Bio-pesticide Production Laboratory has been established at Krish I Vigyan Kendra, Akola in financial year 2016-17 by funding agency National Horticulture Misson, Govt. of Maharashtra of fund Received 75.00 Lakh. 

Seed hub project entitle as “Creation of Seed Hub for increasing indigenous production of pulses in India” at KVK, Akola funded by Indian Institute of Pulses Research, Kanpur in the year 2016-2017 . With the initial cost of 150 lakh.

A Shadenet is estabilshed by Krishi Vigyan Kendra, Akola under National Horticulture Mission in 2013-14. The size of Shadenet Demonstration Unit is 18m X 28m (504 sq.m.t). The object of this is to train rural youth.

Static and Mobile Soil Testing Laboratory was established for analysis of Soil for chemical properties ex. pH, EC, OC, Available P & Available K, also analyze the soil samples for fruit crop plantation & micro nutrients.

The Plant tissue analysis lab was started on October, 2021. The Laboratory facilitated to farmer to analysis for various essential nutrients related problems. It measures the nutrient levels in growing crops.

Planth Health Clinic was established under National Horticulture Mission in 2012-13 for diagnosis of the disease samples and suggesting remedies. The Plant Health Clinic advise farmers on pests and diseased plants.

Goatary Unit containing 26 Osmanabadi, Sirohi & Berari goat breed (seven male and Nineteen female) which is very much suitable for the Akola district. The objective to trains the livestock farmers towards establishment of unit.

Dal Mill & Primary Processing Unit established  Funded by DSAO and PDKV, Akola. Use of PKV mini Dal mill  for processing of pulses and other machinery for processing of millets to increase the income and to became an entrepreneur.

Project ‘Shuddhta: Design, Development & Deployment of Electronics Quality Assessment System for Edible Oils’ started at KVK. 43 lakhs received for  the oil extraction unit, biochemical lab, E-nose with support of CDAC Kolkata.
