomach was a knife, in my hand, my left hand was stained with her blood.

"Looks... like.... I-I'm still.. leaving you." She managed to get out a laugh, and cough out some blood.

More tears gushed out of my eyes and I held her close to me. Her eyes closed and her chest heaved as she took her last breath. I dropped to the ground and held her in my arms, sobbing now, I yelled her name.

"I didn't mean to, don't leave me! Kyamyi! I need you! I love you!"

Kyamyi's POV

A jostling beside me woke me up.

"Gaara?" I sat up and shook him to wake him; he was tossing and turning. "Gaara!"

"Kyamyi?" He called my name but his eyes didn't open. I tapped his cheek, I was surprised when it felt clammy, this must be a bad one. "Ky... Kyamyi."

"I'm here, I'm here Gaara." I saw his eyes flutter open. Out of no where his arms wrapped around my shoulders and he crushed me against him. His heart beat rapidly, and his breath was short and choppy; I waited for it to slow before I spoke. "Do you want to tell me about it?" He stayed silent. "Was it that bad?" He still didn't answer, his eyes clenched shut, I guess he was remembering it. I ran my fingers through his hair to comfort him. His muscles eased and his eyes opened.

"I'm sorry."

"For what? Having a bad dream? Everyone has nightmares, Gaara." I told him softly.

"No, for waking you up, and scaring you." He grimaced. "I was supposed to be watching you, not sleeping."

I smiled. "I don't need supervision twenty-four hours of the day, Gaara; You need to rest, you're exhausting yourself."

"I've had a lot of rest today." He said as-a-matter-of-factly. "While you were gone I actually sat and let my mind take me away."

"Yes, but you need sleep, Gaara-Kun."

"I don't want it." He muttered.

I thought for awhile. "I know, how bout I watch you while you sleep? I promise I'll wake you up if you have a bad dream. It's a two way street, Gaara; as long as you want me I'll be there for you."

He smiled and stroked my cheek. "I'll always want you. Forever."

"Then why don't you sleep?" I pleaded with my eyes.

He kissed my cheek. "Fine, but don't let me sleep too long."

"Okay."

"Too long meaning wake me up before dinner."

"Of course, Gaara."

"Aren't you going to get bored?"

"No, I'll be fine."

"I know you'll get bored. Let me go get you a book or something." He started to get up and out of the bed.

I grabbed his arm. "Sleep. Now." He climbed back into the bed and sighed and lay on the pillow, with another sigh he closed his eyes and relaxed.

I let him sleep past dinner.

It really isn't my fault, he just looked so cute while sleeping, and he didn't have any bad dreams so I didn't feel the need to wake him. I did, however, make him a sandwich for when he does wake up. He must've really been exhausting himself. And to think he used to stay on my back when it came to sleeping, he still does, but he's a hypocrite. I wonder how many hours he's been up. Days? I hope not. I'd have to ask him, how is he supposed to be a good father when he's knocked out all the time from lack of sleep? I smiled, his arm was searching for me, I scooted closer to him and his arm wrapped around my waist, he pulled me closer to him. I stifled a giggle. His head came up to rest in the crook of my neck, and this time I couldn't hold back the bubbly sound that escaped my lips. He kissed my neck and I knew he was awake.

"Did you sleep well?" I smiled.

"Mhm." Was all he got out between kisses, they left a trail from my neck, past my jaw, and all the way to my lips.

"See what a good nap can do?" I smiled into his kiss.

"Yup, it makes a big difference." His lips now went down the opposite jaw to reach my neck again where he nipped and bit at the skin.

I shuttered and bit my lip. "How long were you up before I forced you to sleep?"

"Not too long." He pulled the fabric off of my shoulder and brushed his lips against it.

"How long is 'not too long'? Specific amount, please." My eyes fluttered closed.

"Maybe sixteen hours." He nibbled on my earlobe.

"Thats bad, you're not going to do that anymore, okay?" I said through clenched teeth, not because I was mad but because his left hand found it's way to my chest and squeezed softly.

"I promise." There was another squeeze.

"Good."

"Oh yeah, whats for dinner?" His hands stopped and so did his kisses. I pouted and he smirked.

"You get a sandwich."

"That doesn't sound filling. What did you get?"

"Steak and rice. But I cut the sandwich just how you like it, in four triangles." I smiled.

"Well I'd better go eat that, since you probably worked so hard to prepare it." He grinned and got out of the bed and started to walk to the kitchen.

"I'll be here."

[The Next Day]

"I have nothing to wear!" I yelled going through our closet.

"I Thought you would say that." I heard Gaara's voice; I turned around and he was there holding out a box.

I raised an eyebrow but took the box from him and sat on the bed. He watched me open it with a smug smile on his face. I gasped when I saw it. "It's perfect, Gaara." It had short sleeves and was white with red embelishments on the shoulders and bodice. The skirt flared out a bit and it stopped above the knee (pic on the top). It was adorable. I set the dress down next to me and stood up to hug Gaara. "Thank you so much."

He chuckled. "Anytime."

I pushed away from him. "Alright get out while I change."

"It's nothing I haven't seen before." He smirked

I blushed. "Out." I pointed to the door.

He pouted but walked out, he closed the door behind him.

I stripped to my underwear -which was pretty fancy for the occasion- and slipped into my dress, It fit, with maybe a little more room to spare, it most likely wouldn't fit after this month, but I'd probably get some more wears in it after the baby was born.

I slipped on a pair of white flats, Gaara would never let me out of the house in heels, also I wouldn't want to risk getting swollen ankles. I brushed my hair back into a low ponytail. I looked into the floor length mirror; maybe when I come back I should cut a bang, I wouldn't chop it all off I've come to like it long, but it was getting out of hand; in the ponytail it was at my butt, maybe I should crop off a few inches.

I checked the mirror one last time and opened the door to let Gaara see. He smirked and his eyes smoldered. "You look beautiful."

I gave a small smile. "All because of you, thanks."

"Don't get me wrong, you'd look good in anything else." He came over and wrapped his arms around my waist, I wrapped mine around his neck. "You look beautiful in any clothes, potato sacks, or garbage bags; not to mention you look astonishing in nothing at all, but too bad nobody else but me gets to see that." He kissed my jaw.

I smiled. "Well its only fair since I get to see you in your birthday-suit." I giggled when his nose tickled my neck.

"Can't you two ever have a nice G-rated conversation?" I heard Temari's voice and I slightly pulled away from Gaara. We both turned to face my sister-in-law.

"We're still newly weds. We have a right to be all mushy-gushy-biting-tushes." I said and Gaara blushed.

She looked back and fourth between the two of us. "I shouldn't ask should I?"

"Just know there was a time when Gaara couldn't sit right for a couple of hours because he had a bruise on his bottom."

"I knew I shouldn't have asked anything." Her middle finger and thumb went to massage her temples. She sighed and took in my outfit. "You look beautiful, where did you get the dress?"

"Isn't it so nice!" I fingered the smooth fabric. "Gaara picked it out for me. He never ceases to amaze me." I smiled at him.

"You mean my brother Gaara? Hmm I wonder where could he have learned the ins and outs of fashion?"

"Oh, my big sister Temari taught me, have you seen her? She wouldn't be caught in a dress two sizes too big." Gaara smirked.

"It's not my fault they didn't have my size." She pouted.

Alcohol and Babies

    I was walking to the apartment Gaara and I were staying in during our visit to the leaf village. It was dark but I didn't think I would need an escort. Many people offered to walk with me but I turned them down. I felt like being alone with the night air tickling my face, we never had air like this at night in Sunagakure, It felt good to actually walk outside at night without a coat.

    There was a crunch of gravel underneath a foot behind me and I turned around.

"Who's there?" I asked the shadows. I relaxed when I saw Kiba step out. Boy, had he grown up. "Hello, Kiba."

"Kyamyi." His speech seemed slurred as he kept walking towards me. When he got to close I took a step back. The smell of alcohol was strong on his breath.

"You're drunk." I whispered. He had me backed against a wall now. Kiba wouldn't hurt me. I kept thinking to myself.

"What does that have to do with anything?" Even when he slurred his words he sounded sinister. He was so close to me, I tried to control my fear, but my heartbeat gave me away. "Aw don't be scared, Kyamyi; Gaara wont find out." He stroked my face and then he kissed me, hard on the lips. I whimpered and tried to wiggle out of his touch, but he was too strong. I tried clawing at him but all he did was pin my hands in one of his, above my head, as his other hand roamed my body touching everything. His hand slipped up my dress and I shut my eyes tight as he chuckled. His tongue forced entry into my mouth and as soon as he did that I bit down on it, he jumped and pulled away from me.

"What the hell do you think you're doing Kiba?"

"You know you liked it."  His voice menacing.

    When he tried to come in closer again I slapped him. He held his cheek and looked at me disgustedly.

"Bitch!" He punched me and my jaw went numb as I felt tears forming in my eyes as I slid down the wall."Don't you ever touch me!" He kicked me in the stomach and I felt like sobbing. My instincts held up as I covered my belly with my arms and legs. I have to protect my baby.  And that's what I thought when Kiba repeatedly aimed his kicks for my stomach, he understood what I was doing. "You have a baby with him? You slut!"

"Gaara!" I called I knew he probably couldn't hear me, between my sobbing and the distance I was from the apartment but It made me feel safe just knowing I could call him. "Gaara, help me."

"Why are you calling him, he wont come for a slut like you." He grabbed me my by the throat, choking me while punching me in the face. When he was done with that, he pulled me by my hair  and pushed me on the ground where he tried to kick me in the stomach again. The metallic taste of blood flooded my mouth, and my sight went blurry.

"Gaara!" I sobbed.

"Shut up, bitch!" Kiba yelled at me.

    Then it stopped, the hitting, my sobbing and possibly even time. Gaara was here. He had pulled Kiba off of me and was standing in front of me, protectively. Kiba took a step forward and Gaara punched him squarely in the jaw. Kiba staggered back and fell on the ground. I heard it as sand started to spill out of his gourd. Then I was scared not for my life, not for Gaara's but for Kiba's, yes he had just beat me, but he shouldn't have to die for it. But that's exactly what Gaara was thinking of, killing Kiba. Kiba held his ground in their little stare-match, and I don't know how much he could understand in his drunken state, but he still showed some fear.

"Don't... don't kill him, Gaara." I got out of my scratchy throat. I could tell he heard me, his clenched fist loosened a bit when I spoke.

"I think I'll let him live, for now. Just know if your ever touch her or anyone in my family ever again, your life will end by my hand." Kiba looked back and forth between the two of us. "That's your cue to leave." Gaara told him and Kiba happily walked off.

"Gaara," I sighed.

    He turned to me. "Kyamyi, I-I thought.." he trailed off as he came to crouch beside me.

    I rested my hand on his cheek and felt a wetness, he was crying. "Gaara, he... our child... might..." I got cut off by my own cries.

    He understood what I was trying to say as he gently touched my four and a half months pregnant belly. I winced and groaned a bit and he immediately picked me up bridal style and he ran with me. He ran for a about three minutes and we reached our destination.

"Sakura! I need help!" He yelled at her door

    Almost immediately she opened the door. "Whats the problem?" She gasped when she saw me in his arms, bloodied and bruised, she took me from him and brought me in her house to lay me on a couch, Gaara silently followed. I stared into his eyes to forget how much pain I was in, he stared right back. Even when Sakura asked what had happened, he answered, but our eyes were locked, even when the glow came from Sakura's hands and warmed my whole body, even when I felt like closing my eyes and sleeping, I kept my eyes open and stared at the sea foam green orbs I loved so much. Only when Sakura spoke to me did my eyes break away.

"Kyamyi, your child will be okay." She told me smiling.

"Do you promise?"

"I promise." She laughed.

"And we can go now?"

"Yes." At her word Gaara came over to me and picked me up again. I felt safe again as I snuggled into his chest and smiled.

    Sakura let us out and bid us farewell. Gaara nodded her way and thanked her then he started walking in the direction of our apartment. I felt like sleeping but I held it off. My eyes were droopy and I held back a couple of yawns, but Gaara didn't say anything, which is weird because he's always the one who tells me to go to sleep when I want to stay up. I looked up at him, his jaw was clenched and he looked straight forward. He must be angry with me. When we got to the door there was a guard who let us in, Gaara walked into the house and the guard closed the door behind us and we were alone. Gaara walked to the bedroom, and sat me down on the bed, my back rested on the headboard, then came to sit beside me. We were quiet for a few moments, lost in each other's eyes and then I spoke.

"I'm s-"I started but he cut me off.

"I'm so stupid." he put his face in his hands.

"No, I am, I chose to walk alone in the dark and besides you had a meeting-"

"The meeting was canceled, I didn't want to tell you because I thought you would make me come to the party."

"I would never make you do anything you didn't want to do."

"Kyamyi, I thought you were dead, I thought he had killed you, I was going to kill him too." He looked up at me for a second and swallowed hard. "But then I heard your voice."

"I was calling your name, did you hear me?"

"Only the last time, I heard something going on in the street and I went to check it out, when I heard your cry and then he told you..." His voice cracked, tears trickled down his face. "He almost killed our child."

    I wrapped my arms protectively around my stomach remembering. Gaara placed his hand over my arms I looked up at him, tears clouding my vision, threatening to spill over. I just almost died but I can't lie, I was in my happy place. We stayed like that a few minutes, then I spoke again.

"I'll have to talk to him tomorrow."

    Gaara's eyes widened. "No."

"You know I have to." I snuggled closer to him, completely ignoring the fact that I was in the nicest dress I owned, It still looked pretty with dirt and a little blood on it.

"Kyamyi, if I see him again I'll kill him, you know that."

"I do, that's why you're not going with me."

"And you're supposed to go alone? I don't think so."

 "That's why I'll take Kankuro."

"I'd like it more if you took Temari." I nodded and he looked satisfied. "Do you want to change?" He said eyeing the dress that he just gave me this afternoon.

"I'm already half asleep, if I changed now I'd be up half the night." I yawned and he nodded and turned out the light.

    We slept, embraced in each other's arms. I dreamed that Gaara and I were stargazing. There was also a small child there, I couldn't make out his face but I knew it was a boy. He spotted a shooting star and I told him to make a wish, When he was done I asked him what he wished for, he whispered it to Gaara and they both smiled at me. I asked Gaara what the boy said and he told me, the boy wished to fly.

[The Next Day]

"He did what to my little sister?!" Temari came in the door while Gaara and I were enjoying a nice morning cup of tea. "I'm surprised you didn't kill him, Gaara, I know I would've."

    I set down my cup and looked across the table at my husband. "That's why you wanted her to go instead of Kankuro?"

"Guilty." He said as he smiled

    Temari took a seat beside Gaara. "Where am I going?"

"I have to go talk to Kiba and you have to escort me, Kazekage's orders." I smiled.

"Just know if the bastard ends up dead it's his own fault."

    I sighed. "I can't say I don't feel the same way, but I never want anyone to die."

"You didn't feel that way about Sasuke." Gaara said.

"That was different."

"You're right, Sasuke didn't try to rape you. He didn't almost kill you and your future son or daughter." Temari spat, I winced.

"No the difference is, Kiba was a friend." I looked at the table.

"Key word: 'was'."

"Lets just go." I got up from the table. Gaara and Temari got up at the same time. I walked to the door and opened it, when I didn't hear any footsteps behind me I turned around and saw that Temari and Gaara were whispering to each other. When Temari noticed I was looking at them they stopped talking and started walking over to me. Temari walked out the door and Gaara stopped behind me. I hugged him then pulled away, he pulled me back and kissed me, we broke apart and I couldn't help the bubbly mood his kiss always puts me in. I had a bounce in my step as we walked to Kiba's house, but then I saw him.

    He looked horrible, his eyes were red and puffy, his hair unkempt, he still had on the same clothes he had last night and they looked ruffled and wrinkled, there was a deep purple mark where Gaara had punched him, it also looked swollen. I almost felt sorry for him. Almost.

    He spoke first. "Kyamyi, I-I'm so sorry, I..." His voice was hoarse like he had been crying, a lot. "Didn't know what I was doing." He took a step closer to me, and Temari stepped in between us.

"Keep your distance." She threatened him. And he stepped back.

"Kiba," I spoke. "I think you knew exactly what you were doing."

"No I swear! I was drunk I didn't know..."

"They say a persons' true feelings come out when they're drunk." I stared him down; well up, if you want to get technical. "You're jealous of Gaara, he has what you can never have. Me."

    He looked at the ground, he knew it was true. "I never meant to hurt you, or your child."

"Yeah, but you did, and you almost killed us." I wrapped my arms around my unborn baby.

"Gaara should have killed me." He muttered.

"I can handle that for you." Temari said through clenched teeth, reaching for her fan.

"No Tem." I told her. "I asked Gaara not to kill you because I knew living with your mistake would be a far more harsh punishment."

"Kyamyi... Do you think you will ever forgive me?" He asked like he already knew the answer and Temari scoffed.

"I don't know, probably not." At this he slumped his shoulders. "Just know that what you did, will never be forgotten."

"I love you Kyamyi."

"Yes, and I love Gaara." A tear trickled down his face. "I'm ready to go now, Temari." And we walked away and left the boy to cry in silence

[Two Week Skip] September

"Ky, I have good news." Gaara came in the door while I was eating lunch.

"Oh, go on tell me, I'm dying from suspense." I said sarcastically.

    He smirked. "We get to leave earlier."

"Really?" I jumped up out of my seat, knocking the chair to the floor. "How soon?"

