When we figured out we all wanted the same linen my friends Ela and Adelaide and I decided it would be fun to make dresses based incredibly roughly on "The Fates". Ela is the spinner, Adelaide the measurer, and I am the cutter. We fully realize this is just for fun, and to push each other to make awesome new garb for ourselves.
It should be noted that I bled more on this garment than any other. I think I cursed myself by being "the cutter" Fate. So many cuts and pokes.

OMG, sleeves!
So this was a problem, I ran out of grey, but Alias Ela had some extra fabric she gave me so I wouldn't look ridiculous with a mostly black skirt. Still trying to get those darn stripes down the skirt farther.
We decided to accent in red. So I made a pater noster-inspired belt. Yes yes yes, Landsknecht were Lutheran. *shrug*
Also, I've never beaded things before. I'm definitely going to leave this to my SCA Auntie Nessie and Alias Ela.
Coral beads!
My skully boys may never come off. I love this one.
