LIBRARY RULES:
Library rules exist to create a peaceful and productive atmosphere for everyone. These rules typically involve keeping quiet, respecting others, etc. They also ensure proper care of library materials and equipment through borrowing policies and responsible handling guidelines.
LIBRARY RULES:
1) Membership of library is open to Students, Faculty Members, and Administrative staff and also for teaching staff of other colleges.
2) Membership will be given only after completing the required formalities.
3) Students are entitled to get one book at a time for a period of seven days. They will be fined for the delay there after.
4) Members of teaching staff are entitled to get books as follows.
a) Post Graduate Lecturer - 25 books Maximum
b) Senior College Lecturer-50 books Maximum
c) Junior College Lecturer-20 books Maximum
5) Administrative staff is entitled to get Maximum two books at a time.
6) Before taking books from other subject. Prior permission should be taken from the concerned H.O.D. such books should be returned immediately.
7) Staff members should ensure that the exchange of books should take place in their presence only.
8) Reference books, current periodicals, question papers, syllabus, resource material, rare books, etc, will not be issued outside the library.
9) Back dated issues of periodicals will be issued for a period of one week only.
10) Safe custody of the book would be personal responsibility of the borrower. He is solely responsible for any damage or loss.
11) All the books should be returned whenever asked by the librarian.
12) Library committee has rights to amend, alter, add or delete any rules and the same will be binding on the members.
NET CAFE RULES:
Students should use the internet café from 8.00 am to 5.00 pm.
Please complete formalities before using the internet.
Learn basic computer skills.
Use the internet half an hour only. Do the search for free e-books, e-journals, syllabus etc.
Use the web side- "nlist.inflibnet.ac.in" for digital library. (Ask for ID & Password on the counter)
Fill in online application for MPSC, UPSC, NET, SET, CET, Jobs, etc.
Browse the e-mail account for status of job application etc.
Please ask for help if required for surfing on internet.
Do not surf inappropriate sites.
Don't play online computer games.
Don't listen music.
READING ROOM RULES:
The reading room is kept open from 7.30 am. to 5.30 pm.
Only I-card Holders are allowed to use the Reading room.
Reading Materials (Books, Journals, Syllabus, Question Papers etc.) are used on I-card only.
Please return the reading material taken on I-Card before leaving the reading room.
Keep Silence in the reading Room.
