We invite abstract submissions for kwəsəKU 2026: The West African Graduate Student Symposium .
kwəsəKU 2026 will be held at the University of Kansas on September 25, 2026, in the Malott Room, Kansas Union, Lawrence, Kansas. Organized by graduate students and supported by the Department of Linguistics at the University of Kansas, the conference brings together graduate students, early-career scholars, and established researchers from West Africa and beyond. We invite abstracts on research related to West Africa. Abstracts may be submitted for oral presentations.
The conference will be held primarily in person. Information about possible virtual participation will be announced later.
Abstracts should be written in English and submitted in PDF format.
The main text of the abstract should not exceed one page, using a 12-point font and 1-inch margins.
