This pledge book was found in the vertical file stacks at Tau Beta PI Headquarters in Knoxville, Tennessee. It belonged to John M. St. John, a member of the Epsilon pledge class of March 1941. The "autograph book" contains signatures from Sigma Tau alumni, active members, and other Epsilon pledges at Kansas State College.

This is one of the miniature rail sections which the Epsilon pledges would have suspended, with white and yale blue ribbon, from their necks during "Hell Week" as they collected signatures from active and honorary members. The threaded hole at the top of the rail section would have received an eyebolt through which the ribbon would have been routed.

This bronze pyramid paperweight was likely cast by Degginger's Foundry in Topeka, Kansas, as the Epsilon files contain an invoice for 200 pyramids from that supplier. Each new member of the chapter received one of these weights upon initiation.
