Every year, the RSO board is made up of second-year PEGS students. At the end of every school year, elections are held among first-year students so they can take over the RSO duties.

Yes! The PEGS cohort is classed as a minor degree, since all students complete five semesters of classes.
You can apply and find all application information at kennesaw.edu/honors/programs/pegs. The application deadline for upcoming university freshman usually closes in early February. When applying for the Honors College, you have the option to apply for both programs at the same time, but you can come back to complete your PEGS application if you choose. Anyone of any degree can apply! The earlier you submit your application, the better your chances!
Admittance to the KSU Journey Honors College is the first step. While in the cohort, you must maintain good academic standing with the Honors College and KSU. Your GPA must be 3.7 or above. To complete your application for PEGS, you will complete an essay prompt.
The only fees are those associated with the study abroad trips. Fortunately, the study abroad trips are cheaper compared to other university-sanctioned trips. Every cohort class is treated the same as any other Kennesaw State class. PEGS classes are all covered under scholarships (HOPE, Pell, etc.).
All first-year students travel to Costa Rica during spring break. Second-years travel somewhere in Europe, depending on class lecture content of that year, during the Maymester. Previous European travels have included Ireland, Germany, and Poland.