"How does tomorrow sound?"

"Tomorrow? We'll have to start packing right now!" I shuffled to the bedroom, grabbing our suitcases and putting them on the bed. I snatched the clothes off their hangers in the closet and threw them at Gaara. "Fold." I told him and he reluctantly took the clothes and folded them into the suitcases. "Well I've done my part," Gaara gave me an 'Are you serious?' look but I ignored him. "I think I'll go say goodbye to Risa." She was out of the leaf village, visiting our home village with Shino and they had just gotten back last night.

"Take Temari."

"I know Gaara-Kun." I said, and he winced at the name. I exited the house and called the door guard over. "Get Temari, please." He nodded and ran to get the ninja, after two minutes he returned with my sister. "Hi, Tem, you know we're leaving early, so I wanted to go say goodbye to Risa, and-"

"I have to escort you, right?"

"That's right."

"Then lets go."

    We walked she asked me some questions about being pregnant, It's funny Shikamaru and her were together longer than Gaara and I, but they still haven't settled down yet. Hinata and Naruto just started dating and they seem closer to marrying each other than them. Something we all did not expect was Neji and Tenten to start dating. Sasuke was just starting to let Sakura in and she was loving it. I heard Anha and Lee were exchanging letters. Risa had settled down with Shino. Kankuro happily flirted with any girl he thought was worthy of his love. I smiled, everyone I loved was happy, so I was happy.

"Hello Kyamyi." Risa answered the door.

"Hi Cuz." I mauled her and surprisingly we didn't fall to the ground.

"Are you okay? I heard what happened..."

    Of course she heard, I had forgotten how fast news gets around in this village. "Yes I'm okay, but Gaara-Kun is still worried for my safety." I gestured to Temari who acted like she wasn't paying attention to us, and Risa nodded understanding. "I came here to tell you goodbye, because we're leaving earlier, like tomorrow early."

"But we didn't get anytime to hang out!" She pouted.

"I know, I know." I frowned

"You have to write me, promise?"

"I promise." I crossed my heart for more effect. "I'm going to miss you!"

"I'll miss you too. Do you know when it's going to come?" She looked at my belly.

"Should be about four and a half months."

"Wow so you're halfway through."

"Yep." I smiled and patted my stomach.

"I've heard mothers say that they have an Idea what the gender is before the baby is born, do you know?"

"I want to say it's going to be a boy."

"I want a baby." She frowned and I giggled.

"You should tell Shino, I'm sure he'll be very happy to help you with that." I teased.

"He probably doesn't even know how to make a baby." She joked and we laughed.

"I know how to make a baby." I turned around and saw Shino standing there.

"Hey Shino!"

"Hello Kyamyi." He smiled and came over to hug me, then he went to Risa and kissed her on the cheek which made her blush. "Hi spider-monkey." He told her.

"Hi, Shino." She smiled at him.

"You two work on the baby making, while I work on the baby having, okay?" I giggled. "See you two later." I walked over to Temari and waved them goodbye, Risa waved to me before she was pulled in the house by Shino.

"Uhm is there any particular place you wanted to go next?" Temari asked nervously.

"No, why, was there someplace you needed to go?" I smirked, I knew exactly where she wanted to go.

"Well I was thinking that we could maybe stop at Shikamaru's place?"

"Of course." I smiled.

    As we walked to Shikamaru's house I looked at Temari, she didn't seem as enthusiastic as I thought she would be, she didn't look sad either, she looked... anxious. I noticed her dress was a little bigger than usual. Her hand brushed up against her stomach kind of like mine does when I think about my baby. Her skin had a sort of glow...

"Tem a-are you?" I stopped in my tracks, and gripped her arm. "Are you pregnant?"

"How did you know?" She looked down at the ground.

"So you are? When did you get the time to..."

    She sighed. "After your wedding, when you left for your honeymoon. I also left, for a trip to the leaf village." She whispered the next part. "And during my trip a guy by the name of Shikamaru, purposed to me."

"He did?"

    She nodded and pulled out a chain necklace from under the collar of her dress, on the necklace was sure enough an engagement ring. "And things just went on from there." She hid the necklace again, and we started walking again.

"That's wonderful Temari." She still looked a little anxious so I tried to lighten the mood. "You know, they'll be born around the same time." I rubbed my baby bump.

"They will grow up together." She added.

"Gaara is going to be pissed."

"That I'm pregnant?"

"What?" We looked up and there was Shikamaru grinning wildly. "Is it true?"

"I was coming to tell you right now."  She smiled and he pulled her up in a hug. When they parted Temari frowned. "I was also coming to tell you I have to leave tomorrow."

"Then I'm coming with you."

"What?" Her eyes widened.

"I'm coming with you." He said more slowly.

"But you can't-"

"I was planning on leaving soon anyway, might as well go now."

    She smiled. "I'll take Kyamyi home and then come back over to your place okay?" We started walking.

"See you." He turned and started walking away.

    We walked for awhile then I spoke up. "Gaara is not going to like that."

"I'm far past what Gaara likes, and I don't care." She smiled.

A|N: Hehehhe..... I'll just leave this right here

Happy Birthday, Boys

*Five Month Skip* January

    We were in the hospital as Temari went into labor awhile ago, who would have thought she would have hers first? Gaara, Kankuro, and I were sitting in the lobby waiting for the new addition to arrive. Shikamaru was seeing the action first-hand. I looked over at Gaara, he had his head back against the wall, and he was resting his eyes.  Kankuro was out right snoring. Did I mention it was eleven at night?

    I rested my hands over my belly, it was huge now. I know my baby would come soon. Gaara and Shikamaru were a little fed up with our mood swings these couple of months... We were having quite a lot of fun with them actually.

[Le Flashback]

"Gaara and Shika are always so mean to us, right, Ky?" Temari said with a tear streaked face, as she was demolishing a tub of vanilla ice cream with apple slices.

"So very mean." I sobbed, I was the exact mirror of her image but my comfort food was Ramen and waffles.

    The boys were on the opposite side of the table looking dumbfounded, trying to figure out what they did wrong.

"Do you think we like being fat?!" I yelled at them. Throwing pieces of waffle at them.... For no real reason.

"It's all your fault, we didn't ask to be like this!" She shook her spoon at them, leaving droplets of ice cream to land on them.

    Gaara's eyes widened. "You're definitely NOT fat Kyamyi, you're beautiful."

    Shikamaru just shook his head and whispered "troublesome."

"Why can't you be as nice as Gaara, Shika?" Temari started crying again. Shikamaru sighed and came over to hug her.

"Awww, why can't you hug me, Gaara?" I started crying. Gaara stiffened but came over to embrace me.

    Kankuro was watching and shook his head. "Glad it's not me."

[Ze end of Le Flashback]

    I yawned and stretched a little in my seat. My baby has been very active lately, one night the little one just wouldn't stop kicking.

[It wouldn't be a Naruto story without multiple flashbacks]

    I woke up when a sharp pain hit my abdomen. I rubbed my belly, hoping to sooth my child.

    I hadn't noticed Gaara was awake and watching me. There was another kick. I flinched.

"Did the baby just kick?" He asked me, sleep laced his voice.

"Yeah." I nodded. I grabbed his hand and brought it to rest under my bellybutton, where most of the activity was happening. "Wait for it..."

    As if on cue there was a strong kick right where Gaara's hand was,  I took a sharp intake of breath.

"I felt that..." He said as if he was confirming it with me, his eyes growing wide. "Are you okay? " Rubbing the spot where the kick was landed.

"It's fine, it just surprises me." There was a softer kick this time.

"He's really in there." He whispered.

"Ha! So you admit it's going to be a boy!"

"I was saying 'he' in a general sense... And you just ruined the moment."

"Shut up, Gaara."

"Fine, but only because I love you."

"Awww, I love you more!"

[Flashback ends]

    I wasn't that tired, I had slept the entire afternoon, and now I was a little restless. I wouldn't bother Gaara, he seemed like he was almost asleep, and I know he had a hard week, one of Suna's ninja went missing, and there was a bandit on the loose, not to mention the ever growing mountain of paperwork. The thing that broke my heart the most, was that he had to work extra tomorrow, his birthday.

    I got up and decided to stretch my legs a little, take my mind off of bad things, it's not good for a pregnant woman to be stressed. I walked a couple of circles before wobbling over to my seat again. But before I could sit down, I felt my thighs grow wet. My eyes widened. Did I just pee on myself? No, no, no, did my... Water just break? I stood there for a moment, waiting for something else to happen.

    When that something DID happen, I gasped and doubled over in pain. That was no kick. At the sound of my gasp Gaara shot up out of his seat and was at my side in an instant.

"What's the matter?" His hands held my shoulders gently.

"Gaara, I think my water just broke." There we're many different emotions in my voice, like excitement, surprise, and anxiousness.

    Gaara's eyes widened. He called for a nurse, waking Kankuro up in the process, he went right back to sleep after surveying what the commotion was.

Gaara's POV

    After Kyamyi told me her water broke things went on in a haze.

    I called the nurse over. Kyamyi was seated in a wheelchair, the nurse wheeled her into a room I trailed behind quietly. The nurse left us alone and I paced the room. The doctor came in and I stopped in my tracks. I found Ky in a pink paper gown, lying in a hospital bed, feet in stirrups. The doctor was a lady and had kind eyes. She said something to me, but my mind didn't process it, I looked to Ky and she answered for me, such a good wife I had. From then on the doctor held her conversations with Ky.

    The doctor left the room and I went over to my wife and held her hand, I kissed her cheek and stayed there for awhile, my eyes closed. I pulled away when I felt her body tense. Her eyes were shut tight and her jaw was clenched shut. I stroked her hair. Eight minutes then it would happen again. Seven. Six. It kept getting more frequent. The doctor came in with a couple of nurses, she sat in a chair between my wife's legs. She said something and it was like I was underwater listening because nothing she did made sense to me. I tried to concentrate.

"...Ten..... You... Push... Ready..." Did she say push? My question was answered when Kyamyi gripped my hand tightly. She pushed for a good seven seconds before she had to catch her breath. Her face became sweaty and loose hairs began to stick to her forehead, I pushed them out of the way gently and she began to push again.

Kyamyi's POV

    At this point all I want is to see my baby. When Dr. Hiyumi gave the command I pushed, with all my might, for as long as I could muster. I clutched Gaara's hand, and he didn't flinch away, he didn't show any emotion, but I couldn't focus on that right now.

"You're doing wonderful Kyamyi, can you give me a big push?" The doctor said in a soft voice.

    I caught my breath and did what I was asked to do. "I can see the head! Keep it up, you're doing very well."

    I was so tired, I swear I could pass out any moment now, but I endured it, I had to see my baby, I looked over to Gaara... Our baby.

    I pushed, clenching my jaw tightly, probably pushing my teeth into my skull by an inch or two. Sweat rolled down my face and I felt as Gaara pushed my hair out of the way. "That's good, one more big push, you can do it." Dr. Hiyumi encouraged. I bared down and gave it my all, I wouldn't be surprised if Gaara's hand was broken after this.

    The sound of my baby's cries filled the room and I couldn't help the tear that rolled down my cheek. "Congratulations, Kyamyi, you have a healthy baby boy." She brought my baby over to me so I could hold him. He silenced his cries now and was blubbering quietly.

"Hi, Jeison, welcome to the family, I'm your mommy. But don't forget about Daddy, say hi." I held him so he was facing Gaara. I looked up at my husband, his face was tear stained, he leaned down to kiss my forehead and stroke Jeison's tiny cheek. Then the nurse had to take Jeison away to get him cleaned and Gaara got to cut his umbilical chord, they brought him back to me wrapped in a soft blue blanket.

***

    I woke up the next day, feeling very proud of myself. I looked over to my right and found Gaara standing over Jeison's incubator with his back to me, since Gaara was the Kazekage we got special privileges and my baby got to stay in the room with me. My two boys. I grinned when Gaara began to speak.

"Hello, Jeison, your I'm your dad. I want to apologize beforehand if I am a horrible father, I know you're going to be a good kid, I can't believe how much you look like your mother, she loves you very much. I'm a busy person, so when I'm not around I want you to take care of her."

"Aw, Gaara." I whispered. He turned his head so I could see him smile at me. I returned it then looked down at my son, he was smiling, looking back between both of us. "Bring him to me."Gaara picked Jeison up gently and walked him over to me, my baby fit in my arms perfectly. I took this time to get a good look at him. Gaara was right, he did look a lot like me. He had my brown eyes, my same chipmunk cheeks, and my black hair- without the red spots- the only thing I could point out that he shared with Gaara was his lack of eyebrows.

    While I was marveling over my son, a nurse came in, holding a clipboard. "Hello, congratulations on your new addition, here is some paperwork you have to fill out, you can return it at the front desk." I saw Gaara flinch at the word 'paperwork' so I took the clipboard after handing him Jeison, and thanked the nurse after she gave me a pen and then left the room.

    It was just normal things I had to fill out, but something on the birth certificate caught my eye immediately.

    I laughed, Gaara came over after setting Jeison back in the incubator. I pointed at the date of birth. "Happy birthday, boys."

DOB: January 19th, 12:00 AM

**~~~~~~**~~~~~~**

"So how is Temari and her baby?" I asked Gaara, I had woken up from a nap awhile ago.

"Temari, is fine, her boy, I believe Shikamaru told me his name is Ryotamaru, is doing perfectly well."

"Wow two boys, that's amazing."

"Temari feels the same."

"Gaara, I'm so happy."

"I am too." He came over to hug me.

    My eyes started to prick. "We have our own little family."

"It won't be 'little' for long." He chuckled.

