Lady Antoinette Argentina

Coral Branch

14 November 2020 at Leon Court at Castillo de Ponferrada

I couldn't find much information about Lady Antoinette, so I went with something from Mira Calligraphiae Monumenta, an exemplar that has not only been on my list but is Maestra Livia's March #LaurelWars2020 pick! When I was almost finished I somehow managed to spill a decent amount of ink on this scroll, which was then scraped off.

Text

"Why Fear the undoing, the drooping of hoarfrost That fridigly kills? Petals englossed & succulent fruits, which winters exhaust, Eternally thrive now, bright and uncrossed:Woven by thee, Antoinette Argentina.Thy works are the verdure, which cannot be lost. Brightness for brightness, We repay thy cost; Thus with Coral, the sea-rose, We thy name embossed.Given 14 November AS LV at Leon Court at Castillo de Ponferrada by Anton Rex and Luned Regina of Atlantia."
