I am Kunwar Aditya, an electrical engineering researcher specializing in power electronics, linear control systems, and transportation electrification. My research focuses on advancing technologies for electric vehicles, particularly in the areas of wireless charging and energy storage systems. As an Assistant Professor in the Department of Electrical Engineering at IIT Jodhpur, I contribute to academia while actively working on solutions that push the boundaries of sustainable transportation.

Before joining IIT Jodhpur, I gained valuable industry experience in Canada’s automotive sector. In December 2017, I began working as a Hardware Engineer at BorgWarner Inc. in Waterloo, Ontario, where I was involved in the development of an electric vehicle motor controller tailored for 800V battery systems. In April 2019, I moved to Vitesco Technologies Canada in Chatham, Ontario, where I served as a Technical Project Leader. My work there focused on the development and validation of sensors and actuators for electric vehicle thermal management systems, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to bring advanced power electronic solutions to market.

At IIT Jodhpur, I lead research efforts in power electronics and energy storage systems. My goal is to bridge the gap between cutting-edge research and real-world applications in electric mobility, renewable energy integration, and next-generation vehicle technologies.

Beyond research, I remain actively engaged with the academic and professional communities through teaching, publishing, mentoring students. I am a senior member of IEEE.