"That's true." I smiled.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
    Since Temari went into labor a little earlier that me she was released a little earlier. Her and Shikamaru came to visit us.
"Wow, Ky, he is adorable!" She said holding my baby.
"Ryota is a cute little kid too." I held her baby boy. He was a complete mix of Temari and Shikamaru. He had his father's dark brown hair, his mother's pale skin and teal eyes. I laughed when he made Shikamaru's bored expression when I tried to tickle him. My son giggled when Temari did the same to him.
"They are complete opposites, you know they'll be best friends." Temari smiled.
   Just then a nurse opened the door and peeked in. She smiled and took a step in. "Mrs. Kessho, you're free to go."
    I returned her smile. "Thank you." She then took her leave, I handed Ryotamaru over to his father, took my suitcase Gaara had bought for me this morning and walked to the bathroom that was connected to the main room we were in.
    I changed into a red thigh-length dress with white circles on the sides, black leggings, with red sandals. I put my hair up into a pony-tail... yup I'm definitely going to cut it.
    I walked back into the room and saw that everybody was ready, Gaara handed me my son and we left out the room one by one, Kankuro met us outside the door. He gave a polite smile to his new nephews. Then we made our way outside. Temari and Shikamaru went off their way and Kankuro trailed behind Gaara and I, giving us some space. It was silent the whole time, I was just captivated by my son and he seemed equally fascinated, never taking his eyes off of me.
    We arrived at home and Gaara opened the door for me, following me in afterwards. Kankuro went to his house or just stayed outside. We made our way up to our bedroom and we sat next to each other on the bed. I poked Jeison's nose and he gave me a toothless smile. I smiled up at Gaara but my smile faded when I saw his tear-streaked face. My eyes started to water at the sight of his red eyes and flushed cheeks.
"Whats wrong Gaara?" My free hand went up to wipe some of his tears away.
    He gave a small smile and chuckled. "I'm sorry," He wiped the rest of his tears away. "Happy tears."
Breaks and Baby Supplies
I woke up one morning to Jeison's whimpering from the room next to Gaara's and mine. I decided to get up and calm my baby before Gaara could wake and notice, he had been working non-stop for the past three days, he practically lived at work. I wasn't angry, just a little sad that Gaara couldn't watch Jeison as much as I could.
I made my way to Jeison's nursery, Jeike trailing behind, wiping the sleep from my eyes and yawning a bit, it had to be around four, it was still dark out. I turned on the small light by his crib and saw why he was upset; his green parrot had fallen through the bars on his crib and was now laying on the floor. I smiled and picked up the stuffed animal, placing it in my grasping child's hands. He giggled at it then held it close, closing his eyes. I grinned wildly at him, stroking his plump and soft cheek.
"Sweet dreams Jeison." I cooed softly. "I love you so much." I turned off the light and left the room, returning to my bedroom. I found Gaara looking up at me with not tired, but exhausted eyes. I could only see because the moonlight from the window caught his face perfectly. I quickly got in the bed and snuggled up to him, my cat found his spot between us. "You should be asleep, Gaara." I scolded him.
"I was, then I woke up, cause you weren't here.." He sounded so tired, like he wasn't even awake.
"Sleep. Now." I knitted my eyes together, I was really worried about him.
"Oh, okay." His head hit the pillow like a sack of bricks. I sighed and let my head rest on my pillow, I watched him for a couple more minutes before I felt myself nodding off.
Almost fully asleep, my eyes shoot open to the sound of pebbles hitting the window. I groan and slip out of bed as the pebbles keep coming. I open the window and look down to see a very tired looking Kankuro. "What do you want?!" I whisper-shout.
"Just come down!" He uses the same harsh whisper tone I used.
I sighed and closed the window, taking a glance at Gaara before I left the room. I groggily walked down the stairs, this time Jeike decided to stay in bed. I went over to the door and opened it to the very tall boy.
"What do you need at five in the morning?" I asked shivering a bit at the cold air that came from outside.
"Promise me you won't ask any questions, and trust that I'll tell you later?" He pleaded with me.
I knitted my eyebrows not understanding, it was too late... early for all of this. "Sure, Kankuro, whatever."
"Pinky-promise?" He asked, he knew I took pinky-promises seriously. He held out his pinky for me, I wrapped mine around his and we sealed it by touching thumbs. He seemed to relax after we did this. "Ky, do you think you can lend me some of your baby supplies? You know like diapers and food?"
"Wha-" I caught myself from asking a question, remembering the promise I just made. "Yeah... follow me."I let him in and closed the door. "First things first the food." I led the way to the kitchen. I got out five little jars of baby food, I put them in a bag and handed it to him.
"Thanks."
I nodded. "Uhm I'll go upstairs and get the diapers." I turned and walked past the hall to walk up the stairs and get to Baby Jeison's room. I went over to his changing table and grabbed about ten diapers. I checked on my baby before l left the room, looking in on my husband, then walking back down the stairs to meet Kankuro already waiting by the door. I handed him the diapers and he put them in the bag with the food.
"Thanks again, really." He opened the door and stepped out.
"You are telling me everything tomorrow." I growled.
"Sure." He shrugged and started walking off. I blinked and closed the door, cutting off the brisk air.
I rubbed my shoulders and made my way upstairs once again, walking into my bedroom, sliding in bed and snuggling close to Gaara. It took me awhile to get sleepy with the thought of what Kankuro is hiding on my mind. But eventually my mind started to drift and sleep crept up on me.
***
I woke up in the morning to a vacant bed. I quickly shot up and looked around. I panicked. Then I heard Gaara's voice downstairs, along with the pleasant giggles of my baby. I walked down the steps and into the living room to see Gaara tickling our son. The boys' laughter mixed together, making me giggle, Which made Gaara turn around and smile at me.
"Hi, there." He came over to me, Jeison in his arms.
I smiled up at him, but my smile faded a little when I saw how tired his eyes looked. "Why are you up, Gaara? You should still be knocked out."
"Jeison was crying for his breakfast and a diaper change, and you looked too cute sleeping, so I just let you." He was grinning.
"What about you, did you eat?"
"No.."
"Alright, you can stay here with Jei, and I'll go make us some breakfast." I turned to go to the kitchen then I stopped in my tracks. "Oh, yeah, in about ten or fifteen minutes or if he starts looking upset, go change his diaper." Gaara nodded and I started walking again, only to stop myself. "And after that you can put him down for his morning nap." Gaara just nodded and this time when I started walking I made it all the way to the kitchen.
Gaara's POV
It kind of fascinated me that Kyamyi already had a routine, only spending three weeks with our newborn son. She was right on the mark when it came to Jeison, after ten minutes he started to squirm in my arms and whimper a little I walked up stairs and into his nursery to change his diaper.
After he was all clean his eyes started to droop so I set him in his crib, pulling his blanket over him and putting his stuffed animal in his arms, I kissed his forehead softly then made my way back down stairs to meet my wife in the kitchen. Just as I sat down at the table she set two plates down, one in front of me, and then sat down herself, smiling up at me.
I smiled back at her. "So, Ky, I have some good news." I said then dug into my food.
"What is it?" She asked enthusiastically.
"Well.." I dragged it out until she gave me gave me a look that said 'if you don't talk I will kill you' so then I proceeded to tell her. "I have three weeks off from work." I grinned wildly.
Her face brightened immediately. "That's wonderful, Gaara!" She took a bite of food, when she looked back up at me her eyes were narrowed and her smiled faded. "Wait, how did you get such a long break?"
'Uh, oh.' I thought. "Well I'm the Kazekage, I just told the people at the office I wasn't going to be there the next three weeks." I lied, she didn't buy it. "Kazekage vacation?" I tried.
She shook her head. "Tell the truth, Gaara."
"Ididthreeweeksofworkinthreedays," I muttered.
"You did what?! Thats why you weren't here these three days? Are you crazy? Gaara you didn't have to do that, you could have just kept with your routine. Leave in the morning, come back for lunch, and then leave back out in the evening. But you're telling me you corrupted your schedule, cut out your sleeping time, just to get three weeks off?" She ranted.
"I did it because I was missing to much that was happening here, Ky, you have a whole routine, and I don't know a step of it, I've missed you and Jei, honestly I should have taken some time off when he was first born. Kyamyi I feel guilty knowing that you're here alone taking care of our son." I looked down at my lap.
I didn't notice it but Kyamyi had made her way around the table and was now hugging me tightly. "Aww, Gaa-kun, not that I don't appreciate it, but next time don't work for seventy-two hours straight if you want a break, deal?" Her voice was soft, not to mention cute, so I didn't really mind that she used that horrible nickname. I hugged her back, burying my face in her long black hair.
I beamed at her. "Deal." I kissed her forehead softly. She went back to sit in her seat. We both started eating.
"Something weird happened last night." She started. "Kankuro came over at like, five in the morning."
"Why?"
"He needed some baby stuff, he took some of Jeison's food and diapers."
"Again, why?" I asked.
"I wanted to ask him but he made me promise not to question him."
I thought. "What could my brother possibly want with baby supplies?"
"I don't know, but he said he'd explain everything today."She took the last bite off her plate. "We could go over to his house after Jeison wakes up from his nap."
"Sure, I'm very curious as to what his excuse is." I finished my plate and got up, grabbing her plate and walking to the sink to wash them. I usually wash the dishes after lunch, I don't mind dishes, I mean Ky cooked the food the least I could do is clean the plates and stuff. I could feel Kyamyi's eyes on me as I stood at the sink, my hands in the soapy water. I turned around and she was smiling at me, I returned it.
She stood up and walked over to me giving me a hug from behind, burying her face in my back. "Love you." She said, her voice a little muffled.
I chuckled. "I love you more. Not trying to ruin the moment or anything, but this is a little backwards, don't you think?"
"Well if you turned around, you'd be frontwards." She giggled at her own joke, I finished the dishes, wiped my hands dry on a towel, and turned around in her arms, so now her face was in my chest. I stroked her hair, and she looked up at me, her smile warm.
I on the other hand smiled evilly, picking her up by her thighs and wrapping her legs around my waist, I she gasped lightly and I planted a kiss on her lips. I left a trail of kisses from her mouth to her jaw and she sighed, intertwining her fingers in my hair. My hands squeezed her ass, as I nipped and sucked at her neck, leaving light red marks. She purred, rolling her hips against mine, my breath got caught as I felt myself grow hard. I crushed my lips against hers, her tongue asking for entrance almost immediately, I opened my mouth and slid my tongue out to meet with hers, they danced a familiar dance we were both used to.
[Adult themes ahead]
Our moans filled the air around us. Our breathing loud and hitched. I turned us around and set Kyamyi on the counter, not breaking our kiss. I pressed against her, her chest, swollen with breast milk, kind of turned me on as I felt her heart beat against mine. My hands ran down her sides and grabbed her hips, pushing them into mine, showing her what she did to me.
"Ohh, Gaara." She moaned against my lips, driving me over the edge, making me go crazy.
She brought what happened next onto herself, I broke up the kiss to push her back against the counter so she was laying down, I hitched up her silk white nightgown to reveal black lace panties, already wet. I rubbed her through the cloth with my thumb, she whimpered, clenching on to the edge of the counter. I slipped a finger from each hand past the waistline of the panties, sliding them down past her knees then completely off. I licked two of my fingers then trailed them down through her folds, gaining a shudder from her. I slid them into her and she let out a breath, I moved slowly inside of her, she moved her hips with the rhythm.
"Faster, Gaa~" She got out in heavy breaths. I smirked and pulled my fingers out of her, and putting them in my mouth, she looked up at me with puppy eyes. "What are you doing?" She asked weakly.
[All done]
"Nothing." I answered, my fingers still in my mouth, taking in her sweet flavor. I looked down at her and grinned, she looked agitated.
"Ugh, I hate you." She growled as she slid off the counter and landed on her feet, she pushed past me, walking towards the steps.
I grabbed her wrist, stopping her then wrapped my arms around her waist, giving her a hug from behind. I bent my head down so my mouth was near her ear. "We'll finish this later." I whispered.
"You promise?" She inquired.
"I promise." I kissed her neck softly then let her go.
Till then, happy reading and I love you all. Oh yeah and up there is an updated picture of Kyamyi when she was 15, my drawers block also dissipated :3
Kyamyi's POV
I let Gaara hold Jeison as we walked to Kankuro's house, we talked about what Gaara's brother could possibly want with with baby food and diapers. "You think he stole a baby?" I tried.
"I don't think he would deliberately take a baby. Maybe a mother left the baby on his doorstep, that kind of thing."
I thought. "Yeah, but if that did happen, don't you'd think he'd take it to the health center, or even take it to me or Temari, or any other woman."
"You're right," Gaara looked down at Jeison. "Maybe we're looking at this all wrong, maybe there is no baby. What if Kankuro got a girlfriend that has a sort of baby fetish."
I slapped his arm. "Gaara don't say that word around Jeison!"
"Ow! What word, girlfriend?"He asked.
"No, you know which word."
"Fetish?" He tilted his head.
"Shhh!"
"Fetish?" He whispered.
I facepalmed and sighed. He chuckled, I growled at the amusement he got from my frustration. When I removed my hand from my face, I was greeted by the steps to Kankuro's house; I made my way up them to knock on his door. Gaara calmly walked up the steps, a smile still on face. He stood next to me, Jeison drifting off in his arms. There was some shuffling on the other side of the door, then a groggy-looking Kankuro answered the door. Instead of his normal garb he wore a black T-shirt (Same purple and yellow circle but on the back) greenish-gray fingerless gloves with matching pants, his spiky brown hair that almost never saw the light was out and all over the place, he also wore no face paint, so I could barely recognize him.
"H-hey, Kankuro," I said, surprised at his appearance. "I told you last night that I er.. was going to come, today.. for answers."
"Yeah, Yeah, Come in, and keep it down will you?" He moved out the way so Gaara and I could get through. We went to sit on the couch in the living room, it smelled like polished wood, probably from one of his latest puppets.. er... projects. Kankuro yawned and went to sit on the chair across from the couch. "What was it that you wanted to know?"
"Why did you come over at five in the morning asking for baby stuff?" I asked.
"Oh yeah, that-"
"Kankuro, who was that at the door?" He was interrupted by a girls voice. When Gaara and I heard it we turned around to see Anha in Kankuro's bedroom doorway. Gaara immediately turned around and blushed, for Anha was wearing one of Kankuro's shirts, and some panties... and thats it. Her long butt-length hair was messy and and over the place She was rubbing her eyes and when she was done she blinked twice and yelped at the sight of us. "What are you two doing here?!"
I cleared my throat. "Three, and we could ask you the same thing."
"Three?" She tilted her head. Gaara raised Jeison up so Anha could see him better, she gasped. "He looks just like you, Kyamyi!" She came over and stroked the baby's head. "I have a surprise for you too." She looked at me then turned around to go back into the room, she returned -wearing shorts thankfully- but with a baby in her arms.
Gaara's eyes and mine widened. We looked at Kankuro and he just shrugged and gestured to Anha telling us she would explain. "Is it Kankuro's...?" Gaara questioned.
Anha shook her head. "No its not his, she's Lee's."
"What happened?" I tilted my head.
"Well, a week after Mai was born, Lee had to go on a mission, they gave him a choice on weather he wanted to go or not too, but he went, and when he got back after a month we had a whole argument on him, his job, and his family. I told him to choose, he said he couldn't, so I chose for him." She went to sit on the arm of the chair Kankuro was sitting in. "Well I didn't want to go home, cause my mom would be all in my business, I didn't want to stay in Konahagakure so Risa was out of the question. So, I came here looking for you, Kankuro just happened to be walking around and he took me in." She finished.
"Ahh, so thats why Ro-San came over at five asking for baby stuff." I said.
"Thats where he got it from? Well thanks."
"What are you gonna do now?" Gaara asked.
"Well-"
"She's gonna stay with me." Kankuro cut her off. "That is, until she can get her own place of course." He added nervously.
Anha smiled at him. "Of course Kankuro, how could I turn down your hospitality?" She smiled down at him and pinched his cheek.
"You couldn't I wouldn't let you."
"Awww, so does this mean you two, are like, together?" I squealed, I knew Kankuro had always had a crush on Anha.
"No!" They both said at the same time.
"It isn't like that, me and Kankuro are just friends." Anha insisted. Kankuro nodded, agreeing.
I looked at Gaara, he was just as skeptical as me. "So Anha, how old is Mei?" I changed the subject.
"She's going to make two months next week, what about your baby?"
"Jeison made three weeks yesterday." I smiled over to my sleeping baby.
"Jeison... did you name him after your cat?"
"What?" I asked.
"You know Jeike, did you bring him with you to Suna?" She tilted her head.
"Yeah, he's at home now probably taking a nap." I looked over to Gaara. "Gaara named him."
"I don't think I was thinking about Jeike when I came up with the name." He thought. "I was thinking of names I thought Kyamyi would like, and I had always been fond of that name."
We nodded. I absolutely loved the name, Gaara had good taste. "Aw, Gaa."
I reached up and ruffled his hair, and he smiled down at me.
Meanwhile, In Konaha:
Kiba's POV
I stumbled around the village, not because I was drunk, no not yet. I stumbled because I was hurt, not physically, my heart was broken. The news of the Kazekage's new bouncing baby boy reached all the way to this village. I mean I knew she was pregnant, but somewhere deep inside of me I didn't want it to be true. That's probably why I hurt her when I was drunk. I sighed as people gossiped on the street.
"I hear he looks just like his mother." That made me smile, and chuckle a bit, I was glad he looked just like Kyamyi, I hope none of Gaara's features got passed on to him- "Oh yeah, but he has no eyebrows." my jaw dropped. Damn it. So much for that, I sighed, things can never go my way, can they? I went to the nearest liquor store, grabbed three bottles of their strongest stuff, I walked over to the counter the guy was looking at me crazy.
"I'm having a little party tonight." I lied and smiled wryly.
The guy still looked skeptical. "Sure, that'll be 60.95." I handed him a fifty and a twenty.
"Keep the change." I walked out of the store and headed to my favorite drinking spot. The place by the waterfall where I took Kyamyi years ago, when she was mine, when she loved me, and only me. I left Akamaru home, I do that a lot lately, actually. I don't like him seeing me like this, all drunk and depressed. It didn't take long for me to get there, when I did I immediately took a seat and opened up the first bottle. I took a big gulp, it burned, yes, but I was used to that burn, so much that after the first three mouthfuls, the burning left me and all that was left was a warm embrace, kind of like a blanket.
