Smt. Kasturbai Walchand College of Arts & Science, Sangli is one of the leading college established on 1960 and permanently affiliated to Shivaji University, Kolhapur. It is one of the progressively growing branch of Latthe Education Society, Sangli and imparting knowledge to the masses of the area. It is established in heritage building with clean and green campus.
The College library was also established in the year of 1960 and has a carpet area of 7400 sq.ft. The Library is well ventilated and disclosed to encourage comfortable seating. The library serves as the main resource of the college for the purpose of facilitating educational activities. The College has been distinctly interested and committed to create its Library as a Learning Resource. Since at that point, library has made reliable advance in terms of collection of Books, Rare books, Printed Journals, E-Journals, CD-DVDs, Newspapers, Reports, e-Resources. Library offers membership to current students & faculty members. The Library is completely computerized permitting capacities like issue, return, OPAC, etc. and have bar-coded it's record collections. Library has automated using PURNA Library Management Software (ILMS). OPAC and other reading material are accessed remotely.

LIBRARY HOURS:
The libraries are primarily for students, faculty, and staff of our institution. They have longer hours during exam periods. Library remains open from 8.00 a.m. to 5.30 p.m. throughout the year except Sunday and public Holidays.
