Notes

Hiring an engineer on an hourly rate is usually suggested for jobs with uncertain timescales. It allows the client to precisely control budget, and end the work at will.

Working on a day rate is recommended for larger jobs that involve different trades.

It allows for having electricians on site as and when required.

When calculating the cost of fixed price work the company will use a reduced hourly rate but an increased allocation of time.

Calculations for work that may be subject to variation (either through the client's changes or unforeseen circumstances) are based on the "Day Rate".

KTEC Electricians do not charge you for the cost of driving to your home. If you do not want us to work at your house there will be no charge for our visit.

We do however, have a minimum charge.

If we commence work at your property we will request that you pay a minimum of £85.00

This charge includes up to 2 hours work and is generally the total cost for small jobs that involve no materials.