I finished the first bottle and threw it to the side, its a good thing that I was sitting, because the world was spinning so much. I opened the second bottle and downed it in one go... thats it.. I hiccuped and threw that bottle aside. I then went to the third. I don't know why, but it seemed to be the most hilarious thing to me right now, I laughed at it for awhile before opening it and taking a swig. I laughed again and looked up at the sky. I waved at the clouds, they were leaving me.. just like someone else did, I cant remember who. They were the last thing I saw before the world went dark.
Unknown POV
While collecting herbs for my uncle's stomach virus, I hear a male talking. If my training prepared me well, then I could say he was in a clearing north from here, his speech was garbled, he must be drunk, and he was alone. My uncles told me to avoid people at all costs, but his one seemed like he needed help. I made my way over to him, carrying the basket of herbs along. He was sprawled out on the ground his head turning from side to side, like he was having a bad dream. The name 'Kyamyi' was leaving his lips on every other turn.
"Sir, are you okay, chai?" I asked, I covered my mouth when my speech impediment surfaced, I had worked so hard to get rid of it, oh well. The male didn't respond. "Sir, would you like to come with me, chai?" all that left his mouth was 'Kyamyi' and 'Bye bye, clouds' whatever that meant. I sighed and picked him up, throwing him over my shoulder. He and I groaned at the same time. He was really heavy. I started walking home, mystery man and herb basket in tow. The thought in my mind the whole trip was 'Please don't throw up on me.'
I got home and put him in my room setting him on my bed, I walked out quietly and was bombarded by two of my three uncles.
"What are you hiding in there?" The youngest,- and most unfortunately named by my count- Nai asked.
"Nothing." I lied. Nai is the one who taught me how to lie.
"Aww, you don't have to lie to us." The middle child, Yuu spoke this time.
"Its a cat, okay." I just said the first thing that popped into my head.
"You never were one to take a liking to strays." Nai observed.
"Well now I like them, okay? Here, set these herbs in the kitchen, I'll boil them for Rei a little later." I handed them the basket
"Bossy aren't we, well I sure hope you're more hospitable to that stray in there, she might not like to be bossed around." Nai said as he took the basket.
I opened my door and stepped in my room. "For your information its a boy." That, wasn't a lie. I closed the door behind me.
Kiba's POV
I woke up to a pounding headache. I sat up and felt my stomach heave. Suddenly a bucket was pushed under my chin and I took it gladly as the contents of my stomach made their way out past my mouth. When my stomach was empty I looked up to find out who gave me the bucket.
My eyes widened. "Kyamyi?" I asked.
"You kept saying that on the way here, Kyamyi must be very important."
I looked closer, this girl was a dead ringer for Kyamyi, except, she didn't have red spots in her hair, she was a little less tan, and her eyes were a little darker. "She used to be." I sighed.
She smiled.. the same smile that Kyamyi does.. they have to be twins.. but Kyamyi only mentioned one sister, I'm sure this isn't her. "Well I'm Ryn, I found you in a field, passed out, I hope you don't mind I took you home with me, chai." She covered her mouth at the end of her sentence.
"It's fine, don't be embarrassed, lots of people have speech impediments, yours actually sounds cute." I smiled at her.
She blushed at my words. "You think it's cute, really, chai?"
"Yes, very." I think I was going to like this girl.
A|N:thanks for reading, this chapter is crazy, isn't it? No? Well any way give me your feedback, its much appreciated ^_^
8/16/15
Are you PMS-ing?
Ryn's POV
Someone knocked at my door and I motioned for Kiba to be quiet. I walked over to the door. "Who's there?" I asked.
"It's your uncle Nai." I could almost see the smirk on his face through the door.
I sighed. "What do you want?"
"Well there's a mutt outside that wont go away, I think he's here for your cat."
I heard Kiba whisper something behind me sounded like 'Akamaru' but I wasn't too sure. I raised an eyebrow and mouthed 'Yours?' he nodded. "Let him in."
"Tch, fine, but when are you going to boil those herbs, we have a mission to accomplish by the end of this week, and we need Rei."
"I'll boil them when he wakes up! Stop pestering me, chai!"
"Now I know the dog will definitely not like your bossiness." I heard his foot steps walk down the hall as he went to let the dog in, less than a minute later there was a scratching on my door and I opened it to a dog, he ran past me to Kiba, I shut the door behind him.
"Hey buddy, sorry I worried you Akamaru." Kiba petted his head, and the dog barked. Kiba looked up to me. "So I'm a cat?"
I grimaced. "Yeah, sorry, chai."
"Why lie? Who are those guys anyway, Rei and Nai?" He asked.
"It's a long story, chai."
"I can stay for awhile." He smirked.
I sighed. "Well, they are my adoptive uncles. Theres three of them Rei, Yuu, and Nai, chai. They used the first letter of each of their names to name me, R-Y-N, Ryn. They found me fifteen years ago, when I was no older than one, they took me in. They became my family, chai. They trained me but I wasn't good at all the fighting stuff, so they bought me books and I studied them and now I'm pretty good in the medical field. To save me from getting hurt by anyone, they made sure I had no human contact.. You're the first person- other than my Uncles that I've spoken to in fifteen years." I blushed at the end of my story.
Kiba's eye's widened. "So you're saying you don't have any friends?"
"My uncles are my friends." I puffed my cheeks out.
"Thats not the same, I don't know what I'd do if I didn't have Akamaru to talk to after a long day." I stayed silent. His features softened and he slid out of the bed and walked over to me he put his hands on my shoulders and looked me in the eyes, only then did I she how tall he was over me, as my chin just reached his chest. "Ryn, let me be your first friend."
My eyes widened, I was caught off guard. "R-really, chai?"I stuttered.
"Yes, really." Behind him, Akamaru barked. He chuckled. "And Akamaru would like to be your second friend." He smiled.
"I don't know what to say, chai.."
"How about 'Sure, Kiba, I would love to be friends with you, chai'" His hands moved down to grab mine.
I smiled. "Sure, Kiba, I would love to be friends with you, chai." As soon as I said this he picked me up in a hug and spun me around. I couldn't contain the laughter that escaped my lips.
The fun was stopped short when there was a knock at my door. "Oi! Ryn-chan! Whats funny, I want to laugh too!" Yuu sounded.
I covered my mouth and Kiba set me down. "Nothing, go away, chai!"
"Are you PMS-ing? Cause if you are you can tell me."
I sweat-dropped. "No, Yuu. Just leave me alone."
"That makes me think you are PMS-ing... I'll go get you some vanilla bean ice cream, your favorite!" He started to walk away. "Oh and Nai told me to tell you Rei is awake." His voice faded down the hall.
My back straightened at his last statement. "Kiba, I have to go to the kitchen for awhile, I'll be back, but keep this door locked, kay, chai?
"Alright." He nodded.
I walked out of the room and went into the hall I heard the door close a lock behind me, I walked to the kitchen. I turned on the fire on the stove then filled a pot half-way with chicken broth, I set it over the fire and let it come to a boil then I put the herbs in. I turned the fire down and put a lid over the pot. I let that sit for ten minutes before I pored it into a bowl with a handle like a mug. I walked to Rei's room and knocked on the door.
"Enter." His voice sounded weak.
I shifted the weight of the bowl to one hand and opened the door. I closed it behind me and bowed to him. "I made a remedy for your stomach virus, Rei-sama, as soon as you drink it, it should be effective immediately." I tried my hardest to not say 'chai'.
"Well, hand it over."
I stood up straight and walked over to him. He sat up in his bed and I handed him the bowl. He took a test sip and seemed pleased. I took a step back and waited for him to finish the bowl. I watched him from under my eyelashes, I saw as the life returned to him, his face became a more healthy color, there were no more bags under his eyes. When he was finished I went over to him and he handed me the bowl.
He looked up at me with his now lively red eyes. "I feel much better now, thank you, Ryn."
"You're welcome... Rei-sama, is it true that you have a mission to do before the end of this week?"
"Yes, but I don't think I'll go, that'll teach the boys some responsibility, don't you think?"
I nodded. "I'm sure."
"Call them in here, I want today's report." He rested, with his hands behind his head.
I walked to the door and opened it. "Yuu, Nai, report time!" I called down the hall. they poofed in front of me and walked passed me to get in the room. I followed them in. We stood in single file facing him, our hands clasped behind our backs.
"Whenever you're ready." Rei told us.
"I had cleaning duty today, the house is spotless, except Ryn-chan's room, cause she's PMS-ing and wouldn't let me in. I bought her ice cream to make her feel better, that came out of my personal allowance." Yuu said cheerfully.
I growled. "I am not PMS-ing!"
"That's what you would say if you were PMS-ing!" He countered.
"I went into town today for supplies, but I think I'll go again to pick up some cat and dog food for Ryn's new pets." Nai smirked.
Again I growled. "I'm not keeping them, there's no need for that."
"Sure, whatever." He narrowed his eyes at me, I responded with a glare.
I stood up straighter as it was my turn to report. "I went out to collect herbs for your stomach virus an picked up a cat that was injured. I healed it and let it rest in my room, its companion; a dog, showed up and will leave when the cat is back to full health." I finished with a breath.
Rei nodded at each of us once we finished our reports and at the ended of mine he sat up a little straighter. "Well I had a wonderful nap despite the horrible stomach pains, Ryn helped with that. Also you two will be leaving on that mission tomorrow morning, I will be resting up, doctor's orders." He gave a closed eye smile.
"But you can't do that, we need you, bro!" Yuu insisted.
"Yeah, there's some real S-class shit thats going to go down, we can't do that with out you." Nai's eyes widened. "I hope you're not wussing out."
"I'm not a wuss, I'm just giving you the opportunity to feel the satisfaction of completing a mission on your own."
"That's what a wuss would say." Yuu put his hands on his hips.
"You two get to keep all the money for yourselves." Rei said simply and relaxed in the bed.
Yuu and Nai looked at each other then looked at Rei. "You sure?" They said at the same time.
Rei sighed. "Yes, now dismiss yourselves before I change my mind." He closed his eyes and we left the room without another word. I snuck to the kitchen and grabbed the ice cream out of the freezer and a spoon before heading back to my room, what? Its ice cream why would I turn down ice cream? I hope Kiba didn't mind that I was gone so long.. I knocked on the door and called out to him, but there was no answer, I grabbed the key from my pocket and unlocked to the door. I opened it and stepped in, closing it behind me. I saw Kiba sleeping on my bed and Akamaru, fast asleep on the floor.
Kiba's POV
Ryn walked out of the room and I locked it behind her. I went to go sit on the bed again. I looked around her room, it was dimly lit by a lamp in her bedside table, also on the table a photo I picked it up, it showed a younger her with three men. I suspected these men to be her 'uncles'; the one on the far left looked like the oldest so I guessed it was Rei he had short brown hair like mine and red eyes, he had his hand on one of Ryn's shoulders. The next in line I guessed was Nai because he was shorter than the other two. He had black hair that framed his face and dark green eyes, his mouth was twisted in a smirk, and his hands were crossed at his chest. The last male in the picture had to be Yuu. He had orangeish hair, he also had green eyes, but they were much brighter than his brothers'. He had his tongue sticking out. One of his hands was in Ryn's hair, ruffling it, the other on his hip.
"She's got herself a colorful group here, eh, Akamaru?" He barked a 'yup'.
I yawned then, which caused Akamaru to yawn after me. I looked out the window, the sun was just beginning to set. My head was still hurting a little, my ears ringing, but I've been through worse, I decided to sleep it off, I got more comfortable on the bed, pulling the blankets over me and dozing off.
A/n: a few adult themes ahead.
"Kiiiibaaa." Kyamyi's voice chimed in my ears, I looked down and there she was, looking up at me, a sultry look in her eyes.
"K-Kyamyi?" I asked.
She giggled and shook her head. "No, silly, its me, Ryn." She came closer to me, pressing her hips to mine.
"Ryn." I said and she nodded. I ran my fingers through her pixie cut hair, she purred and closed her eyes. I pulled my face closer to hers and pressed my lips against hers, softly, she put more force into the kiss and moaned, I felt my pants grow tight.
"Oh, Kiba!" She gasped and looked down.
"All for you, baby." I whispered into her ear and she shuttered.
"Kiba I can't wait much longer, I need you." She grabbed my hand and put it under her shirt, halfway feeling her heartbeat and halfway cupping her breasts.
"I want you too, Ky- er Ryn." I almost slipped up, but she didn't notice. I pulled her shirt all the way off to reveal her naked chest area. I bent my face down to nuzzle in between them. I bit and sucked at them, leaving red marks all over, she just gasped. I brought her over to the bed and sat her down while I removed my pants, she started to take hers off too.
She was fully naked and all I had on was a net shirt. I rubbed my length between her folds, she was already so wet, and I couldn't take it any longer. I thrusted in her.
"Kiba! Ah!" She screamed, wincing. She looked up at me with eyes close to tears.
"Sorry." I grunted. I let her calm before I started moving, when I did it felt so good...............
Ryn's POV
I finished my ice cream, and stared at the sleeping man in my bed, I pondered weather I should join him or not. I had no couch in my room or anything like that, the bed was the only place to sleep... other than the floor. I was not sleeping on the floor. I sighed, I didn't want to wake him up either. Then the only other choice was to get in the bed with him.. it was a queen size it could fit us both quite well. I turned off my table lamp, went over to my window and cracked it to get a breeze, then I stepped over Akamaru to join Kiba in the bed. I got under the blankets and kept a nice amount of space between us.
I was just about to enter dream-world when Kiba said my name. "Yes?" I asked before I realized he was still sleeping. My eyes widened as he ran his fingers through my hair. I blushed as his hand pulled my face closer to his. No, he can't be.. My thoughts were interrupted as his lips brushed against mine and then pressed softly against them. My first kiss.. I blushed I didn't know what to do, first of all this man was sleeping, second of all, I just met him today, he was drunk and kept saying 'Kyamyi', which I'm sure is a girls' name.. and now he was kissing me. I decided to see where this goes. Don't judge me, I'm a curious sixteen year-old girl that had no contact with any boys except her idiot uncles in her whole life.
His hips pressed against mine and I felt him.. warm and hard. "Oh! Kiba!" I gasped, my cheeks were on fire. Thats it. No more.. This man was having a wet dream. No no no. I got loose from him and got off the bed. He, surprisingly did not wake up. I was breathing heavily... and so was he. I looked at him, his jaw was clenched. I cautiously shook his shoulder. His jaw unclenched and I shook it again. His eyes opened and he looked up at me.
He smiled softly. "You're back, Ryn."
"Yeah." I played it off. "I was wondering if I could share the bed with you..." I trailed off.
"Of course!" He scooted to the side I once occupied and threw back the blankets from his old spot. I climbed in and lay with my back to him and he pulled the blankets over me. "You smell nice, Ryn." he sighed.
"Uhm, thank you, chai." I whispered.
"Anytime." His arm draped across my side, around my waist, my eyes widened. "Is this okay?" He asked.
"Yes." I said and it was the truth, I just hoped he wouldn't have another wet dream.
Why Didn't That Work?
Kiba's POV
I woke up early, my arm over Ryn's stomach as she lay on her back. I sat up in the bed and stretched, I didn't move too much so I wouldn't wake her up. I looked around the room. I noticed a window... was that there last night? Oh well, I hopped out of the bed and saw Akamaru on the floor, I crouched in front of him and poked his nose. He looked up at me with tired eyes. "I'm gonna go home to change and take a shower, okay? You protect Ryn till I get back." He barked. and I turned and left out the window.
I walked towards my house and thought about the dream I had last night. Pretty good dream. I wonder how old Ryn must be. She seems younger than Kyamyi, but not as beautiful. I sigh as I realize I'm comparing Ryn to Kyamyi, and Kyamyi always comes out on top. I don't think I'll ever stop loving that girl, but maybe, just maybe, Ryn can provide me a little distraction from her.
It took a good amount of time to get to my apartment, twenty minutes, but then again I just walked, I'll take shortcuts going back. Walking did give me time to think. I sighed and unlocked my door, I walked in the house and closed the door behind me. I was about to make my way to my bathroom, but there was a knock on the front door. I sighed once again and opened the door to Kakashi.
"Yes?" I ask, slightly annoyed.
He cut right to the chase, probably picking up on my mood. "There has been sightings of three kidnappers in the area, I was told to go around questioning-"
"Sorry, I don't know anything about any kidnappers." I cut him off.
"Thanks anyway." He waved and headed off. I shut the door and locked it, heading to the bathroom.
Ryn's POV
I woke up to an empty bed, I panicked before I looked down on the side of the bed and saw Akamaru was still there. So he only left temporarily? Whatever. I had to go make breakfast. I hopped over Akamaru and left out the door. I stretched and yawned, rubbing the sleep from my eyes. I walked to the kitchen and started my work, this is how most days went. I was the only one in the house who could really cook except for Yuu, but he was never up early enough to make breakfast so that job was left to me.
The three men made their way to the table just as I set the plates down. "Good morning, Sunshines." I beamed at them. Rei nodded and Nai didn't even acknowledge my existence. Yuu smiled back at me and actually spoke a 'Good Morning'. They grabbed their plates and started eating. I took a seat and did the same It was quiet around the table, it always has been, but this quiet seemed to be thicker. I looked around the table, everyone seemed normal but I could be mistaken.
***
"Well, we're off." Yuu announced excitedly, strapping his ninja pouch to his right leg, Nai doing the same, only after strapping his sword to his back. Rei and I waved them off as they walked out the door, Yuu giving us a peace sign, Nai just nodding. This would be their first time going on a mission alone, you could say I was a little worried, but Rei seemed fine with it, and if he thought they could do it, so did I.
I didn't know what their missions were exactly, but I would think they were like any other Ninja's missions, though I didn't exactly know what other Ninja did either, I could guess it was to fight evil people or something, I think I read that in a book somewhere. One day I asked Rei about the work he and my other uncles did and he said all I needed to know, was that what they did put money in our pockets and food in our mouths, I was content with the answer and I didn't question any further. But now I kind of want to know what they really did, maybe I could help them with it?
Back in Suna...
Kyamyi's POV
