This online library curates published literary works volunteered by Filipino writers and publishers. With their help, this digital archive gives Filipinos free access to reading materials made by Filipinos for Filipinos. These include full-length books, like novels, poetry collections, and anthologies, and zines.

The e-Library is recognized as one of the knowledge management tools to capture, codify, share, and apply PCAARRD’s generated knowledge products and resources. With information on the agriculture, aquatic, and natural resources (AANR) sector vital particularly to the agenda of poverty alleviation, PCAARRD, through the assistance of the Science and Technology Information Institute of DOST, has developed a library management system designed to facilitate efficient and prompt dissemination, sharing, exchange, preservation, access, and retrieval of its resources.

Project Gutenberg is a volunteer effort to digitize and archive cultural works, to "encourage the creation and distribution of eBooks". It was founded in 1971 by American writer Michael S. Hart and is the oldest digital library. Most of the items in its collection are the full texts of books in the public domain

Scopus is Elsevier’s abstract and citation database launched in 2004. Scopus covers nearly 36,377 titles (22,794 active titles and 13,583 inactive titles) from approximately 11,678 publishers, of which 34,346 are peer-reviewed journals in top-level subject fields: life sciences, social sciences, physical sciences and health sciences

The Essential Electronic Agricultural Library has been a vital component of research in agriculture and related sciences for institutions with limited Internet access and academic resources. While we have been proud to serve this community, it is now the opportune time for us to encourage the transition to online resources, such as Research4Life and The Technical Centre for Agriculture and Rural Cooperation (CTA).
