We are recruiting!

The Kubes Laboratory is looking for potential new postdocs to work in the area of innate immunity with particular interest in imaging in vivo.

In vivo experience is not needed but use of novel techniques such as single cell RNAseq and/or CRISPR would be welcome. The individual must have a PhD, MD or Vet degree and this should be your first postdoctoral laboratory. The preferred applicant will be 1 year or less post PhD, or clinical training.

The applicant will be recruited to the Department of Microbiology, Immunology and Infectious Diseases and will align with priorities of the Snyder Institute for Chronic Diseases. Imaging, microbiome and innate immunity are key areas of investment and focus. The Kubes laboratory has a very interactive and very collaborative program as can be seen by our latest publications. Particular areas include sterile injury and the immune system (Science: In Press; Immunity 2019; Science 2017; Cell 2016), infections and the immune system (Cell 2020, 2019, Cell Host Microbe 2019;2018, Nature Immunology 2018). Please see our website for more details.