It was a nice day today, not to hot out. Gaara, Jei, and I had been cooped up in the house when Kankuro and Anha, along with Mai, had invited us out for a walk. It was four in the afternoon and we walked as a cool breeze swept through the village, not to strong to blow the sand up, but just enough to blow through my now short hair. I cut it yesterday, Gaara wasn't to happy at first but he accepted it. Anha's hair blew all around her, as she kept it waist-length. I walked, Gaara close to my side, Jeison in my arms, they seemed to enjoy the breeze too. Kankuro and Anha were in front of us, walking at least two feet apart, I shook my head, Anha sure was playing hard to get.
Suddenly the mood changed. I saw Gaara stiffen the sand trembling a little when his foot touched down after he took a step. His arm went around my waist, and he put his lips close to my ear calmly.
"We're being followed, get ready if they want to show themselves." He whispered then kissed my cheek like he said nothing. I nodded the tiniest bit and held Jeison closer, even he seemed to notice the change in mood as he looked me in the eyes, frowning. Up front I noticed Kankuro got a little closer to Anha, his fingers twitching slightly. Anha didn't seen to notice anything as she was cooing to Mai about something.
It all started when the first kunai was thrown. Gaara's sand blocked it of course, but then a smoke bomb went off and I found myself surrounded in darkness, separated from Gaara. I held Jeison close, burying his face in my chest so he wouldn't breathe in the smoke, I called out for my husband, coughing a bit. Sand wrapped around my waist, pulling me gently until I was at his side again. Senbon shot through the smoke, aiming at both of us, but sand blocked every attack. As the smoke started to go away, I spotted a sword coming down on me, I screamed a little, and closed my eyes but the sword only met sand.
Smoke, pretty much gone now left two male figures standing before us, dressed in black, their faces covered. Kankuro was by Gaara's side in an instant, Anha behind him, Gaara pushed me behind him the sand at our feet moving, ready for anything. But the two men in front of us faced each other, arguing.
"Why didn't that work?!" The first and shortest of the two shouted.
"Hell if I know!" The second replied. "It works every other time."
"I knew we should have waited till later when they went home."
Gaara did not like their back and forth, he clenched and unclenched his fists until he had enough. "Excuse me!"
They turned to look at him then turned back to each other and started to argue again. They shouldn't have done that...
"I said, excuse me!" Gaara's sand, closed around their necks, turning them to face him. "Much better." He growled. "Now I'm going to count to three, and you're going to tell me why you chose to attack my family."
"Why should we?" The first asked.
"Because if you don't I'll snap your necks here and now and be done with you. One."
"Wait, wait, do we only have three seconds to tell you, or do we tell you after you count to three?" The second questioned.
"Two." The sand got tighter around their necks.
"Okay, okay!" The second man choked out. His eyes moved to me. "Oh, hi, Ryn! Did Rei finally tell you what our missions really were? Oh! That explains why he didn't come on this one!"
Everybody was looking at me now, and I was looking at him, one eyebrow raised.
"Kyamyi, do you know this guy?" Anha whispered to me.
I shook my head. But it sure did seem like he knew me.
"Oh, I get it." He winked at me.
The other man face-palmed and said something that sounded like 'Why are you an idiot?' He sighed and looked closely at me, I became a little uneasy at his gaze. "That clearly isn't Ryn. This girl has spots in her hair, she's too tan, and too curvy." He concluded. Wow, I blushed at the last part, I have never been called 'too curvy'.
"Well, she could be under cover." The taller grumbled.
"And if she was, you just blew that cover."
"Enough!" Gaara announced. "I'm tired of this. Sand Co-"
"Wait, Gaara!" I pulled his arm, he looked at me, and I spoke to him through my eyes. I wanted to know how they knew me, or at least someone who looked like me.
Gaara turned back to the two men who looked terrified. "Maybe they would like to spend some time in a cell, hopefully they would be more willing to talk after that." He said reluctantly. I let go of his arm as sand covered them to their necks, they floated in the air behind us as we we started walking again.
Then came the time where we had to split up, Gaara had to walk them to an interrogation cell, and he told Kankuro to take me home, I was reluctant to go, not wanting to leave Gaara's side until I knew what those two came here for, but I silently walked with Kankuro and Anha to my home. Jeison was now fast asleep in my arms. I opened the door and stepped in, waving off Kankuro and Anha and saying 'bye-bye' to little Mai.
Gaara's POV
It was dark but my eyes adjusted quickly. I stared at the two men who attacked me and the people I care about and I thought about killing them here and now, but Kyamyi wouldn't like that.
"So, tell me why you attacked me and my family today." I demanded, reluctantly.
"Geez, usually when people interrogate us they ask us our names, if you're going to do something, do it right." The blonde scoffed. I had removed their masks immediately making sure I didn't recognize them from anywhere.
I rolled my eyes. "Fine, what are your names?" I asked.
"Like we'd tell you." The shorter blunette scoffed."
"You will tell me everything I ask of you." I slammed my hands on the table.
"Ooh, I'm shaking in my boots." The shorter said, the sarcasm dripping off his words.
"But Nai, you're not wearing boots." The taller whispered in Blue's ear.
"Baka! Now he knows my name!" Nai- I guess- facepalmed.
"What if Nai was just a nickname, you just gave yourself away." The blonde crossed his arms across his chest.
I pinched the bridge of my nose and clenched my eyes shut. "As much as I love your back and forth, I would also like to know why you endangered two infants, and two women, attacking two ninja, one of them the Kazekage."
Nai raised an eyebrow. "We didn't even touch that other couple."
"So, is this a money thing? Someone paid you to kill the Kazekage? How much was it this time?" I rolled my eyes.
The two men looked at each other. "We didn't come to kill you." They both said at the same time.
I shook my head, if they didn't come to kill me, then what did they come for? "Then why did you attack me? Wait, were you trying to murder my wife?!" I got really angry then, who would try to target Kyamyi, just thinking about it made my vision go red thinking of all my enemies, no one would dare hurt her.
"We didn't come for her either." The blonde shook his head and grinned like this was the best game he ever played in his life.
"Listen we're not telling you why we came, so stop guessing."Nai grunted.
I smirked. "Well that makes things easier for me." I made the sand trail up their ankles.
"Wait, wait! I'm to young to die!" Blondie yelped
"Too late."I smirked. "Sand Burial!" Sand enclosed their bodies, but instead of the satisfying crunch of bones I was left to the poof that shadow clones made. My eyes widened in realization. These clones were here to stall me. If they didn't come for me or my wife... they must've come for..... Oh no, Jeison!
A|N: sorry for the wait, finding time to write has gotten hard due to the fact that I have 2 AP classes and homework every night for Physics, not to mention after school activities. Love you sweethearts!
Tragedy
Kyamyi's POV
I sat in my bedroom waiting for Gaara to return safely. I had set Jeison down in his crib for a nap as soon as I came in. I lay on my bed, feet dangling off the side with Jeike on my stomach breathing evenly. I stroked him between the ears and he purred, a pleasant sound that eased my nerves. But suddenly Jeike stood up and hissed, his white fur bristled as he hopped off of me on to the floor.
"What's wrong?" I asked him. He meowed a 'baby' and 'trouble'. I jumped out of the bed and crept quietly to Jeison's room and found the door was closed, I never close Jeison's door. There was whispering inside the room, I listened closely.
"Hurry up and give him the stuff before he wakes up and starts crying." A male whispered.
I narrowed my eyes and burst through the door. Both figures froze. It was the two men who attacked us this morning. The one with the orange hair stood over my baby in his crib holding a vial full of some purple colored liquid to Jeison's mouth. The other stood in the middle of the room.
"What the hell do you think you're doing?!" I started over toward the orange haired one but the blue haired one held me back. I stepped on his foot then elbowed him in the ribs. I ran over to the other guy and punched him in the nose, he dropped the vial on to the floor and clutched his face to try and stop the bleeding. I grabbed my baby and tried to make a run for it but I was stopped by the first guy. He took Jeison from me, I reached out to him but the man held him away.
"Be careful, any sudden movements and your baby dies." I stopped and narrowed my eyes at him. The hair on the back of my neck stood on end and prickled. I hissed when he took a step back. "Yuu, give me the vial." He called to Orange who was sporting dried blood on his hands and face. He picked up the vial that now only held half its contents - the rest spilled on the floor - and brought it over to the other guy.
Only then was it I noticed Jeison was awake and watching all that was going on. I tried to communicate with him through my eyes but that didn't stop his captor from forcing the liquid from the vial down my baby's throat. I watch in horror as Jeison's eyes gloss over and his body goes limp.
My eyes widen and I scream. "What have you done?! What the hell did you do to my baby?!" I yell and lunge at the man holding my baby. This time orange holds me back, arm tight around my throat, trying to put me to sleep, I claw at his arm, my nails cutting through his skin like butter. I turn around and sink my teeth into his shoulder after I strike his face he yelps in pain. I did that quickly then turned to Jeison's murderer, ready to gouge his eyes out. I stopped when I saw he held a Kunai to Jeison's chest. I smirked. "What's the use, you've already killed him." I spit.
"Oh but I've only put him to sleep."
I felt my rage mode wear off. "You mean he's alive?" I whimpered, looking for any sign of life coming from him.
"He's as alive as you and me, just sleeping." Orange came from behind me to stand next to the other man, fresh blood seeping from gashes on his arms, shoulder, and face.
"But he will be dead if you follow after us." Blue announced sinisterly
My eyebrows knit together. "What do you mean?"
They looked at each other. "Let's just say we're taking him on a little trip." The man holding my baby said. They started backing out the door, and in one last attempt to save Jeison my cat leaped onto the man's back and clawed it, but it was no use, he just reached for Jeike and threw him against a wall. As I went to check on my cat the two men took their leave with my baby.
Jeike was able to get up and shake off the pain. I was glad he wasn't seriously hurt but I couldn't help but feel like an empty shell at the loss of Jeison. I lay there, on my side on the floor, facing the wall. Tears streamed down my face, Jeike tried to console me but it didn't help, the tears were there and they were coming out heavily, I wrapped my arms around my body to try and hold myself together, but I was already shattered, all of my pieces flew in different directions and there was no finding every single one to put me back together again. Humpty Dumpty would be jealous.
I heard someone enter the house in a hurry I didn't really care who it was, but I knew it was my husband. "Kyamyi!"Gaara called to me as he bounded the steps. I couldn't answer him, I couldn't do anything really, but cry. Luckily I had an awesome cat like Jeike who answered for me. Gaara burst into the room, out of breath, he came over to me he knelt and pulled me to his chest. He must've saw the crib empty because tears started to fall from his eyes. "I'm too late, I-I'm so sorry K-Kyamyi." He cried. We sobbed together for what seemed like centuries, he stopped first, there seemed like no end to my tears. "Jeike, I need you to go get Kankuro for me." Gaara asked my cat, and Jeike meowed a 'sure' before leaping out of the window into the tree outside and climbing down.
Gaara picked me up and walked me to our bedroom, pulling back the blankets and setting me gently under them. I still didn't stop crying. Gaara sat on the foot of the bed, his head in his hands. I wish I could reach out and stroke his hair, tell him not to be upset, that it's all my fault I couldn't keep Jeison here, but my body wouldn't let me do anything but cry.
When Kankuro arrived Gaara got up to go and talk to him in the hallway, I could still hear them loud and clear even though they whispered. I watched and listened, as well as I could with tears in my eyes, blurring my vision. Jeike hopped in bed with me curling up against my stomach, he couldn't cry tears but he was really sad, I couldn't comfort him.
"They took him, Kankuro, they took Jeison. They stalled me with shadow clones, and all that time they were really here taking my baby."
Kankuro put his hand on Gaara's shoulder. "How can I help."
Gaara looked into his brother's eyes, and a new fire was lit, he stood up strait. "Gather as many ninja as you can, trail them, they couldn't have gotten too far. I want Jeison back home safe."
"And what about the men?"Kankuro questioned.
"I want them dead."
My brother-in-law nodded and poofed away. Gaara returned to the bedroom, he got in the bed with me and hugged me. Jeike got up and licked my face, lapping up tears.
"Kyamyi... Ky, you have to stop crying." He urged me. 'But I can't .' I tried to tell him but it didn't work. He sighed and just held me, stroking my hair. Soon my eyes couldn't produce anymore tears so I was left to my dry sobs, and soon after that, I lost my voice. "Ky, I'm going to get you some water, I'll be right back." He started to get up but I caught his wrist. "You need water, you're dehydrated." He insisted. "I promise I'll be right back." He whispered, but I kept my grip on his wrist. He sighed. "Fine, I hope you don't mind a little sand in your water." He lay back down and closed his eyes, concentrating. It was easy to control sand when it was right in front of his face, but it took a lot of practice to control what he can't see.
A few minutes later a wave of sand brought in a glass of water, Gaara took it and sat me up, putting the rim to my lips, it's amazing I remembered how to swallow, I must've really been thirsty. When the glass was empty he set it on the side table. He examined me closely, and his eyes widened at something on my hands. He brought it up for me to see. "This isn't your blood is it?" He asked, I didn't answer.. he searched my body for any wounds and was relieved when he found none.
My head started to pound so I closed my eyes, willing the headache away, and Gaara must have taken this as me being tired so he lay me back down and pulled the covers over us as he wrapped his arms around my waist. But I couldn't sleep, not while I know my child is out there with strangers, not while I know that if someone asked me if I did all I could to protect him my answer would be no, because in reality, I could've done so much more. Jeison counted on me in those moments to protect him, and all I did was froze. If I was brave enough we wouldn't be in this situation, Jeison would have never left. But I'm weak, I couldn't protect him when he was inside of me, when Kiba almost killed him, and I couldn't stop the men who literally walked out with him.
Gaara's POV
I am such a failure. I left Kyamyi all alone to fend for herself against two ninja, she scared me when I found the blood on her hands but there was no wound to go with it, so I concluded that it was from one of them. I'm glad she could actually hold her own against them, but I'm angry with myself that I wasn't there to help her. It's all my fault Jeison got taken. If only I had gotten here a few minutes sooner Kyamyi wouldn't be broken right now, we all would be together and happy.
I felt tears come back to my eyes but I blinked them away. I had to be strong for Kyamyi. She lay there in my arms, her body not relaxing but her eyes closed.
"Sleep, Ky, I'll be here when you wake up." I whispered in her ear, but she did not relax. I swallowed, she didn't even trust me to protect her while she sleeps. "I-I love you Ky." My voice broke, but I meant what I said.
We both just lay there, awake and aware.
A few hours later Kankuro returned, I got up and out of the bed to meet him in the hallway Kyamyi turned to look at us, she didn't say anything, she just seemed hollow. Kankuro had a grave look on his face.
"What happened?" I asked urgently.
He looked down at his feet. "They led us away with four sets of tracks, we split up to follow them all but they led us nowhere... except one trail leading north, there was this there." He handed me a letter. It was addressed to me and Kyamyi. I opened it quickly.
I read it quickly then scoffed. Kankuro looked curious so I read it out loud. "Dear Kazekage and wife, we are sorry to inform you that if you do not bring 50,000 (insert currency here) to the location fifty miles north from your village gates by next week we will have to dispose of your son. Sincerely Y&N."
Kankuro's eyes widened. "They can't be serious!" He took the letter from me. "Like they'll ever get that money. What do you want me to do?" He balled the paper up.
I nodded. "First things first, have some ninja see whats fifty miles North of here. Then I want a background check on these guys. One of their names is Nai." Kankuro nodded at all of this and was about to leave. "One more thing." I stopped him, whispering I turned him to look at me. "Bring Kyamyi's mother here." I mouthed so Kyamyi wouldn't hear. Kankuro nodded one last time and went to start on his errands. I went back into the bedroom and got back under the blankets. She was crying again. I pulled her close to me. "Were going to get him back, Kyamyi, I promise." Jeike was also giving her words of encouragement it seemed. She stopped crying, but that's it, she didn't talk, she didn't sleep, she didn't return my embrace, she did nothing, and that broke my heart.
A|N: Damn kidnappers.
Game Plan
In Konoha:
Ryn's POV
I sat in my room waiting for Kankuro to return. It's been an hour since Yuu and Nai left. A knock on my door startled me and Akamaru. Rei is the only one in the house what could he possibly want? I hopped off my bed and unlocked the door, it burst open, nearly hitting me in the face.
"Were leaving. Pack your stuff and tell that mutt to go home to his owner." Rei said firmly.
I was caught off my guard. "B-but... w-why?" I stuttered.
He got angry then. "Don't question me!" He slapped me and my head was thrown to the right, my cheek burned but I managed not to cry. Rei never hit me before, he never had any reason to. Akamaru stood by my side and growled at Rei.
"I-I don't understand, are we meeting Nai and Yuu somewhere?" I trembled, scared out of my mind.
Rei smirked and crossed his arms against his chest. "My brothers are as good as dead, and we will be too if we don't leave... now."
My eyes widened. "What?"
"Listen I don't have time to explain this to you. Here take this." He pulled a small book out of his pocket and handed it to me. "I'm leaving, you don't have to come with me, but if they find you here, they will kill you." He turned then.
"Wait!" I called after him, he stopped in his tracks. "Who are 'they'?"
He chuckled. "The good guys." Then he disappeared.
The good guys? Weren't we the good guys? Akamaru barked and brought me out of my thoughts. I had to get out of here. I grabbed all of my books- including the one Rei had just given to me- and put them in a bag along with my clothes and anything else that was valuable, which really was nothing. I looked around my room one last time. The picture of me and my uncles stood on my bedside table. I took it out of its frame and folded it up, stuffing it in my pocket. I put the bag on my back.
I walked out of the house with Akamaru in tow. "Can you take me to Kiba?" I asked him, letting the tears go now. He barked twice and led the way.
We walked for fifteen minutes, I cried the whole time. When we got to the house Akamaru scratched the door and I knocked. A half naked Kiba answered the door, wearing only a towel around his waist. I buried my face into his chest, crying. He was surprised at first, but then he wrapped his arms around me hugging me tight and pulling me inside, closing the door behind us. He picked me up and walked me over to a couch, setting me down.
"I'm going to go put some clothes on, and when I come back you're going to tell me who I have to kill." His fists were clenched as he went into a room and came out fully clothed. He knelt in front of me, putting his hands on my shoulders. "Who made you cry, Ryn?" His eyes peered into mine, willing me to tell the truth.
