Tell me and I'll forget.
Teach me and I'll remember.
Involve me and I'll learn.

As everything gets faster and faster, people are starting to forget to take a minute and breathe, taking in the beauty of the nature all around them. At the same time, there are more and more opportunities to eat processed foods, as they are becoming more affordable than organic or natural foods. These processed foods are usually full of chemicals and have been genetically modified, meaning they won't have the full nutrition compared to a non processed product. In the coming ages, it is important to know how to produce your own nutritious food, as gardening is becoming more and more scarce. I wanted to address this issue by creating an interactive lesson plan that will help students to learn school subjects and life lessons at the same time.
We have established the first garden at Government High School, Karalapakkam (located in Chennai, India). This garden will be maintained by the school, so that many students can learn how to grow their own nutritious food at home. The lesson plan (located in the materials tab) is free for use by anyone who needs a guide to start a garden in their school or community. I kindly ask that you do not reproduce any of the material here and use it as your own, and that you give credit to the owners of each source/attachment when using any of the resources provided on this website.
