A calligraphy level 2 class on identifying scripts, making a ductus, developing guidelines, & formatting scroll text.
Co-Teacher: Lord Ishmael Stedfast Reed In this class we will cover our process for bard/scribe collaborations to create custom scroll text for an award recipient, from assignment to submission. The material will include multiple methods of compromise between Award text needs, persona-specific needs, scribal needs of layout and length, and more. This class is designed to function partially as a Q&A as well. It is designed for scribes who would like to work with bards, and bards who would like to work with scribes, to connect with each other.
Class designed for those brand new to calligraphy. Introduces tools & materials, how to read a model script from a calligraphy book, tips for best-practices, practice suggestions, suggested next steps, and additional resources. Notes from chat included at the end.