"Rei, he just abandoned us." I got out shakily.
His brow furrowed. "What're you talking about?"
I swallowed and wiped my face. "This morning, Yuu and Nai left for their mission and just an hour later Rei had packed all of his things and was ready to go, he told me to come with him, but I hesitated and he left without me." I explained. "He left me this." I say pulling out the book Rei gave me, Kiba took it from me, flipping through it. His eyes widened.
"It's a log..." He whispered. His eyes widened as he started reading. "How many years ago did you say they found you?"
I blinked. "Fifteen, when I was one." I remembered from stories Unc- I mean Yuu used to tell me.
Kiba shook his head. "You weren't one, you were five." He looked at me and handed me the book open to the page he was reading.
At the top, it was dated... fifteen years ago, I started reading.
It is two days after I disposed of my former companions, Riyu and Korei. I have picked up two new males to accompany me, of course I replaced their memories, but this I time I made them remember growing up with me, as brothers. I have taken them to clean up the scene of my former partner's' demise, tie up any loose ends.
Among the ashes and blood stood a girl. She was kneeling over the bones of her parents, crying. I took pity on her and asked if she wanted to forget. She let me take her memories and I took her along with us. I had never really used my Kekkei Genkai on anyone under the age of ten. I guess the effect on five year olds is they forget everything they learn. Instead of forgetting the memories I target, she forgot every word she learned, all the family she knew, even how to walk.
I thought it was best to say she was one, as all brain development seemed to reset for her, erasing all she knew, it was easy since she was already a runt for her age.
My new group and I decided to rename her Ryn.
At the last line I dropped the book on the floor. There were a lot of things running through my mind. Like what happened to my real parents, how I was physically twenty years old but mentally sixteen, how Rei is the most evil person I know... how I only know four people. But my sympathetic side was loud in my thoughts. Yuu and Nai were just as deceived as I was, and now they're going to die just like Rei's other group members.
Kiba was staring deeply at me. "What do you want to do now, Ryn?"
I thought about it before I answered. "We have to save Yuu and Nai."
He nodded, picking up the log. "This will be useful for our game plan."
Back in Suna...
Gaara's POV
It's been twelve hours since my son was kidnapped. It's about four in the morning. Kyamyi still won't talk or sleep or eat. I will bring her water every hour or so. I lay next to her in bed. I can't help but visualize her like this when I left her... two years, did she really do this for two years? I can't hold myself together as I just let the tears fall. I pull the roots of my hair, cursing myself for ever doing that to her. How could I be so stupid; leaving her like that, it broke her. And now I let our son get taken and I broke her all over again. I start shaking out of sadness, guilt, then finally rage with myself.
Kyamyi doesn't reach out to comfort me, and I'm glad she doesn't. I deserve every bad thing that comes for me. I should have stayed dead when the Shukaku was extracted from me. I'm worthless. I wasn't able to protect Kyamyi when Kiba attacked her, and I wasn't even able to help her keep our child safe.
A|N: Sound familiar?
I don't know when Kyamyi started crying but when I became aware I held her tight, I didn't care that her tears soaked through my shirt, as my own fell into her hair. I clenched my jaw, she needed me to be strong right now and look what I'm doing, crying like a baby.... our baby... he must be sobbing without Kyamyi, what if he's cold, and hungry? I swear if they harm him in anyway their torture will be endless.
Kyamyi's POV
I was laying in bed next to Gaara staring up at the ceiling when he started crying. Not just quiet tears, his body was racked with choked sobs. Once again my body wouldn't move for me to hold him close to me, console him. No, I just lay there while my husband is breaking apart. He started shaking and I felt the tears leave my eyes I started sobbing, but unlike me Gaara actually reached out for me and held me to his chest. I felt his tears drop in my hair and I cried harder. Jeike curled up against my back. He was sad too, and I did nothing to help him, I am the worst person ever.
There was a knock on the door downstairs and Gaara pulled away from me gently. I fell back on my pillow. I didn't stop him this time, I just let him go. He walked out the room solemnly. I looked around the room, it was dark. It had to be about four o'clock in the morning but I didn't wonder who could it be, I didn't really care. Five minutes later I heard footsteps coming up the stairs, they weren't Gaara's but they were familiar. My mother peeked in the bedroom. If this was any other time I would have smiled and ran to her, hugging her; but I didn't feel like smiling, running or hugging anybody.
She came in the room and knelt next to the bed so her face was at the same level as mine."Hi, Kyamyi." She said sweetly; I just stared at her. "I heard somebody had the guts to to kidnap my grandson." She sighed when I didn't respond. "Jeison is out there waiting for his parents to come and get him. What would he think if he knew that all his mother was doing to save him is mope. He needs you; Gaara needs you too. He is down there blaming himself for all this."
My eyes widened. Gaara was blaming himself? But none of this was his fault, it was all mine.
My mom sighed again. "And I know that you're up here thinking it's all your fault; when in reality the only thing you both are guilty of is not going after your son. Gaara wouldn't go alone and he's busy worrying about you to leave you here alone." She stood. "I mean I could always stay here with you and Kotoni can go with him. I'll go break the news to them."
I jumped out of the bed and ran downstairs, I heard my mom's giggles echo behind me. I saw Gaara leaning against the wall next to the front door. I launched myself at him, wrapping my legs around his waist. He caught me easily and held me, I nuzzled my face into his neck.
"I'm sorry." We said in unison then laughed, it cleared the air between us and seemed to take some of the pain away. I looked him in the eyes and smiled. I then remembered my mom mentioning Kotoni. I hopped off of him and turned around to see Kotoni in the living room sitting awkwardly on the couch. I walked over to her. "So what are you here for." I looked down at her, hands on my hips.
She looked up at me. "I came to fight to get my nephew back." Her eyes told me she was genuine.
I smiled down at her. "Welcome aboard, soldier." I held my hand out for her. She stood and shook it, we smiled at each other. "Let's go-"
My mom cut me off. "You haven't eaten all day, what type of fighting do you think you could do?" She hit me on the head, scolding me. "I'm going to fix something, you three are going to make a battle plan then leave in the morning."
I bit my lip, I pleaded with my eyes but knew better than to argue with her. "Sure." I laughed uneasily. She nodded and started towards the kitchen. "I'll show you where everything is!" I called after her.
"I'll help!" Kotoni and I went after her together. We left Gaara behind us in the living room, chuckling softly.
***
It was seven when we finished dinner/breakfast and we were putting the finishing touches on our plan. One of Gaara's informants told us where the two villains were hiding out, so at least we wouldn't have to look for them. Their names were Yuu and Nai, though their appearances closely resembled two boys that went missing fifteen years ago named Dae and Tomi Hijuku. Usually seen with a third member.
"So they've been doing this for a while?" Kotoni's eyes widened when she heard they were wanted in two other countries and eleven other villages. "These guys are messed up."
I nodded. "Well we're gonna end their win streak today." I smiled as Gaara's hand clasped mine under the table.
"Let's go over this one more time." Gaara ran his free hand through his hair. "It will take us four hours to get there, I will travel out in the open, feigning as though I am giving them the ransom-"
I cut him off. "Of course they won't show themselves, well at least not their real selves, so I will sniff the real ones out, along with my baby-"
This time Kotoni cut me short. "Of course they will find you, knowing that Gaara wouldn't come alone, and if they're smart; that we wouldn't give up so easily. So that's where I come in, they've never met me, they don't know I exist. I will catch them off guard, letting Mi-Mi run off with Jeison." I scowled at her use of that nickname but let her finish. "You will then signal Gaara and he will come and finish off the scum bags."
Footsteps entered and we all turned around to face my mom who was smiling at us. "Not bulletproof, but it just might work." Her hands were behind her, hiding something. "I brought this for you Kyamyi." She held out her hands, holding a sheathed sword towards me. "It was your father's.'"
My eyes widened, I reached out for it. "Why me?" I asked quietly.
"He wanted you to have it, plus, you're the only one in our family who can use it, I have water nature and both Kotoni and Binsu have earth, you're the only one with fire."
I gasped and pulled my hand back. "You mean... this is that sword?"
She nodded.
To say this sword had a history would be an understatement. His sword has been to Hell and back.. almost literally. Fifteen years ago it belonged to an evil person, two evil people, really, as stories go, it was a girl, Riyu Asami and a guy, Korei Nazuki. They massacred clans with this sword. They wielded this sword, taking turns, setting fear in innocent people's' eyes with the black flames that radiated off of it. Well fifteen years ago they picked with the wrong clan. They tried to take over, they almost succeeded, killing half of our strongest warriors, along with a few other casualties; but then my father stepped up. The people in our village liked to call him 'Fire Master' because he could tame the wildest of flames. Nothing different about this black flame. Riyu and Korei were dumbfounded when he turned the sinister black fire into a beautiful blue flame, and turned it against them. This was my favorite story growing up, part of the reason why I worked so hard on my fire Jutsu, everyone talked about how good my father was with them, I wanted to be just like him. And in our village, you could only specialize in one nature.
I was five when that fight occurred, and two months later my dad died of a disease, hard to understand as a child how a hero could die just as easily as he killed the bad guys. I was stubborn, saying he was weak if he let a disease take him, but I was young, I understand now that it was his time to go.
"So are you going to to take it or no?" My mom's voice pulled me out of my reverie. She held the sword closer to me.
I looked her in the eyes as I gripped the sword tightly in one of my hands, she let go and I didn't even waver at the weight that was put on.
Kotoni stood, grinning. "We're definitely ready now if we weren't before." She put a hand on my shoulder. Her weapon of choice was her staff, carved from the strongest of trees.
I smiled at her and stood up, Gaara followed. I slung the sword on my back, and grabbed my sister's and my husband's hand in each of mine. "Let's go get Jeison back." I said, adrenaline coursing through my body.
Bonding Time Pt. 1
In Konoha...
Ryn
It was a little after six and we were fighting to get in the Hokage's office. I didn't even know what a Hokage was till twenty minutes ago. Kiba explained this and a few other things. I can't believe they kept me in the dark for so long, well; it wasn't Yuu and Nai's fault, Rei was the one to blame for everything.
"I'm sorry Inuzuka-san, if you don't have an appointment then I can't let you see The Hokage."
"I don't care I have to see him this is important! "He yelled the door guard.
"I can-"
"You want to see me Kiba?" A guy with silver hair and a mask covering most of his face walked up to us.
"H-Hokage-sama!" The door guard bowed, Kiba stood straight so I followed after him.
"Come on, let's talk in private." The guy who I guess to be the Hokage walked up to the door and the guard stepped aside. As we walked in the room Kiba gave the poor guard a sneer and I gave an apologetic smile. The Hokage closed the door and then walked around us to sit at a large desk with papers all over it.
"Speak your business." He said casually, pulling out a book and sticking his nose in it.
I raised an eyebrow 'rude' I thought. But Kiba didn't seem to waver and went on to explain the situation the the man.
"Ryn." The Hokage called to me after Kiba was done explaining what happened. "Is that your name?" He asked.
I nodded, even though I was renamed at five years old, it was the name I lived by since then.
"Do two of your uncles look like this?" His nose still buried in his book he set out two papers with sketches on them. I looked at them.
"Yes, sir. The one on the right is Yuu and the other one is Nai, though I'm sure those aren't their real names." I pouted.
The Hokage sighed and set down his book, looking at me, I felt uncomfortable under his one eyed gaze. "So you're saying this Rei person manipulated them? How do you know they didn't do everything under their own free will?"
Kiba stepped up. "It's all in here." He handed over the log. The Hokage flipped through it.
"Interesting, but why would he give you this when it's enough evidence to put him behind bars for a long time?"
I bit my lip. "I guess he figured I wouldn't know what to do with it, that I'd have no one to show, chai."
The Hokage sat back in his chair. "But he must've known that someone was going to search the house, why else would he have left in a hurry...?" He eyed the book closely, examining it. He sighed, uncovering his left eye, showing a scar running from his brow to his cheek. He opened the eye and I was surprised to see it was a blood red color. "Interesting."
I leaned in. "What do you see, chai?" I looking back and forth between him and the book.
He chuckled and set the book down, covering his eye once more. "Well; it's clear that Rei put some of his chakra in the book."
"Why?" Kiba growled.
"Well my guess is he wanted to try to erase Ryn's memories again." The Hokage sighed and Kiba and I gasped. "But I guess since he reset you when you were five he also gave you an immunity to his power. Well I shouldn't say immunity, but you agitate it."
I shook my head. "I don't understand, what does that mean?"
He scratched his head. "Think of it like this." He held up the book. "This book is a shirt. Rei's Jutsu is dirt. Rei got this shirt really dirty. But then you come in, you are water, you make the shirt cleaner, but since there is no soap there are still traces of the dirt left behind. Get it?"
My eyebrows knit together, I was still confused but I nodded anyway. "Sure, but what do we about Yuu and Nai now?"
"Well, we have to find them-" The Hokage was cut off by yelling outside the door.
"The Hokage is in a meeting right now I can't let you enter!" The door guard yelled.
"I don't care, I have something important to tell him!" Another voice shouted back.
"I'm really popular today, aren't I?" The Hokage deadpanned. I giggled then jumped when the doors opened and a ninja ran through and up to the Hokage's desk.
"Kakashi! You'll never guess what happened!" The ninja spoke as I observed him. He had blonde hair and wore an orange and black jumpsuit, he spoke fervently. "Gaara's baby was kidnapped! What do we do?!" I noticed Kiba stiffened when he said this.
The Hokage sighed. "Naruto, calm down, I'm sure Gaara's got it under control, I'm working on something else right now." He gestured to us.
The boy, Naruto, turned around to look at us. "Oh, hi Kiba, and Kyamyi, didn't see you there." He laughed nervously and scratched the back of his neck. "Wait a minute! Kyamyi?! What are you doing here?!" He shouted at me and I shrunk back.
Kiba rolled his eyes. "Naruto you baka, can't you see that this is clearly not Kyamyi."
Naruto squinted his eyes at me. "Huh? What's he talkin' about, Kyamyi?"
"Um, sorry, but I think you've got me confused with someone else." I said softly.
Naruto tilted his head."Ohh, I get it, you're under cover looking for the kidnappers, right?" He whispered, elbowing me in the arm.
Kiba facepalmed. "Naruto, just shut up-"
"Naruto, what exactly did you hear about Gaara's and Kyamyi's child's Kidnapping?" The Hokage cut in.
Naruto jumped in surprise at his name but started to talk. "Well I had just finished a couple of bowls of Miso ramen from Ichiraku's, and I was walking around trying to find Hinata 'cause she told me to go look for her after I finished my errands because she wanted to talk to me about something important.. which reminds me that I have to go see her soon or else I'll forget... maybe I should stop and get her some Ramen to apologize for taking so long, yeah I think she'd like that, I'll get her beef, it's her favorite. I wonder what she wants to tal-"
"Naruto!" The Hokage yelled at the blonde ninja.
He Jumped again. "Huh? Oh right! I was walking from eating Ramen and I overheard some Chuunin talking, saying the Kazekage put out a search to find two ninja who had kidnapped his child. I ran right here cause I remember you spoke to me this morning about the two kidnappers on the loose."He finished.
I looked over to Kiba, an irk mark was visible on his temple. "What does this have to do with the problem at hand, Kakashi?!" He yelled, but there was something else in his voice... I think it was worry.
The Hokage handed me Rei's log back. "Theses sketches I have are of the two kidnappers I talked to you about this morning, Ryn just identified them as her two uncles. My guess is Rei told them to go Kidnap the Kazekage's son knowing they wouldn't get out alive, just like his last group."
"What?!" I gasped, and I saw Kiba's eyes widen.
"Who's Ryn?" Naruto asked.
We all ignored Naruto. "I suggest you go look for them now, because if Gaara finds them first Yuu and Nai will be six feet under sand."
My eyes widened and my mouth gaped. "Kiba! We have to do something!" I yelled at him, looking up into his eyes.
Kiba looked down at me, eyes hollow. "I know, I know... Just, Just give me a minute." He took a deep breath.
"Kiba we don't have a minute! You heard what the Hokage said!" I yelled frantically. I didn't want my uncles to die, but they will if we don't act soon.
Kiba opened his mouth to say something but he closed it when the door guard walked in and went over to the Hokage to whisper in his ear. The Hokage nodded and the guard was dismissed.
"So there's good news and bad news." Kakashi said coolly.
We all looked at him. "What's the good news?" I asked.
"We now know where Yuu and Nai are hiding out."
"And the bad news?" Kiba pushed.
"So does Gaara."
Bonding time Pt. 2
Kiba's POV
Shit, shit, shit. This is bad. This is really bad. We were making our way to the location Kakashi gave us, and honestly I didn't think we would get there before Gaara, let alone before he killed Yuu and Nai. Ryn was riding on Akamaru, she wasn't fast enough to keep up with me on foot and she insisted on coming. And it was because she was riding on Akamaru that we weren't going full speed; the added weight slowed my dog down, not saying Ryn was fat or anything, she couldn't weigh more than 140, but I wasn't going to ask her.
At this rate we could keep going for about two hours then find a place to rest for tonight. We could get an early start tomorrow and reach the place around noon. Damn I wish Shino and Hinata were here, I'm sure things would be easier. But Hinata was busy being happy with Naruto and Shino had his wife, Risa, Kyamyi's cousin. Everybody had someone, except me. Well, I have Akamaru but that's different, I can't kiss Akamaru... well, I can but-
"Kiba." Ryn's whisper pulled me out of my thoughts. "I'm sorry." She was holding on to Akamaru's back as we weaved through trees. Her face was buried between his shoulder blades so her voice was a little muffled.
My eyebrows knit together. "What the hell are you talking about?"
"I dragged you into this mess, if I hadn't picked you up in the forest you probably would be at home relaxing right now."Her voice soft.
"I'm glad you picked me up, otherwise I wouldn't have another friend, you'd be all alone in that house when Rei left, and Yuu and Nai wouldn't have a chance right now."
"You mean that?" She asked. "You're really okay with helping me, chai?"
"Of course, what are friends for?" I chuckled... she found it less than amusing, though.
"I don't know what friends are for, I never really had one... All because of.. because of him." Her voice started to raise. "To think he was someone I trusted, someone who I saw as family, chai."
"Don't blame yourself for it, he manipulated you. He molded you to think highly of him," I bit my lip. "I'm just glad you can't be manipulated by his power anymore, think what he could have done if he could make you forget."I winced at the thought.
"Yeah but he never tried anything, if he did then he would have known his chakra in the book wasn't going to work."
"Are you sure? Like did you ever see something and he looked at you hand he was like 'forget' and you just went along with it?" This got me curious, what if his technique did work on her and the chakra in the book was already agitated before Ryn got a hold of it. What if everything written in the book was a lie?
"No, I'm sure. Rei kept me locked up most of my life..." She got quiet for a moment. "Though I do remember going to sleep and waking up in new places, Yuu and Nai would tease me saying I was the deepest sleeper they knew or that I just wanted to get out of packing."
I narrowed my eyes. "Paralysis jutsu, he put you to sleep so you wouldn't know where you were or where to run."
She shook her head. "But he did let me out, I could go out to fields and restock my medicine cabinet. That's how I was able to meet you, chai."
I clenched my jaw. "But did he ever let you go to a grocery store, did he ever send you into town, with people?"
"Alright, alright, we know Rei is a bad guy, can we change the subject please?
I smiled. "Sure, we have another few miles before we rest, I say it'll take about an hour."
She scoffed. "That long? Geez, I might as well take a nap." She joked.
"Don't do that, you might lose your grip and me and Akamaru might lose you to the forest floor." I chuckled. Akamaru barked laugh.
"Ugh don't remind me." She rolled her eyes, she made it very clear that she was not afraid of heights, only afraid of falling from one.
"Don't worry, in about twenty minutes the trees will thin out and we'll be on solid-well sandy ground."She sighed her approval and after that it was quiet for awhile. I looked over to her and it looked like she was struggling to say something. "Spit it out." I said gently, not really wanting to force her to say something she didn't want to say.
After awhile she finally whispered something my ears were barely able to pick it up. "Who... who is Kyamyi, chai?"
Without thinking I blurted out. "Someone you look like."
She pouted. "How do you know she doesn't look like me, chai? How old is she, chai?"
"She's twenty." I said simply, and she replied with an 'oh'.
"Wait a minute, I'm twenty, too, chai.. I'm twenty.. also, chai." She blurted.
I raised an eyebrow. "That's right, so when is your birthday?"
"Well, I don't really know, chai." She buried her face in Akamaru's shoulders again. "I only learned about birthdays when I was ten- I mean fifteen, when I read about it in a book. I asked Rei about it and he said that he knew about them but he didn't think I'd be interested. He said that birthdays were really only for little kids and that 'big girls' didn't really care about them." She took a deep breath. "I wanted to impress him so I didn't push him on it but secretly I always made a cake on the first of January to celebrate my birthday, and saying it was just for the new year."
"That's horrible." I whispered, she nodded, and I chose to get off the subject of Rei again. "But if your birthday is January first, then you would be older than her. Her birthday is in September."
She smiled and nodded. "That's right I am, so she looks like me, chai." We laughed together.
~~~~

We just settled down in our hotel room and man, could I go for a drink. Ryn was taking a shower though, and I didn't want to leave her alone. The room we got luckily had two beds and I lay on mine gazing at the ceiling. Akamaru, who I had to sneak in because of the hotels' stupid no pets allowed rule, was sitting lazily at the foot of the bed, he was exhausted from carrying Ryn all day. I was still wide awake, and yearning for that bedtime drink. I pondered leaving her a note when she stepped out wearing violet colored jogging pants, and a gray tank top, her hair, still a little wet was up in a bun. Kami, was that that tank top tight on her... every curve.... I shook my head to clear my less than appropriate thoughts.

I got up from the bed. "I'm going to get a drink, I'll be back in an hour or so, don't wait up." I said softly making my way to the door and strategically kept my eyes away from her body.

"Wait!" She called to me.

I turned to look at her.. feet, they were cute small little things. "Yeah?"

"Can I come too? I mean I am old enough, that's for sure, and I never tasted it before."

"You mean you never even had a sip for your new year's-slash-birthday celebration?" I asked looking up into her eyes.

She shook her head. "Rei told me alcohol was a man's' drink."

I thought for a while. "I don't know if you could get away with it, I mean you don't have an ID, and you look like a fifteen year old." I chuckled. She pouted and looked at her feet. "But come on, what have you eaten today? Let's get some dinner. And maybe you'll accidentally grab my glass instead of your own." I grinned. She jumped for joy, literally, she jumped up and down, clapping her hands... and the motion made her chest... I got my jacket out of the closet and thrust it at her. "Here, it's chilly out there.

"Oh, thanks." She smiled up at me. Wearing my oversized jacket made her look even younger, I grinned back at her.

I opened the door for her, said a 'See you later' to Akamaru who was struggling to keep his eyes open, and we were off, walking out of the hotel and down the street to a small restaurant, I picked us a booth seat and we both sat on either sides. Ryn looked a little uneasy, just like when we were walking through Konoha this afternoon. Staring at all the people in wonder she didn't notice when the waitress came by and she jumped when she sat down menus in front of us. Maybe this was a bad idea, I mean this was only her second time out in public.

She stared down at the menu in front of her and then looked at me. I picked my menu up and and she mirrored me, watching me closely. "You look through this and pick out want you want to eat."

She looked through the menu, her eyebrows knitted. "There's so much to choose from... I don't even know what half of these things are..." She whispered to herself. I put my menu down and she looked at me. "I-I'll just have what you have." she said flustered. "...What are you having?"

"Beef Ramen." I said simply, originally I was going to have Sukiyaki, but thought better of it and went with something simpler for her sake. She sighed in relief and leaned back, putting her menu down.

The waitress came back and took our orders.

Ryn's POV

I read a lot as a kid, I mean, it was one of the only things I was free to do. Though, some of the books were tampered with, like I don't know the end to Cinderella because the pages were ripped out. All I know is the clock stroked twelve and she ran away. I made up little endings myself, with bits and pieces of other love stories I read. Love stories and fairy tales were my favorite, maybe because secretly I wished to be whisked away by my very own prince.

It's because I read a lot of love stories that I know the waitress liked Kiba, and she wasn't trying to hide it.

"What can I get you, handsome?" She asked Kiba, winking at him.

Kiba payed no attention to her flirting. "Uhh, can we get two bowls of beef Ramen?"

"Sure thing hun." She wrote on her little notepad. "And to drink?"

"I'll have sake... and..." He looked over to me.

The waitress smiled at me. "Should I bring a juice or a milkshake for the little lady?"

I frowned. "I'm twenty." I grunted.

The waitress laughed, and touched Kiba's shoulder. "Kids these days want to grow up so fast." She shook her head.

I grit my teeth. "I'll have water, thanks."

"Alright, I'll be back with those drinks in a few." She gave Kiba a smile and pat his shoulder. She took our menus then walked off to get what we ordered.

"I don't like her." I expressed. Looking down at my hands in my lap.

He failed to contain his laughter. "Why not?"

"She's too flirty." I pouted.

"She is? I didn't notice." He raised his eyebrows.

I looked at him to see if he was lying and his face told me he was totally serious. "She was doing it so openly, it was really annoying."

He shook his head, laughing again. "She probably just wants a good tip."

I huffed. "I don't think so."

"Aww is Ryn jealous?" He mused.

I felt my face heat up. I frowned. "No, she was just annoying me." I crossed my arms over my chest.

"Then why are you blushing?" He chuckled.

"Because I can." I barked.

Evils' End

A|N: I suck at drawing, but above is what Kotoni looks like.

Kyamyi's POV

The journey to where the kidnappers were hiding out was longer than I expected. I didn't complain, the running and jumping was a welcomed change of pace for me as I remained close to dormant the past nine months. I could see Gaara a few meters ahead of me as we passed through a town, villagers scampering through the streets. I knew he couldn't see me, probably only sensing my chakra; he wouldn't recognize me, I transformed into the first villager I saw. She had brown hair and green eyes, she was about 5'3" it was nice being tall for a change- well taller than I was at 4'11". I sensed Kotoni's chakra faintly behind me, I knew she probably picked up a new face too, just in case because her and I look alike. I would never admit it before, but I do bear quite a resemblance to my older sister. We shared the same face shape and eye color, we even smiled similarly. We're not identical, though, I always wanted a twin growing up, one who I could talk to freely, and we could bond over how much Kotoni annoyed us.

I smiled at the memory of my imaginary friend I had growing up, I named her Kyuko, and I told her everything. I remember she was the source of my comfort after my dad died. Kotoni thought I was weird for having an imaginary friend and when I went to school, I was excluded from most games the other kids played, because I was quiet and shy, but I didn't care, I had Kyuko. As I grew up though, I made a few friends and stopped my adventures with Kyuko, I made a promise to never forget her and I've kept that promise.

Gaara's POV

This plan was going to work, I could feel it. Jeison would be back with us, I'd make sure to be home as much as I could, Kotoni could stay around if she wanted, I'd even try to make better friends with Shikamaru. Maybe even Kankuro and Anha would get together. Everyone I loved could be happy. And the thought of them happy made me hopeful.

I sensed Kyamyi's chakra behind me, I didn't bother to look back I'm sure she changed her face. Kotoni's chakra was a little more faint as she was further behind. We've been traveling for about an hour since ten this morning, and I say it should be about twenty more minutes before we become face to face with the two men who dared to mess with my family. I was ready for anything. If they harmed him... If they harmed my son in any way, they would die the slowest, most painful death in history.

On a happier note, I was close, maybe about fifteen minutes away from the spot that my son's kidnappers were hiding out. Fifteen minutes from getting my revenge. I had it all planned out in my head, I would pick one to die first so the other could watch, and then kill the other slowly as he begs for his life. Just what the two deserved for stealing my son and traumatizing my wife. This isn't even their first felony, It pains me to think of the other families who must have had an encounter with the two villains. I hope they didn't strike before in my village.

I was so close now, my heart beat fast in my chest as adrenaline coursed through me. The sand at my feet vibrated at my footfall, they were fools to hide outon my home turf. Sand as far as the eye could see, there for my advantage. I slowed down a little, as I sensed two faint chakras ahead, I grinned when two figures came into view, but quickly hid my glee and put on a sullen face. I started walking when I was about five meters away from them. They smirked at me and I made myself frown deeper.

"Haha, so panda-boy decided to show his face after all." The orange haired one who I now know is Yuu, snickered.

"That's close enough." Nai, the blue haired on held his arm up to me, telling me to stop when I was about ten steps away from them.

"Where is my son? Where is J-Jeison?" I made my voice sound vulnerable to go with my demeanor. "I-I have the money, it's right here." I pulled the bag with the money out of my coat, not that they would live long enough to lay a finger on any of it.

Nai crossed his arms over his chest. "Hand over the money, and we'll have no trouble returning your brat." He grunted.

Show time. I dropped the money bag on the ground and fell to my knees soon after. "Please, tell me he's still alive, he's only an infant, My wife is at home now, she wont eat or sleep, she's slowly killing herself and I have no idea what to do if I don't get Jeison back."

Yuu scoffed. "An infant? He has the lungs of an opera singer, I had night duty and, kami, I don't know how single moms do it. How old was he again?"

"Not even a month old." I whispered, dropping my head to look at the ground below me.

"A month?! You let us take your month old child?! That's horrible."

I clenched my jaw to hold my anger back. All they or I should say these clones were doing was stalling, other clones were probably searching they way I came from making sure I didn't bring back up, and the real Yuu and Nai were probably hiding out somewhere, Kyamyi, I'm sure was searching for them now.

"Please, please, just give me my baby back." I whispered.

"Does it look like we have him? I think you're going blind, Panda-kun."

My head shot up and I almost growled at that name but I suppressed it. "What do you mean, where is he then?"

"Stop being a worry-wort, we just have to make sure you weren't followed, then you will get your child back, saf-" Nai was cut off a scream, then a whistle. The whistle was the signal that Kyamyi had found the real Yuu and Nai, the scream however wasn't planned. I immediately fixed my face and crushed the two clones in front of me, their existence ended with a poof sound and I picked up the bag of money, securing it in my coat and made my way hastily in the direction of the scream and whistle.

Kyamyi's POV

I sniffed the two ninja out quickly, memorizing the smell of Yuu's blood after I scratched him at our first encounter. I stayed hidden and watched them. They were in a cave, Yuu held my baby, Nai was standing off to the side at the entrance, his eyes scanning the landscape. I took a moment to do the same, there were many boulders surrounding us sitting in the sand, and a little off in the distance you could see the village we had to pass through to get here. I hid behind a log, it was hollowed out and dusted with sand. If I had to guess, the ground we were standing on had to be a lake at one point.

I watched as Yuu, cooed to Jeison, but my son wasn't having it, he didn't laugh or giggle, he wouldn't even crack a smile but a grin was prominent on my face. It was time. I closed my eyes and took a deep breath, I did the hand-signs for my Kekkei Genkai, the spirit release, it's been a while, the last time I did it was before my pregnancy, as doing it during could harm the baby. I opened my eyes and ears and listened and watched. I heard three breaths, two long and the other short. I herd Yuu's cooing like he was saying it in my ear and not Jeison's.

"You are a handsome devil, aren't you? Keeping us up in the middle of the night? Ah, it's okay you miss your mommy and daddy? They'll be here to get you, they just have to pay uncle Nai and I first for babysitting you."

I nearly growled at his words. I snapped out of it when I heard Kotoni's footfalls in the distance behind me, she would be here in under a minute. I gritted my teeth, and Nai turned his head away from my direction. I grinned and sped in, easily taking my son out of Yuu's arms, I then ran away till I was about ten feet away from them and smiled at the dumbfounded looks on their faces. Everything they did was in slow motion to me, that sounds good but is actually the effect of my jutsu wearing off, I bluffed my way through it. Nai took a slow step forward, well it probably was normal paced but it seemed like forever until his foot touched the ground again. I took a large step back, to them I was probably teleporting. They spoke, and it came so slowly to me I could barely focus to make any words out, Kotoni needed to get here, and quick-

"Oh, not in the talkative mood today?"Nai sneered. and I heard it at normal pace, my Jutsu wore off and I growled.

Yuu took a step forward this time, and I took one back, and both their eyes narrowed.

"What, don't think you need to use your freaky speed anymore, Miss Ryn look-a-like." Yuu said, putting his hands on his hips. "What are you doing, waiting for your husband? cause you know you won't win this fight, you gave me a few good scars, but I won't let that happen again."

I eyed the bandage around his arm, and the small ones on his face, and grinned at his bruised nose. "I came alone, for your information." I lied.

"Ahh, she speaks!" Yuu announced excitedly. "Oh yeah, and this is going to hurt, but don't worry." He eyed something behind me.

I turned my head only to notice Nai coming at me full speed, sword in-hand and ready to strike. Before I knew it I was pushed to the ground, I rolled on my back so I wouldn't fall on Jeison. I found the person who pushed me was my sister, and our eyes met and widened together as Nai's sword slashed her back. She screamed in pain, falling to the ground on her knees, and I whistled loudly, my signal for Gaara to come. I got up quickly before Nai could realize what happened, when he did his eyes widened and he looked from me to Kotoni. Yuu, ran over to us as the Nai clone that was by the cave poofed away. I mentally slapped myself for only following Yuu's scent and not making sure Nai was also authentic.

I jumped away from them, holding my baby close to my heart, hoping not to shake him up too bad. I took a breath of relief as Gaara appeared in front of me, and using his sand control, he brought my sister over to my side gently. I got a glimpse at the gash on her back, it cut through her clothes.

"Ky, get her and Jeison out of here." Gaara said calmly to me.

I nodded and lifted Kotoni from off the ground tenderly, wrapping my arm around her waist, trying to avoid her injury, she groaned, but didn't protest. I turned around and saw Yuu behind me.

"Ah, ah, ah, not so fast." He clicked his tongue. I narrowed my eyes but smirked when I saw sand wrap around his ankles, I ran off, only looking back to see him try to follow me and belly flop on the floor.

Even without using my Kekkei Genkai I was a fast runner but I didn't want to jostle any of my precious cargo, also Kotoni's weight was slowing me down a little. I pushed on. I only stopped when I felt I was far enough away from the battle, and close to the village. I set Kotoni down so she was sitting on her butt, and leaned her against a convenient boulder. I knelt in front of her and looked into her eyes.

"How are you holding up?" I asked quietly.

She grimaced. "I could be better." She groaned. "I'll live." she added. I nodded, and sighed in relief, but that relief went away when I realized Gaara was out there fighting alone. "Give me Jeison." She held her arms out.

I tilted my head. "What?"

"Go, fight with your husband."

My eyes widened. "How did you-"

She chuckled. "I know you, little sis. You'd just feel guilty if something happened and you weren't even there to help."

"But what about you?"

"I'll be fine, just get back quick." She groaned.

I nodded and handed her my baby. "Take care."

"Oh, and Kyamyi, don't get too beat up, then I'll have to live with Papa Gaara's rath." She smirked.

I smiled back at her and gave her a two-finger salute, then I was off. I ran as fast as I could and I was there in about three minutes. Gaara was fighting Yuu, and when he spotted me his calm face was taken over by worry. Probably knowing he wouldn't get me to leave he gave me a battle update. "Yuu sprung at me and Nai went into hiding, see if you can sniff him out." He told me then focused back on Yuu who was trying to break his defense.

I wasn't going to use my Kekkei Genkai not after the first fiasco, so I settled on using my normal, but still enhanced senses. I sniffed the air, and listened, sure he wouldn't go too far, in case his partner needed help. My guess he was close enough to see the fight, but far enough to run away if things got too risky. I looked around and saw a log the perfect distance. I listened and walked closer, I heard a heartbeat and shallow breathing. The beat quickened as I got closer and I started to smell him. I smirked. "Hey Nai, how 'bout you show yourself and we settle this like real ninja."

A laugh came from behind the log and I watched as he stood up and hopped over it. "Ahh, like real ninja? You really think you're on my level, eh?" He bluffed, and I would have believed it, his pulse had slowed down, he wasn't sweating or anything, He could be the master of the poker face. But his pulse before wasn't a lie, he was scared for his life.

"No, I know I'm not on your level, because I'm way above your level." I smirked.

He clicked his tongue. "Bluffing is bad for you, it messes with your head, it makes you believe you're something you're not."

I laughed aloud. "You should speak for yourself."

"And what if I am?" he narrowed his eyes. "Oh, Kazekage's Wife. Your life is so luxurious, I bet. Having not only a rich husband, but a strong protector, too? You mustn't have to lift a finger at home. That's probably why you lost hopelessly to us when we fought at your home."

Hmm, so his plan is to mess with my head again? "Yeah... no. Gaara is a great person, I didn't marry him for his strength or protection, I married him because I love him. We married as equals and that's what we are now."

"Ha! You equal to Gaara? He has sand, you have what? That sword on your back?" He laughed.

I smirked. "Oh this?" I reached behind me and gripped the hilt of my sword. "I like to call this Evils' End."

"Hn. I'd like to know why you call it that." He smirked and reached back for his own sword. "I'll show you mine if you show me yours."

"Well.. I call it that because you're evil," I drew my sword and held it in front of me, a little surprised not to be met with the blue flames of my memories , but with new, red-orange flames. "and this will be your end."

Nai didn't falter one bit, not that I was expecting him to. "Impressive. Flames. I wasn't expecting that." He drew his sword and made the first strike, I blocked it expertly, the sword always was my favorite weapon, that and my stringed Kunai.

We did the same strike and block moves for a few minutes then I started noticing his open spots, and I became aware of his technique. I let him push me back.

"Thats enough," I heard Gaara say to Yuu in the distance.

Nai smirked, unknowingly. I'm sure he thought he had the upper hand. "Thats enough." I mimicked Gaara and swung my sword in the direction of Nai's open spot, which happened to be his neck.

Team Up

Nai smirked, unknowingly. I'm sure he thought he had the upper hand. "Thats enough." I mimicked Gaara and swung my sword in the direction of Nai's open spot, which happened to be his neck.

It all happened so quick my brain barely processed everything. A voice yelled "Stop!" then someone intercepted my blow to Nai, and I barely stopped my blade in time. Standing there, with her hand to my flaming sword, was a girl about my height, she wore her black hair up in a messy bun, her skin had to be about two tones lighter than mine. But her appearance is not what I focused on. What my eyes were fixed on and what shook my whole being with fright and surprise, was where her hand met with my sword the flames of that spot were not my red orange but green, like when you burn copper and alcohol.

The girl followed my eyes and looked just as surprised as me. She dropped her hand just as I withdrew my sword, I sheathed it, and went to a defensive position.

"Ryn, what are you doing here?" Nai said to the girl, also sheathing his sword.

The girl, Ryn, turned and spoke to him. "They are not your enemies, Nai."

"You know these... kidnappers?" I spat the word and narrowed my eyes.

She turned back to me. "You must be Kyamyi, then." She said, eying my sword. "I came here to apologize for them and explain some things."

"Apologize?" Nai sneered. "What the hell are you talking about, Ryn?"

I growled. "It's too late for apologies."

"Wait, just let me explain! Akamaru, bring Yuu over here!" She called to somebody behind me.

My eyes widened. "Akamaru?" I looked behind me, and sure enough, there was the large white canine, holding Yuu in his mouth by the back of his shirt, a little behind him was none other than his master and best friend Kiba. I looked around and got worried when I didn't see Gaara, but sighed when a tornado of sand appeared on my side and dissipated to reveal my husband, he stood close to me, obviously not enjoying the newcomers' presence.

Akamaru and Kiba made their way over to us quickly. The large dog dropped Yuu at our feet and he landed with a thud and a groan but got up quickly. "Oh, hi, Ryn, what are you doing here?"

"Hi, Yuu." She said softly.

I cleared my throat. "Excuse me, but you were supposed to be giving me a reason not to slice all of you right now."

"Kyamyi, calm do-" Kiba started.

"Don't tell my wife what to do." Gaara growled. "Now you," He said to the girl, his Kazekage voice clear. "speak."

The girl nodded, a little intimidated. "I came here to tell you that Kidnapping your child was not their idea, they were acting under someone, and that someone has betrayed them, and me."

Nai's eyes widened. "What are you saying?"

"I'm saying Rei sent you on this mission to kidnap the Kazekage's child because he knew it was a mission you wouldn't come back from." She said to the bluenette. "After you left, Rei had packed up all of his things and he left, he asked me to come with him but I refused. Rei is evil." Her voice faltered a bit and I kind of felt sorry for her.

"Why would our brother do that?" Nai asked skeptically.

Kiba spoke up this time. "That's another thing, that guy, Rei, isn't your brother, he has this freaky Kekkei genkai that steals and replaces memories, he even stole Ryn away from her family when he was five, he probably did the same to you two."

"Where's your proof?" Yuu asked.

"Right here." Ryn held up a small book, turned to a page and gave it to Yuu. Yuu's eyes scanned over the page and he paled.

Nai's eyes narrowed. "Let me see that." He took the book and read and had the same reaction as Yuu. He dropped the book to ground and followed after it, kneeling and bowing his head.

"So, our whole life has been a lie.....?" Yuu whispered to himself, his eyes glazing over, his mouth hanging agape.

Nai found is way over to me, still kneeling he grabbed both of my hands in his, Gaara growled a bit and Nai spoke. "Please, please forgive us. It wasn't our choice to start kidnapping, but our leader- our former leader had us believe that was the only fast way to make money. If it was our choice we would never think of kidnapping. We were made to believe kidnapping was the only choice-"

At this point Gaara pushed me away from him gently, stepping in between us. "Listen here you, there is no reason I shouldn't kill you right now-" My husband said in a dark tone.

I cut him off, caution in my voice. "Gaa-"

"Wait, Kyamyi, you didn't let me finish." He cut me off this time. "There's no reason I should not punish you but I won't-"

"Thank you, Kazekage-sama." Nai bowed his head, adding more effect to his kneeling form.

"There is a 'but'."

"Anything, I- we will do anything."Nai choked, Yuu nodded vigorously behind him.

"I'm glad you're both so eager for community service." Gaara smirked.

Nai looked up at Gaara. "Is that all?"

Gaara crossed his arms over his chest. "Oh, and killing your former leader, well more like helping me track him down so I can end his life, by my terms."

"Gladly." Both Yuu and Nai's faces darkened.

"Oh, and one more thing," I popped my head around Gaara so they could see me better. "You," I pointed to Nai. "must apologize to my sister, you know, the girl you long sworded earlier."

Nai's eyes widened. "Of course." He stood. "Take me to her at once."

This time Kiba spoke. "How 'bout we all get out of here, desert plains aren't exactly my happy place... I hate being out in the open." We all looked around and nodded. I started walking, dragging Gaara along with me, and gesturing to the others to follow.

Truce

I led the small group to where my sister and son rested. We ran, Kiba and Akamaru and the girl were behind me, I was surprised when she got on the dog's back. Yuu and Nai were behind them, looking grim, Yuu looked as if he was going to throw up. Gaara flanked us all, still not trusting anybody. I couldn't go my full speed but we still made good time. Kotoni smiled when she spotted me, her expression changed when she saw the others.

"Oh shit, am I hallucinating?" she said quietly.

"No, they really are here. We came to a... resolution." I said as I knelt in front of her.

"Oh, great." she sighed in relief and held out Jeison for me, I took him instinctively and stood.

There was footsteps behind us and I remembered Nai. "Oh yeah, this guy is gonna appologize to you." I gestured to Nai and he stepped closer, taking a knee in front of my sister.

"Kotoni?" he asked and she nodded. "I never ment for any harm to come to anyone- to you. My brother and I were pawns in someone else's plan. Though we followed the orders of this person, hurting you was my choice in action, I take full responsibility. If I could take it back, I would, I never wanted to hurt anyone ever-"

He stopped when Kotoni placed a hand on his shoulder, her eyes droopy. "You talk... a lot." she said then her eyes closed and her chin dropped to her chest, her hand falling to her side.

"Toni!" I yelled in surpise. I dropped to my knees, shifting Jeison to my left arm and touching her cheek with my right hand. My eyes widened when I made contact with cold skin.

"No!" Nai yelled, and he looked back at the girl currently sitting on Akamaru's back. "Ryn, help!"

She looked surprised at her name but she  acted quickly, making her way over to us she felt for a pulse, her face serious. "She's alive." my heart slowed a little, but I kept looking at my sister's face. Ryn checked her back and paled. "She has lost a lot of blood." Her eyes searched around us. "I need something to compress the wound...." she trailed off.

Gaara moved then, he took the bag of money out of his coat and looked between Kiba and Yuu, deciding to hand it to the latter, he took off his coat and walked over to us, handing it to Ryn.

"Perfect." she ripped the sleeves off and folded the rest of the coat into a rectangle. She looked at me from behind her. "Hold her up." I nodded and handed Jeison over to Gaara and moved my hands to her limp shoulders. Ryn pressed the folded piece to the gash on Kotoni's back. She held it in place and grabbed one of the sleeves, placing it at the top of the rectangular piece, she brought the two ends around. "Can one of you tie the ends?" she asked me and Nai. My hands were holding her in place so Nai had to tie the fabric... Right under her boobs, I gritted my teeth. He finished quickly, though, and then his hands moved to tie the second sleeve right above her hips.

"We need to get her to a hospital, quickly." Ryn's voice was clear. I furrowed my eyebrows and looked to Gaara.

My husband shook his head sadly. "There isn't a hospital for miles."

"But there is that village ahead." I nodded toward the buildings that were off a little in the distance. "It's a travelers town, only for people passing through. They should have supplies, and a place to rest, though. Do you think you can patch her up personally?" I looked into her Brown eyes and I distantly noted they resembled my own.

"She can." Yuu, who was mostly quiet spoke. A serious tone laced his voice that sounded like it belonged to Nai, and not the cheery Orange haired man. "She has brought me back from the brink of death more than a few times."

I nodded. That's all I needed, I wiped my watery eyes and began to lift my sister off the ground. Nai stopped me. "Let me, please." his voice broken and his green eyes dim. I narrowed my eyes but let him pick up and cradle Kotoni's skinny frame, minding her back. Gaara returned Jeison to my arms and he took the bag of money back from Yuu.

Ryn returned to Akamaru's back and Gaara decided to lead the group into the town. I stayed close to Nai and kept my eyes on my sister, making sure her chest still moved at with her breathing. I kept Jeison's face shielded from the wind and he started to doze off.

Even though we weren't going full speed we still made it to the town in under ten minutes, we split up then. Yuu, and Nai holding my sister went with Gaara to get us rooms at a hotel. I went with Ryn, Kiba, and the dog to get supplies to help patch Kotoni up. Gaara wasn't too happy to leave me and Jeison with the dog boy but with some persuasion I was able to convince him to let me go.

We gathered everything quickly and made it back to the only hotel in the town. Yuu was waiting out front for us.

"Panda-kun was only able to get us three rooms." he said, but his deeper tone still foreign. He showed us to a room, Ryn opened the door and we found Nai sitting on the floor. His back against the bed Kotoni was resting on. His head turned to us as we walked in, but Ryn quickly shooed him and the other males -excluding my baby- out of the room and went to work.

I sat quietly with my son on a duplicate bed 5 feet away. How could I let this happen to my sister? After all she's done to redeem herself I go and let her get sliced in the back. I should have been more careful, I should have noticed Nai behind me sooner. It should be me getting worked on, me getting stiched up, me passed out. I stroked my baby's head, soft tufts of black hair loosely blanketed it. His big eyes looked into mine and calmed me. I kissed his forehead and took in his scent which calmed me even further. I stayed like that, my eyes closed, and I drifted off to my happy place.

"Kyamyi?" someone calling me pulled me out of my thoughts. I opened my eyes and looked up at Ryn, her kind eyes looked at me and she smiled softly. My gaze went to my sister, under blankets, snoring gently, I never thought I would be happy to hear snoring.

"Thank you." I told the girl sincerely.

She nodded. "I'm going to find Kiba and Yuu and Nai." she looked at the door and back to me. "Do you need anything else?"

"No." I shook my head. "But if you see Gaara could you send him my way?"

"Of course." she walked over to the door, opening it, she steped out.

"Thank you, again." I said softly before she closed the door and she smiled back at me.

I rocked Jeison in my arms as I heard the door open and my husband stepped in. I looked up at him and his gaze softened as he took my sister's sleeping image in. He made eye contact with me and we both smiled at each other. He came over to kneel in front of me and rest his head in my lap, his arms snaked around me and hugged me close. I held my son in one hand and stroked my husbands hair with the other.

End.

Since Naruto came to an end I've had no inspiration to continue with this story. Sorry to any readers who became invested in this book. I had high hopes and so many plans but no motivation to write it down. I really wish I could finish it but my interest levels when writing for this story are deathly low.

So, what this means is that no more formal chapters for this story will be written. In the future this might change, I might come back to it and revive it but only time will tell. Right now, all I can promise is that I might get around to editing the chapters I have written now.

Another thing, I have so many notes for this story and where I wanted it to go, I might just post those here so you can get an idea of what happens to Kyamyi and all the rest.

I started The New Girl back in 2012, and Kyamyi has been apart of me ever since, I hope this story has brought you as much joy as it did for me writing it.

Thank you, readers of the past, present, and future for being a part of this journey.

Need to Know

I woke up in the morning and found my baby staring into my eyes. I smiled at him and he smiled back. I looked over at Kotoni still sound asleep. At least she wasn't whimpering in pain. Her face was peaceful and that put me at ease. Gaara wasn't anywhere around but I didn't panic. A piece of paper on the nightstand told me he went out to get breakfast. I sat up and stretched. My bones ached and my muscles were on fire. I guess that's what I get for being docile for nine months. I looked down at the culprit who made grabby hands at me. "You're worth it," I whispered to him, Jeison is a healthy and happy baby. I went over to Gaara's bag at the end of the bed and pulled out a fresh diaper. I changed my son then started to give his breakfast. That's when Kotoni stirred. Her eyes opened to reveal a sliver of brown. I smiled over at her, she returned the gesture.

"You make a great Mommy." She said quietly. "It fits you."

I was a little surprised at her compliment. Maybe she was in pain. "Thanks." I said and it was quiet for some moments. Jeison stopped drinking and gave a little burp. I put him on my shoulder and started to pat and rub his back.

"I wanna be a mommy." She spoke again.

I raised an eyebrow. "You've had ample opportunity to be a mother. You get a new guy like every week! Everybody wants you."

"Just cause everyone wants me doesn't mean I want to have a baby with everyone. You know this week I'm dating that one kid, Rock Lee. And don't worry, I made sure he was broken up with your little friend Anha first." She was slurring her words.

"Like that has stopped you in the past," I rolled my eyes, though I was still lighthearted. Lee was free game after all.

"Listen, I'm a hoe with morals now." She smirked.

I rolled my eyes. "Sure thing, sis."

"But yeah, he's not really my type. I dunno, I think I'm going to dump him soon." She confessed.

I rocked Jeison in my arms. He was starting to drift off, I'm glad he still kept up our routine. "Got your eyes on anyone else?" I whispered.

"I dunno, that Nai guy is looking pretty cute. He seems so mature." She gave a closed eye smile.

My eyebrows knit together. "He kidnapped my child and wounded you!" I whispered harshly, not wanting to raise my voice to disrupt my baby.

"He's pretty good with his sword, too." She giggled.

I shook my head at my sister. Her giggles eventually died down and her breathing became heavier. She drifted to sleep just as soon as my son. I watched over them both and watched the door. Soon enough my husband came in bags of food in his hand. I set my baby down on the bed as Gaara came over and handed me a bag. I sat it to the side for a moment to stand and hold him. He hugged me back. Our silent love spoke volumes. "Thank you, Gaa~" I whispered to him and he just stroked my hair. We stood in eachothers' embrace for a while until he got fidgety.

"Come on, eat while it's hot, you must be starving." We sat and went to work on our food. I ate more than him, as usual. He pinched my chubby cheek with a soft smile on his face. "This has been an... Experience." He sighed.

I nodded. "What a twist with Yu and Nai. And I know you still loathe Kiba but he stopped us from making a big mistake." I spoke and took another bite.

"That doesn't... That doesn't make up for what he did to you. I will never forgive him. And I hardly can trust him." Gaara growled lowly. His eyes were closed and I could tell he was trying to subdue his rage.

I rubbed his back. "I know this doesn't redeem him, and I'll never forget what he did to me. I'm just saying I'm glad he stopped us."

"And what's with that girl that looks like you, sis? I thought I was seeing double." I hadn't noticed Kotoni's eyes had opened again and she was awake.

"I spoke with her this morning to get her take on things." Gaara said as he handed my sister her serving. "She was raised by Rei, the man pulling all the strings. He has a certain ability that erases memories. I've sent a coded message back to Kankuro to gather up the best tracking ninja in the country. When we get back tonight we will brief them. Kiba also tells be that the leaf ninja are on red alert as well."

My sister picked at her food. "Wow. I would have thought you would head the search for the bastard, Lord Kazekage."

"I would rather stay home and protect my family." He answered quickly. "We have kept this whole situation pretty quiet, but I can't be sure that no word got out about the kidnapping. There could be someone out there who wishes to take things further."

I placed my hand on his clenched fist. "No one would dare."

His sea foam eyes met mine and I saw the pain there. "I'll kill anyone who tries," he whispered to me. "I was careless, too comfortable. I won't allow anyone to get that close again."
